Burgers fries and shakes
Ami S.

Exploring U district and came to the mall and stopped for dinner. First time trying this place, there was a long line and when we were ordering a lot of items were sold out. Ordered a mushroom veggie burger and onions rings and tropical shake. Took a while for our order and did not get a notification that our order was ready . Food was ok fries was limp and really not to par Fritté hype of this establishment. Came and tried but not someplace will be going back .

Shackburger

came here because I got the ShackBurger for free with another purchase, which after some debating, I decided to choose to spend on the Spicy Korean BBQ Cheese Fries First, the burger. It was smaller than I expected - although the amount of toppings inside was decent - the buns were surprisingly small. Only 500 cal for a burger is pretty low, especially one that costs nearly 7 and a half dollars I thought the quality was pretty good, though The buns were really soft and nice. Shake Shack seems to take the opposite route as some other places and undertoasts their buns - but here I found that it worked well as the top was pillowy soft and the insides of each bun was buttered well. I didn't like the fact that the mayonnaise was not spread on the bun though - instead it was in separate dollops The smashed burger was pretty good - although I do have a similar complaint about it not being thick enough. However, it did taste quite good - as it was crunchy, and well flavored I thought the cheese was also quite good and melted well on the burger patty. Wish there was a little bit more lettuce though The part of this meal that I really liked more were the fries, however After trying these, I'm pretty convinced that Shake Shack makes the best (or maybe second best to Five Guys) french fries out of any fast food place That's just the basic fries, however. These specialty fries were even better I loved the kimchi seasoning on these. While I do wish a) it would have some actual spice to it and b) it was all over the fries instead of only on a few, I found it added a fantastic seasoning - making this truly a unique french fry experience. I wasn't a huge fan of the Korean BBQ sauce - it just tasted strange and like a mix of too many different things though The cheese sauce, however, was quite good and enjoyable I also liked double dipping in the BBQ sauce first and the cheese sauce second The portion of fries for the price was much better value than the burger as well Overall, pretty high-end fast food - but would've been a lot better if the burger was larger

Chicken Shack , crinkle fries, and a shake

I like to go to Shake Shack whenever I receive some type of offer / deall - otherwise it isn't worth it at full price. It is a more pricey "fast food" option and their burgers are sometimes comparable in size to a Dick's burger. It's worth getting the app and and an account so you get notified of deals like BOGO burgers or app only pricing (ex. $3 french fries or $5 milkshakes). My main reason for the lower rating (3) for this location are the logistics - I've gone to other Shake Shack locations in the Seattle area, but this one is the most chaotic if you decide to do an app/online order. First off is the parking situation... which can be a little chaotic in U-Village. Maybe you see the long line for the kiosks on a busy Sunday night and decide to try skipping the line by ordering via the app. Within the app there is an option to pick up at the express window outside or pick up inside. During my last visit, I spent quite a bit of time inside waiting for my order - they give you a text when it's ready. I had selected the option to pick up my order inside since I had planned on eating my meal... inside. However, upon getting notified via text my order was ready for pick up, my number hadn't been called. By the time I had finally gotten a hold of someone and letting them know I had a in-store pick up, I was told all online orders regardless of what they indicate would need to be picked up outside through the express window... which was another line. It took about 10 minutes from the time I had received a text my order was ready and I managed to pick it up from the express window. In that time my food had already cooled down significantly, and I was more annoyed there wasn't any signage that all orders placed online/app had to be picked up outside. So be warned fellow app user - if you decide to order your Shake Shack through the app but want to eat inside, when you get the text that your order is ready you'll have to venture outside and wait in line at the Express Pick-Up window, regardless of how you specified where to pick it up!

The mushroom was interesting I didn't expect it to be creamy on the inside. I took a bite and it spilled out, was creamy and almost sauce/cheesy-like, was good with fries! I liked this burger more than their others, this might be a personal preference or just this location but their beef patties imo always make me feel a little queasy after the first few initial bites; it only seems to happen when I come here. However their cheesy fries are very good! There's plenty of seating and it's an average American burger spot. They also have seating outside and it's very nice when the weather's sunny! Service is pretty fast and efficient as well.

I just had an avocado bacon burger and fried pickles, and wow, where have these fried pickles been all my life? Both were absolutely delicious! I've been thinking about them nonstop since I ordered them just 24 hours ago. I might have to go back for dinner tonight. The pick up window makes grabbing your food quick and easy. Always friendly service at the pick up window. Also, as you wait for your food you are sitting outside by walls of jasmine that has the most heavenly smell. Here's a tip: if you can, use the Shake Shack app to order. They often have fantastic promotions, like free burgers and various discounts!

