Makes me wanna Shack up
Fox E.

Astro-logically speaking this is one of the best teams out there. Considering Houston is the 4th city of America, a huge market and one which likes sports as much as the next town (to some degree), it doesn't have a marquee team that everyone here loves. The Astros have, more than any other, emerged as that team. They're very beloved by the Latin community because of people like Altuve, and because of bringing championships to Houston, a city that needs and deserves them more than most. They have a shake shack at their stadium, believe it or not. It's wildly popular, and typically overpriced. I'm not a big fan, but it's better than nothing.

EAT HERE! enough said Steph B @KTX Ok, Yelp is Demanding more (bean counters). I'm a season ticket holder for the Astros and like to get to the field early. The first thing I do entering MMP is go the Shake Shack and order a burger and a Black and White. Burger Review. : order a double meat if you're at all hungry. Instructions to eat are: 1. put near mouth, 2) inhale in one gorging (3) wipe face with napkins.

Filthy floor

I get it, working in service isn't pleasant, but if I treat you with respect, please don't treat me poorly. I walked up to the counter to order a drink and the dude rolled his eyes and with rude frustration said " we- don't - have - any fountain drinks - available!" Like sheesh! Calm down! I don't work here and there isn't a sign, how am I supposed to know? I'm not trying to fight you over a coke.... chill!! The floor is filthy.... just overall shockingly unpleasant experience. Never was a place less interested in my busines

They can't handle a small crowd here...

Before I review, let me preface it with this: I am a huge Shake Shack fan. My first time here, the service was decent and food was good, but not Shake Shack good. Their menu is limited in regards to one of my favorite items, i.e no chocolate custard and only one type of concrete. This time, I went for a Tuesday night Astros game. The ballpark was not busy at all. The line was super slow, but moving. All of a sudden right before it is my turn, the lady filling the orders starts screaming at everyone, "no new tickets, no new tickets!" Seriously you are shutting it down? There was hardly anyone in line anymore. The girl at the register would not look me in the eyes and is just standing there. So are all the other register people. They were not helping The situation at all. The line expo is still freaking out. Finally, what appeared to be the manager making more fries tells me it will be at least another five minutes before they can take my order. I had already waited so long, but I had paid to see under Astros play. Time is valuable at the ballpark and clearly Shake Shack doesn't get it. They desperately need to get some better employees and rework their processes. Maybe watch the movie, The Founder. McDonald's seems to figure out high volume production. So does In & Out. Will I go back to a Shake Shack? Yes. Will I ever go back to the one at the ballpark? Heck no! It's Torchy's all the way from now on.

Two reg Shake Shack Burgers about to disappear

Bought the cheapest $14 tickets available at the ticket window, went straight to the centerfield bar, which has great view of game and bullpen if you don't mind standing. At the start of third inning ordered my friend and I both ordered two regular burgers and Crawford Bock beer ($25 each). Watched the Astros pound division leading Milwaukee Brewers and back on the road by end of the fifth inning. Made it home in time to see end of game on TV. Fun evening. Shake shack is very greasy goodness. Woke at 2am needing antacid. Sucks getting old. Beer improved from 3 to 4 stars.

I've been wanting to try shake shack for a few months now. I've heard about them from a family member. We ordered got our food and were not taking seating so we went to sit and was told by security we can't eat in the mall. so we sat down in the good court. We got all all the food out and going out they gave us 50% the wrong food. We return to get the correct food and the lady behind the counter flooding got an attitude about her mistake was was very rude. The food was good but they got one star for the wrong food on her attitude. I will not be back

Crinkle Cut Fries ($5.25), Single ShackBurger ($6.75), Shack Stack ($11.50). Runs a little steep but it is within the stadium!

