There is a self-serve station with sauce options, napkins, and water. The burgers, for the price, are surprisingly very tiny. The taste itself is standard and on par with other fast food burger chains. Though, everyone has their own taste preferences. My fried chicken burger was very salty in some parts. It was flavorful nonetheless. The chicken itself was juicy and tender on the inside. The fries were just right and on the soft/soggy side, which is what I like. They also give you a good amount! Came in with a couple of friends on a Sunday morning and it was pretty empty. I've been to Shake Shack before. I got the smoke shack and I wouldn't recommend the pepper sauce at all. The truffle sauce I got with my fries was much more delicious. The size of the burger is pretty small, think smaller than an in-n-out single or about the same size as a MacDonald's cheeseburger. For the price it isn't particularly worth it in my opinion unless there's a deal on. I also got the cherry blossom milk shake, I can't recommend it either. There's a really fake fruit taste to it, kind of like peptol bismol. The seating area inside is nice. And there's outdoor patio seating as well. In all honestly, I really do enjoy shake shack's burgers. It's my favorite "pricier" burger spot lol. This time I tried the new "Black Truffle" burger kind of just on a whim, and it was really good! The food is really good, and so is their custard. With this location in particular, only comment is I did feel slightly rushed by the employee to order, and since it is in the spectrum center it gets very packed. But, the food did come out with a super reasonable time. I thought I'd be waiting a pretty long time because of how many people that were there, but they didn't take too long at all. I love their burgers, but it is pricier than places like In N Out, and everything is separate. You order your burger, drink, sides, etc all separate. I think my burger alone was about $12-13. 4.5 stars; I only have Shake Shack once in a blue moon and man, our food was good! Stopped by here on the way to LA right around 2pm on a weekday and although restaurant was almost full, we beat the line and lucky enough to snag one of the last open tables. I ordered the Shake Stack and my bf ordered the Double Smoke Shack which came with bacon. I loved mine!! It was a cheeseburger with a fried portobello mushroom stuffed with more cheese!! So much flavor! We also ordered the Spicy Cheese fries and didn't realize til a few bites that it was missing the melty cheese. We waved down the gentleman who took our order and he gave us a sauce container with some fresh hot cheese to pour over. The seasoning had pretty spicy kick surprisingly. My first impression when I walked in was that it was empty, but it was to be expected again since it was a Monday and it wasn't exactly lunchtime. The place itself was spacious has plenty of seating and like a lot of other restaurants these days It had a very clean, neutral aesthetic. Service was great , although we had ordered at their kiosks located right next to the entrance so no need to order at the counter .. cool option if you like a self checkout. I've had Shake Shack in NYC and Las Vegas so I was excited that a location was coming to the Spectrum. My husband and I got free single stack burgers with purchase on our T-Mobile Tuesday app and used our promo codes to order the burgers. I ordered the Shack Stack with a Dragonfruit pomegranate drink. He ordered his with Crinkle Fries. Mine went through without a hitch, while his, well the promo code was used but he didn't get a discount on his order. The app charged him the full price of the meal. He talked to the manager and she was able to give him a refund. 5 stars for service! On to the food, our burgers are the typical smashburger type but mine had a few bits of pink inside. I chose not to eat those parts and set them aside. My drink was sweet and refreshing. His burger and fries had gotten cold during the refund situation. The fries were still good though. This location has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The wait can be very long given their location. Even when I went there at 3pm, I was 3rd in line, ordered pretty quickly, but it took almost 20 minutes to get my food. I got the fries with spicy power on it and that was a bit disappointing just because they only sprinkled it on the top instead of tossing it to coat all the fries. Tasted just like the ones I had in NYC a few years back. People are always arguing about Shake Shack vs In-n-Out vs Five Guys. This is how I see it. Shake Shack is a great smash burger, I would argue Steak-n-Shake is better for that. In-n-Out is just their own deliciousness, I can't even call it a burger because no one does it like theirs, but get a double double or above, animal style with chopped chilis. It's still a very popular and very busy place. If you come for dinner and need to make it to a show later, be sure to arrive before 6pm to beat the crowds. You can also take advantage of their mobile app and their ordering kiosks. Feel free to cut the line if you want to use the kiosks that are located off to the left. We arrived at 5:35pm and the line was just starting to go out the door. 20 minutes later we were able to order. 10 minutes after that our food arrived at our table at 6:05pm. We ate and were out of there before 6:30pm. So basically in and out within an hour. It's nor smokey or bbq or bacony. I mean it's good as a cheeseburger, but like compared to habit it's not much different except smashed. The separate components aren't distinct, the bun is basic and the burgers themselves are small to taste a meal. I'm also a fan of in n out though. The chicken shack, was crispy and sort of reminds me of a popeyes sandwich. It had nice crispy pickles but again was hitting the special thing that would justify the price point.
