I had my SUV detailed last week and I can't say enough about the experience. The staff was so friendly, even opened the door for me! I hadn't had my interior vacuumed/cleaned in over 3 years and I have a dog so you can imagine the dog hair!! When I picked up my car, I could not find one dog hair! The interior looked brand new! Highly recommended Shadyside Detail - you won't be disappointed! read more

I had my car detailed here in August and highly recommend this place! First the staff is very friendly and willing to spend time over the phone explaining their services. I called several times over a few months trying to figure out which service would be best. Most importantly they do an amazing job! My car was sparkling in the outside and super clean in the inside. Also I didn't have time to schedule ahead so I knew it would be a long shot because they're always booked well in advance. They were willing to be flexible and we agreed on a day that I would drop off my car the prior evening and leave it there for the day. It's not inexpensive but you get what you paid for. I'm a very satisfied customer and will be back when it's time for my next detail. read more

Best detailing and they even washed car.. stains inside of my car for YEARS they somehow removed! read more

Dave does an absolutely phenomenal job taking care of your car and getting it in absolute tip too shape. We have brought him our cars for years and never have been disappointed. Regardless if it's your work truck or your Sunday driving car. They are incredibly responsive, will complete the job in only a few hours and charge a fair price for the job. Also dave is a stellar human who really takes pride in his work as all do at this garage. Looking forward to being a loyal customer for years to come read more

My car looks and smells brand new. The guys who I interacted with were incredibly nice and transparent. I got the complete interior package and they did great work. The price was also not expensive for the quality of the work. I'd go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend! read more

Could a car detailing package be the perfect gift? Yes! A friend mentioned she had her truck detailed as a birthday present to herself. That sounded great. I scheduled detailing as a gift for a parent, who thought it 'unnecessary'---then she got into her newly detailed car and found it gleaming. A much appreciated gift. Make an appointment a couple months in advance. There's solid reason why Shadyside Detail is booked solid: they are dedicated to doing it right. read more

The guys here are seriously so great! I work crazy hospital hours and they did the absolute most to fit me in to get my car seats deep cleaned (I just got a new used car and there were some dubious brown stains driving me crazy). My car looks immaculate and I wouldn't hesitate to send my little sister and parents their way. Also for a real professional clean at a facility with tons of experience I thought prices were more than reasonable. read more

I hadn't been here in a while. My last review was very positive and this one is even better. I am so impressed by the way this company operates. The customer matters 100%. It's such a pleasure doing business with them. The owner Mike is a great businessman who understands the importance of service and he's a very nice person too. My car had bird seed spilled in every nook and cranny. I didn't think they'd get but they did. I trust how consistent they've been in their level of service that Ive even referred family!! And friends. I'm a loyal customer for life. read more

Immaculate. I'd share photos but I'm almost too embarrassed to show the condition of my car before I had it detailed. When I went to pick it up, it was completely spotless. I've had my car for 11 years so there was a lot of crumbs and dirt between the seats. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Excellent service and detail job. Very friendly staff. Top notch professionalism and job. I was very surprised by the end result. Definitely worth the cost. read more

We just had our car detailed for the first time in 12 years. The interior was embarrassingly dirty and stained. It was nearly unrecognizable (in a great way!) when it was returned to us 4 hours after we dropped it off. We opted for the interior focus. When we made the appointment, they quoted us between $95-115. Of course, in the end, they charged us $115. We thought the prices were a bit high, but we just couldn't handle our dirty car any longer. Given the high price, we might look elsewhere. It did come with a "free" exterior wash although we didn't really care about that. Despite the price, we were really pleased with the results. They were able to remove serious stains on the upholstery and floor mats. Every inch of floor was spotlessly vacuumed, and every interior surface was beautifully shined. It was a high quality job. Overall, I'm left with a 4 star review because although the service was 5 star, the price is 3 stars. read more

These guys didn't just save my car, they saved me! Three years ago, I found myself actually living in my car due to lease issues and really bad timing (holidays - no room at anyone's house,, parent out of town). Then something in the 25-year-old engine blew, and chemicals from that spilled into the front passenger side. Being both asthmatic and suffering from other medical issues potentially exacerbated by chemicals and cold, I didn't know what I was going to do. I needed to sleep in there, but I couldn't open the windows; could barely stand to drive it from the garage to Shadyside. They accepted my car at closing, and took care of it for me. They star "Amazing!" They were able to get all that out - I could breathe easily, and the car's ancient carpeting looked brand new! Thanks again, guys! I am in a much better situation now, and just got a beautiful new(er)car.Guess where I am taking it to be babied? And I'm bringing tip money, too! read more

We had a great experience with Shadyside Detail this summer. They were thorough and our cars look great.

