They had one special menu and the manapua man noodles and gaugee caught my eye. That's like the perfect combo. But we skipped out on gaugee and got the manapua man noodles. Wish the options for the additions was one fried chicken but instead it was either pork belly or sweet sour chicken. Which isn't usually the kind of combo I would get. Especially if you label it manapua man noodles. The noodles tasted more like fried noodle / fried saimin style since it was cooked on a wok. I do miss the simplicity of a manapua noodle where you dress it with shoyu and sirracha. But these noodles weren't bad. They were super flavorful. Portion was huge! My husband said he could've gone without the pork belly. The pork belly was meh. The noodles tho, ono! I also went with the japolo chicken and kalbi combo, which is my go to. Kalbi is saucy and so flavorful! The chicken is nice and crispy. My only thing is that my plate was swimming in sauce. And when it touches the rice, it's a no for me. Wish had some buffer like cabbage to catch the sauce. Other than that, food is always ono here. Service is also friendly and the place is nice and clean with lots of seating!

So, sure enough I made a trip out there...It's a good 25 minute drive from where I live. I ordered the Huli Huli Chicken and it was some of the best chicken I ever had! Even with a plastic fork and knife, it was super tender and moist. Grilled perfectly and tasted so darn delicious! They gave me a side of Teriyaki, which I barely used on my rice, since the Chicken was flavorful enough! The Mac Salad was very good as well! If it seems a little on the speedy side, it cost me almost $17 with tax, they justify by giving a big portion of Chicken and rice. It's enough to split among two people. Next time I make a trip out there, I would like to try their Garlic Chicken or their Poke dish. I wanted to try their dessert, but I didn't see a Chocolate dessert listed on the menu. You get A LOT of food for your buck which is awesome. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh! This is located on the side of a mini mart, initially when I pulled up I thought it wasn't there but then finally saw it and had to turn around. Nice food truck with lots of yummy options. Excited to come back and try it again. However they did say they were closing for the rest of the year for winter break. Also, take note this is cash only! They completed my two white chicken meat bento in less than ten minutes. I was able to get home in time for my honey to eat lunch before a doctor appointment. The chicken has this perfect char on it. We didn't even use the included sauce. Just perfect with the white rice and corn side. It was so good we're going back this weekend for more! Prices are about the going rate for lunch in 2026. $38 for two kahuna sized bento. It was enough to keep me going all day. Best teriyaki we've found so far in Vancouver and we've tried more than a few. This one wins for ticking the boxes on portion, price and quality.
