Always loved eating here and the burgers growing up.... Came today in the medical center for lunch very disappointed the Pattie's were paper thin frozen not thick and fresh/ homemade as I remember and prices are higher. I know beef has gone up and the increase but don't cheat your customers of the quality they they are accustomed to. Why is a BLT $10!!!!! More than a burger

Tasty juicy burgers and crispy fried onion rings! Yum!

Juicy burgers and crispy onion rings. What else can you ask for? This place has been here for the 12 years that I've visited. It may be older. It says it's been around since 1980. They've also got the vegetarian Beyond Burgers! Thats a plus in my book.

So good! Burgers are big and tasty. The fries are good. They aren't super fast but it's usually packed. But it's worth the wait. They take their time with the burgers and they are very very good.

Extremely good. Excellent service. I would recommend anyone in Houston medical center to come and try it.

I was excited to give this place a try after hearing so much about it, but in the end it wasn't anything special. It was a decent burger and onion rings, but for the price I wasn't wowed. The food is fine and given the options in the Med Center, it's pretty good by comparison. However, there are many better burgers to be had around town.

It may be because of the rent at Scurlock Tower in the Medical Center, but the food is very pricey for what you get. My black bean burger with cheese, fries, and a drink came out to $14 with tax included. Ouch. Twice the cost of what I can get around the medical center, but this was more tasty. Service is at the counter, and the burgers are made to order so it will take about 10-15 minutes to get your food. My black bean burger was tasty although I was confused that the cheddar I asked for came in shredded form. It blended with the vegetables better so I didn't mind. Fries tasted standard and the portion was small for $2.75. The restaurant had a steady line throughout lunch, but this is probably the only time I'll visit.

I had opted for a beef burger with a side of chili cheese tater tots to share. The burger is quite large and filled generously with whatever add-ins you check off so it was very filling for me. I went with two 2oz patties, but considering the size, I'd opt for a single 2 oz patty if I go back. For my burger I also added scallion aioli which didn't have a strong green onion flavor but was still nice and added creaminess to the burger overall. The tater tots were super crispy, and the chili cheese topping was nice. I had gone shortly after they opened and it wasn't super busy but it started to quickly fill up around 11:30-12. Decent amount of tables and good parking situation outside

The basic burger is $12, and anything you want to add or replace is extra. Now that's including the basic sauce, which I thought would be an additional homemade sauce if I needed. Again, I am learning. I ordered grilled chicken, but at the counter, a very nice person, Eric, told me they were out of grilled chicken and had fried chicken available. I guess so, since I spend some time. I don't want to wait any longer. I also ordered homemade lemonade, which came with lots of ice. I requested that some ice be removed. I also added chard jalapenos, which were tasteless and slightly burned, so they lost their flavor. The food pick-up area was separate, and the guy who gave you a food tray could have been friendlier and said thank you. Oh well, my burger was a piece of chicken with lettuce and onion. It was ok but very dry inside. So make sure you order sauce or anything for your burger, and pay for it. When I got there, the dining hall was empty. I like this place, but plz if you're going there for the first time, read the menu carefully and place your order. Service could be friendlier, and the dining hall was clean.

Patty- juicy and full of flavor, Bun- toasted and soft at the same time, fries were crispy and salted to perfection and everything in between. Puts its local competitors to shame. A standard smashed Double cheeseburger and generous extra crispy impressively seasoned waffle fries as you want it cost $16 which is fair since adding the fries vs standalone burger is only $1 price differential. Clutch City Grill sits next to Burger Chan (the most recent title holder of best burger for my son) but this Sunday, they were not open so we tried the one we didn't try last time--CCG. And let me just say that this place tucked away inside a collective indoor food concession aka The Conservatory Galleria, has every right to boldly don the clutch city burger title. Inside this perfectly grilled almost Hawaiian role type hint of sweet homemade bun is a masterclass of burger perfection, made right in front of you and to your liking based on your selections from the order tap screens. While, waiting, I looked at everything I didn't order as it was being served and I'm almost certain that anything you order at CCG is delicious. Presentation is superb because others were sitting with large selections in front of them that caused me a bit of buyers remorse--I couldn't decide. The vibe is chill enough to talk to the grill master while my son was figuring out his massive burger order--he randomly had a hash brown added to a patty melt. And ordered something to take home or in case one order wasn't enough for the teen appetite. But the food is massive. I cannot stress that enough. Portions of everything there are beyond generous from what we saw and this is the kind of place where there's delivery guys picking up, people working on their laptops and the average joe grabbing takeout after work as well as families having dinner but not crowded. We sat and reflected on a great shopping day in a chill environment and reminisced on the old days of Galleria area last minute back to school night before/we should do this more type of memories in the making. The take something to go plus my own leftover (cutting the burger in half is an open from the order touch screen) and it passed the ultimate test of being really good cold the next day. This place begs the question--where is everybody? I can't be the only one who knows about it. But also was inviting enough to silently confirm that I think we've found our place. One that even has a cool bathroom with a mirror that says "you look amazing." Exactly how you're going to feel about the food that looks even better than it does in its promo photos