They did a great job! I just got my car back and I am over the moon happy with the results. I had coffee, soda, and food stains throughout the interior. Shadyside Detail got stains out from years ago that other detail shops could not. The exterior looks so sleek! Plus, the other shop charged more! Shadyside Details prices are very reasonable especially since they have top of the line equipment like carpet extractors. It's expensive equipment and It's not unheard of to be charged a hundred dollars just for carpet extraction alone on top of interior detailing! Finally, they are friendly and organized. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Brought my car for interior detail. Staff did a great job getting all the pet-related stains out of the leather seats/carpet. Job completed on time by a courteous staff. read more

Excellent customer service and very friendly guys. They helped me out when I pulled in on a whim to see if they could check my tires after my light came on before I got on 376 even though it's not among their typical services. I will definitely take my car here for their detailing services in the future. read more

These guys do good work and more than that they have great integrity! They were backed out by about a month when I called to schedule a detail. But the location to my home made it worth the wait. They did excellent work. Was very happy with the results. But later that week when I went to fill up at the gas station I noticed the strap that holds my gas cap had broken off. I inspected the cavity and it had definitely been cleaned. I couldn't say with complete certainty that it was their fault, but it seemed like a plausible explanation. I called them up and explained what I saw and they told me to drop by so they could look at it. Mike (the owner) took a look and without hesitation told me he'd take care of it! I was very impressed! He didn't try to fight me on it at all. He just took care of it! For that, I'm writing this review, and I have no doubt I'll be back if I should ever need another detail. read more

They saved my car. Not joking. I had to drive my car from California to Baltimore to drop it off for shipping to Europe.I also brought some hot sauce for my friends which I stupidly left on the floor of the driver side passenger seat in the back. When I left Indiana in the morning, at a highway truck stop my friend in the car discovered that the hot sauce spilled all over the back, on the carpeting, the floor mat, and the rails the seat slides on. FML. I cleaned it up as much as I could and pressed on. but throughout the day on I-80, the smell starts to build. On the way to Pittsburgh I called every detailing shop in the area and they either didn't pick up, or can't fit me in. I called Shadyside too, and they told me they all all booked. I started to panic. The car is going to sit, with windows closed, under the hot July East Coast sun on the Baltimore docks for a week, then spend the next 3 weeks on a ship crossing the Atlantic. You can imagine just how bad this would get when I picked up the car in Sweden. As I reached Pittsburgh, I realized my friend's house is in Shadyside, not too far from this shop. In sheer desperation, I figured I'd drop by and see if they can squeeze me in, since it is only the left rear side of the car and wouldn't take too long. What the hell, the worse they can say is no and I'll go to Target and buy a portable carpet cleaner as my backup plan. When I got to Shadyside at 4PM, I told the gentleman behind the counter what happened, and explained how desperate I am because of the shipping issue. At first he told me they are completely book and they are closing in an hour, but he decided to take a look at just how bad the problem is and how much of the area was affected. Upon seeing that it is only the left read side, he told me he'll take care of me. They spent about 20 minutes thoroughly cleaned up my mess and also cleaned of about 200,000 dead bugs that was on my front bumper and windshield (thanks South Dakota) By this time I'm already extremely grateful they took care of me. Since I'm used to Silicon Valley pricing, I fully expected to shell out $100+. Imaging my shock when they charge me $26.50. Two people, one cleaned dead bugs from my bumper / windshield, another one power washed, enzymed, and vacuumed my carpet / floor mat / seat for 20 minutes. $26.50. Between the cleaning to the time I dropped off my car at the port of Baltimore the next day, there was no smell at all. So, these guys just saved my car, at the end of a busy work day, without an appointment, for a desperate out-of-towner who is not going to be a repeat customer for them, for barely the cost of a nice meal. I'm speechless. If they took care of me like this, I can't imagine how awesome it is to be their regular customer. Pittsburgh is amazing. Shadyside's employees are amazing. You Yinzers are lucky to have a shop like. All I have in the Bay Area are a bunch of shop that'll half-ass a detail while charging me a stupid amount of money. read more

I took my SUV to Shadyside Detail after 6 long years with 2 small children having a backseat smorgasborg. The service was friendly and the results were astonishing. The vehicle looked like new, inside and out. And THE SMELL is gone! Reasonable cost, and worth every penny. I won't wait 6 years to go back. read more

I should have written this a while ago. I brought my Porsche Panamera here for detailing a couple years ago and was so disappointed in the service. When I got my car back, there were streaks on the windows and bird poop still stuck on the spoiler. This would be fine if I took it to a regular car wash, but I paid over 100 dollars to get a dirty car back. Surely a "detailing" company should do better. read more

bad experience！ I paid more than 100$ to clean my car! After cleaning , the oil stain on the back is still there! What makes me more annoyed is that there is a crack on my front leather seat after cleaning!!! read more

Very satisfied customer! Dealt mostly with Mike and he was very accommodating. Had an appointment for a basic detail but was also having an issue with the tint on one of my front windows- it was peeling off and causing the window to have problems opening/closing. I mentioned it to Mike on the phone beforehand and he offered to take it off for me. He ended up cutting it down and taking out pieces of tint that were stuck in the window, and I think that he only charged me for the basic detail! He also offered to set up an appointment with a tinting professional at Shadyside detail for me. Bottom line- Car looked great and my tint issue was definitely better. Would highly recommend! read more

Highest praise possible! Shadyside Detail has cleaned my SUV several times. Our dog covers the back seat with hair, dirt, and grass. Our exterior gets coated with tree sap. No problem for these guys. Once they work their magic, you'd think my car was brand new. Price is affordable and their customer service is wonderful, too. read more
