Just know that depending on how popular the collab is, and even if it isn't, this place has lines out the door and is quite fisted. Tables in front are always full of people. Drinks are hit and miss. Every latte I've gotten, even with mixing is grainy sweet coffee slop and the matcha isn't too great either (way better options in the area), but if you have a sweet tooth for pastries it's not too bad. Decadent cream donuts, mochi donuts, savory sausage donuts, and creme brulee ones too. Shareable, but something I'd need to down with milk or some water.

She brought it out and it was clearly labeled on the box that it was the vegan red velvet, so I could be assured it was indeed mine. When I got home, I ate the cupcake. My experience with Shakar Bakery was like no other. For many occasions, I've ordered cakes from different vendors, but I can genuinely say ordering from Shakar Bakery was the best decision I ever made. Shantal is the sweetest person ever!! She truly knows how to make her customers feel great! I ordered a two-tier cake for my boyfriend's birthday, and she made my vision a reality. Just through my emails she was able to bring my entire thought process to life and more. Seeing the cake for the first time made me speechless. I've never seen a more talented human being than Shantal!! She's truly amazing and the best cake artist you'll find on Earth! The cake was absolutely beautiful...from the tiny details to the gorgeous topper, everything was what I dreamed of. Speaking of dreams, the cake tasted like nothing I've ever had before. I highly recommend Shakar Bakery, she's not your typical baker!! If your looking for something unique and one of a kind she's your go to person! I ordered a baby shower cake for my sister in law and Shantal the owner of Shakar bakery did an amazing job with the design, it was beautiful and unique. All the guests at the baby shower loved the cakes unique design and couldn't wait to taste it. It was a two tier cake so I had the option of choosing two flavors. The top tier was her signature chocolate dulce de leche flavor and the bottom was a yellow cake rose water pistachio flavor. Although both were moist and tasty, most guests enjoyed the chocolate dulce de leche flavor over the rose water pistachio! Shantal was very professional from beginning to end! It all started when our regular bakery was booked up for the date we needed the cake for my son's birthday party. I started looking online and saw positive feedback on Shakar's Bakery. Honestly its not an easy decision when this is the first time you are placing an order with someone who you dont know at all. Shantal took her time to listen to us and not only she did what exactly we wanted, she turned our idea to a beautiful well structured cake which wowed all of us. She is truly an artist with great skills. The whole transaction has been done through nothing but perfection and professionalism. I definitely recommend Shakarbaker for your special occasions! My son just turned 2 and he loves dragons/dinosaurs. The pumpkin chocolate chip cake i ordered from Shakar bakery was the highlight of my family's Halloween night. Not only was the cake delicious, it had a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The vanilla sage frosting is to die for. and let me tell you, i am someone that usually does not eat cake...in fact i never do because most bakery's use over 100 ingredients of garbage. Even though she did not include pink as I expected, she did inform me the colors wouldn't look exactly the same as the picture, and I understand this because she does not use artificial food coloring. I did however buy some cake sprinkles since my daughter still wanted a touch of pink on her cake, which was not a big deal because the cake was very pretty. The frosting was delicious! My sister and I kept talking about how yummy it was--without it being overwhelmingly sweet. The berries were fresh and the overall cake presentation was great. We all enjoyed the cake! Nadia was easy to work with and accepted my cake request 4 days before I needed it. Pick up was simple. There was no designated parking, but I waited for her outside the building where she works and she brought the cake into my car. She is the only organic bakery I found within miles of LA county! I definitely recommend her if you are looking for organic cakes & desserts.

We got red velvet, vanilla, chocolate and salted caramel. Everyone had their favorites, I tried the red velvet and it was great - for me, it was just as good as Sprinkles and Susie Cakes but cheaper and not part of a big franchise. I saw the pictures of the beautiful cakes they create and I will definitely like to order one in the future when the need arises. Their storefront is not open at the moment, you can order online and pick up, I believe they can also deliver.