It's a Shake Shack and even for a stadium with long lines, they still put out quality burgers and fries. It's definitely the best option to go if you are willing to wait a little because the prices are only a little more than any other Shake Shack. For comparison, the single Shack Burger here is $6.75 vs $5.39 at Galleria. Compared to the food at the other concessions it's worth the better quality! It is located behind the Budweiser Patio on the 100 level, under Torchy's Tacos and has two different lines. It opens 2 hours before the game and closes at the end of the game. The menu has pretty standard Shake Shack offerings, the only different addition is the Astro Blast concrete. Your options are rather limited and you won't be filled up as if you were eating at Whataburger. The SmokeShack is their bacon burger with a twist, cherry peppers. The 'Shroom Burger is the veggie option which is a deep fried portobello mushroom filled with gooey cheeses. The best of both works is the Shack Stack, it is the lovechild of the 'Shroom Burger and their classic Shack Burger. It's definitely the option that you aren't going to get anywhere else, so it's worth a try! I think their regular Shack or Smoke Stack burgers aren't very special. All burgers comes with ShackSauce which is like a thousand island type sauce, similar to Big Mac sauce but without the pickled relish. The fries here are crinkle cut and fried to perfection. Add their signature Shack cheese sauce for only a dollar more. It's a light white cheddar type sauce that they are known for, not just nacho cheese. (Not that their is anything wrong with that!) The Astro Blast is a delicious vanilla custard with rich soft chocolate truffle cookie dough. Just the mixture of these two is worth it. Add in some broken ice cream sugar cone pieces for some crunchy texture and then chocolate sprinkles to make it all better. The only downfall is that they served me this right after I ordered and I still had to wait for my food to arrive... I wish there were lids to help it from melting in the Houston heat. They didn't have anything and I settled for using a drink lid to help, still a tasty treat! Come check it out if you are in the mood for a good burger at the stadium. Minute Maid has lots of options for local foods all over the stadium including the new Torchy's, Little Bigs, El Real, and St. Arnold's for Beer. PRO TIP: Get the extra condiments from the other stations to get toppings like pickle slices, onions, more lettuce and tomatoes. Jalapenos were a nice touch to our cheesy fries!

Chicken sandwich. Made of dreams!!

There's a reason the line for this place is usually ridiculously long. It's AMAZING! Are you at Minute Maid or planning on going any time soon? Ok, good... go to Shake Shack. NO excuses! I promise waiting in line for 2 innings is worth it if you have a beer and someone to talk to with you. The chicken sandwich is made of poultry dreams. Do I dare say? It's better than Chick fil a. Yes, I know. That's blasphemy, right? That's ok. I'll take my blasphemy with a chicken sandwich and whatever they make that mayo with! Can't wait to go catch another Astros game. The handsome and I got a chicken sandwich and a burger and both got a side of fries (he got his with cheese. A TOTAL recommend!). The total was a little less than $25. Not too shabby for ballpark food that knocked my socks off. Even the lady behind me tapped my shoulder to ask what I was eating. Ha!

I thought it was an excellent Burger! Well balance but over priced or under sized depending on how you look at it... Thank God the Cashier suggested the Double Patty because I would have been upset with a one patty burger because they're quite small. The fries were very good especially with the added cheese sauce. Not cheap but that's expected for any entertainment venue so i can't complaint too much. The only other location I know in Houston is in the Galleria Mall.

How many years has TFB been bookmarked?! Tooooo long…read more But good fortune popped up in Pearland as I was returning home from work and I just had to stop by! There was no line too?! I made a bee line to get my funnel cake before the word spread that TFB was in Pearland! I went to my IG just to see what their times would be for the pop up. First post I see is that they have a featured flavor- the cookie butter funnel cake. With Biscoff cookies and pieces of cheesecake interlingled within... Yall, I'm not a big sweets person and I only bought the large to support the biz, but that dang funnel cake is no more! Gone. Disappeared. Now, not all at once. That would be crazy, but a few bites when I first got it...a few more hours later...a few more today and yeah its gone. It tasted just as good the next day too, so well worth the money for not only the portion size but the creativity. I never would have thought to put Biscoffs on a funnel cake....so glad somebody did! The food truck is very efficient as well. You place your order and they give you a buzzer. They were willing to bring the funnel cake to me but I had parked at a distance anticipating that more people would be showing up soon so didn't want to get blocked in. Very courteous people and the funnel cake - the BEST I EVER HAD. Hands dooooown! If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, follow them on IG and enjoy satisfying that sweet tooth!

Yaay for the funnel bar food truck finally being in my jurisdiction! Of course after you finish a…read morerun what do you need?? Funnel cake and ice cream! I walk over post workout and ordered the strawtella funnelcake. Yummy! Very very good and a large portion. I ordered the small but it had weight okay! Staff were friendly and the service was quick! You get a little buzzer that notifies you that your order is ready! They have so many varieties to choose from and shakes! I'm def checking them out again if they are on my side of town