I just ordered this from Shake Shack Burgers. I think this might be my first time ordering from them. The Who order cost around $20. And I also ordered an onion ring. The burger is so small I am wondering if that was for a child meal. The Onion Rings aren't that good at all for under $6. It is too dried. Overall it was an ok experience for me and I am not sure I want to order from them again. That burger is kinda like Dick's Burger, but Dick's wouldn't cost so much.

Great location. Large lobby with inside and outside seating Inside lobby was a little messy. You have to order at a tablet not with a person Burger and fries were delightful, I was plenty surprised. Food was ready in a timely manner

The service is good even it's auto service. The food is really good, the cheese is melt and also the beef it's amazing. The lemonade taste natural. The ambiance it's like any other fast food place. I highly recommend it

FYI, They only have kiosks to place an order and initially, it's a little confusing where the line is. It's a typical fast food establishment, although the line did take a while. I did like that they bring out the food to you. The burger was good, but honestly a typical burger. It honestly felt like it was on the pricier side just for a burger.

The burger I got was TINY. Smaller than even a Dick's burger was my impression, though I didn't compare them side by side.

They were pretty busy when…read morewe went, but the staff was still super nice and took the time to let us sample whatever flavors we wanted. We actually got to try all the flavors they had available at the time haha. My top two were definitely the London Fog and Marionberry, but I ultimately went with the london fog! The texture was very soft and stretchy, unlike regular ice cream. The london fog was pretty tea-forward and honestly tasted just like I was drinking a london fog latte. It wasn't overly sweet either, and you could still taste a bit of that tartness from the cultured cream, which I actually really liked. Also, knowing that it's cultured makes me feel a little less guilty about eating it LOL. Like I'm getting some sort of benefit out of eating ice cream, or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Will say the price is a little steep for what you get, but I think it's worth trying at least once! The texture and flavors are pretty unique, and it tasted really good. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back to try more flavors!

I really liked this: Biscoff…read more I liked this: Marionberry Seattle Fog Plain Greek Ube Coconut This was ok: Honey Matcha Blueberry Key Lime I tried quite a few flavors here, and overall, I think the ice cream is decent, but nothing really blew me away. The Biscoff was probably my favorite #goodeats, with a stronger flavor that balances out the tartness of the Greek yogurt base. Marionberry was also pretty good, with a raspberry-like flavor that does a nice job of masking that tartness. Seattle Fog delivers exactly what you'd expect from a London Fog, and I enjoyed that one as well. Surprisingly, the Plain Greek was one of the better options. It's smooth, simple, and lets the yogurt base shine without trying to do too much. The other flavors were more of a mixed bag. Ube Coconut had good ube flavor, but I wasn't a fan of the coconut flakes. Honey Matcha was disappointing because the tartness of the Greek yogurt and the sweetness of the honey completely overpowered the matcha. It felt like too many competing flavors without any of them really standing out. Blueberry had a strong flavor, but it tasted a little synthetic to me. Key Lime was acceptable, though it mostly tasted like plain Greek yogurt with Biscoff crumble rather than anything particularly reminiscent of key lime. The service was nice, and I appreciate the simplicity of the menu. My biggest gripe, though, is how quickly the ice cream melts. It starts melting almost immediately, which makes it difficult to enjoy, especially when there's nowhere to sit inside and very limited seating outside. Combine that with the long wait, and I honestly don't think the flavors are good enough to justify the experience. I'm a little surprised by how popular this place is. It's not bad by any means, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back.

They have a good variety of flavors, and the prices are pretty reasonable especially considering what you get. The staff here is friendly and helpful, and they always do a good job of entertaining our kids when we come and stop here to get ice cream. The only downside that I can think of, is that there isn't really anywhere to sit and eat your ice cream that is specific to the shop. So if it's cold outside you may not want to go out there and get ice cream, but if it's cold you may not be getting ice cream in the first place. We always find our way here when we are on the Seattle waterfront and visiting the pier. Would definitely recommend if you wanted to stop and get a sweet treat especially on a hot day.

The staff is kind and is more than happy to let you sample to your heart's desire. There is seating both inside and out. I am sure on summer evenings this place is insanely busy, but on a Monday at approximately 2PM, I didn't wait in a line at all. They had fun summer flavors such as apricot crisp, blueberry cheesecake, cherry chunk, and strawberry sorbet. I tried two different flavors, and both were delicious. Both flavors were extremely creamy, even the fruity flavored ones. I started with the strawberry sorbet. It was refreshing. The strawberry really shined through and was extremely fresh tasting. I feel like strawberry flavoring can sometimes come off as artificial, but I did not have that experience with this ice cream. The second flavor I sample, and my favorite one of the day was the honey lavender. It felt like you were walking through an organic lavender field.
