I also grabbed a red pozole soup, which included pork and hominy stew with vegetables in a rich red chile broth. Both of these food items were absolutely tasty, made with fresh ingredients. I was completely satisfied with every bite from start to finish. Given that this restaurant is inside the airport, the price points were more on the reasonable side. I truly appreciated that, as most restaurants charge high prices for food. I highly recommend coming to Tamales by La Casita for affordable and flavorful food. I'll definitely be returning here whenever I have more layovers at the Denver International Airport.

Hey, it's good to have an inexpensive and filling airport meal that won't carb you to death or make you sick - so I'm glad it's here. But . . . I'd never visit Tamales by La Casita were it on the free side of security.

They were really busy, my first bartender (Alex) acknowledged me right off the bat, got me a beer and I sat here for a bit. I have a 4-hour layover so I'm not in a huge rush for anything. I sat for a bit and finished my beer and the second bartender (Alexis) came up to me and asked me if I needed anything, so I ordered some cheese curds. They came out super fast, I wasn't even expecting them. They were really good! I'm probably going to order hot wings here in a few, Because by the time I land tonight I won't have any food options. I ordered a double vodka/soda w/lime, and my bartender made it REAL proper like pahtna! I'll snap a few more pics, and I'll order some wings, I'm sure they'll be good. My only thing, is looking at other people's food going out, and the portions seem to be a tad bit small for the price. So if you're ordering a burger, expect that right off the bat! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. So many empty chairs at the bar. Maybe not the best place to have a long layover, or maybe it was a fluke.

We arrived around 4:45pm and were shown a table within five minutes. The hostess asked if we had at least 45 minutes before boarding to make sure we had time to eat. We had a three hour stopover so we weren't worried about time at all. We got a two top and had room to put our bags next to us. Our server's name was Kyler. He was nice and attentive, making sure our drinks were filled. He took our order and let us know it would be about 20 minutes. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with a sunny side up egg and kettle chips. My partner ordered balsamic mushroom burger with kettle chips. Both of our meals were great! The burgers were cooked to the temperature we ordered and they were not too messy. The chips were crispy and well-seasoned. There was just enough food that I was full but not stuffed and didn't have to worry about leftovers. All in all this is a great spot to grab a bite to eat between flights. If you're here earlier in the day expect a longer wait and possibly a line at the host stand. A visit later in the day will probably get you in immediately. I will definitely be back!
