If I could give zero stars I would. The girl who took our order was rude and has the personality of a dial tone. She was more interested in being on her phone. I ordered and went to pick our food up and we were missing our chicken bites so I asked where they were and the rude employees wanted to argue with me and said you didnt ask for those them so I had to go back to our table, get my wallet while our other food got cold. Paid for them and finally got all our food. There wasn't a clean table in the dining room. The food was terrible, zero taste, wasn't even hot and our burger wasnt even fully cooked. We wanted a shake..5 flavors at a place called the shake shack..really?!?! 3 of us ate for over $30 Ridiculous for what you get and the rude service. Ordered two malts. $11. Very sub par for what you pay!!! Holy smokes! Watched the worker make them and they were still mostly liquid when I got them. Flavor was so-so. Seriously, you could go to another ice cream place in town and get a larger, better quality shake/malt. It's extra for whipped topping which I paid, and it was barely a sneeze full! The burger was good, fries cold and malt was delish. My biggest issue is that literally everyone was masked up. I can't help but imagine that this is being pushed by the owners. Tonight was my first visit to any Shake Shack. I was able to go to the Lee's Summit Shake Shack. The food was hot and tasty!! The staff were friendly. I could tell there were a few in training but if they didn't know something they would find out and were eager to please. The women restroom was clean and well stocked. And a pleasant surprise was that the manager was kind to us and comped our meals. I would highly recommend you visit this Shake Shack!!! read more

Worst drive thru experience I have ever had. They make McDonald's and Taco Bell look five star. The staff besides the manager were so rude and could not care less about any customer in the drive thru. They handed the wrong bag of old cold food that was not mine.. then the drive thru employee sat there arguing with the cook in front of me as I just sat there waiting about 10 minutes at the window for my food - I only ordered fries. The only one that seemed to care about his job was the manager and I honestly felt really bad for him. This place is not going to last with that staff. read more

Lee's Summit loves higher quality restaurants just as Johnson County does on the Kansas side. The Leawood KS location is awesome. This place is worse than a below average McDonalds. $43 for a screwed up drive-thru order. I ordered spicy cheese fries and wife ordered regular fries. Ended up with my fries being covered in cayenne and my wife's soaked in cheese. Also ordered the hot dog but it was no where to be found in the bag when we arrived home. Ok, then the girl hands the bag out to me literally with her back turned to me as she's standing there talking to another employee with my shake in her hand. I love shake shack's food and have frequented the plaza location. However, since this location opened, every time I come in there is an issue. I always order the same single cheeseburger with a gluten free bun and today was the third time they have served it with the bun still freezing cold in the middle (because it is defrosted). When I asked a manager to remake it she gave me attitude and said "we have to remake the whole thing since it's an allergy" I asked if i could keep my fries and she and another employee ignored me and walked away. The customer service is lacking as well as quality, but I love shake shack and the offer of a gluten free bun, so I will continue to come back. Just wish some of the employees showed a little more of a customer service attitude. read more

My burger was great but not worth as much as paid. The 50/50 tea tastes like my grandmas armpits. They always call out my girlfriends name wrong when her food is ready. Ketchup cups are so small I'm forced to use a water cup. Regardless about to for lunch today so I'll give them 3 stars. read more

The food is hyped to be the best. In efficient lines -we waited over 40 minutes only to be parked another 10-15 min. Placing an order was a disaster-repeated over and over.
