Moon Flight Coffee Drive-Thru, Car Wash & Dog Wash

I stopped by here yesterday with my wife for some coffee. It was the first really cold day of the…read moreseason and my wife and I were somewhat underdressed, so whenever I saw a coffee place on our way home from errands, we pulled in. Moon Flight Car Wash, Dog Wash and Coffee is exactly what it sounds like. The coffee shop is the only portion that we used though and so this review will be about that only. Whenever we pulled up to the shop there was no one else there and we were quickly waited on. You can either use the drive through or the walk up window here and we choose the drive through. After perusing the menu my wife and I both went for one of the fall specials with her choosing a medium hazelnut latte while I went with a large cinnamon bun. As others have noted, it's not your usual coffee experience in that the store sells cigarettes and lottery tickets as well. So it's almost like a limited mini mart, but it served its purpose for us. After only a short wait both my wife and I had our coffees and we were on our way. My coffee here was hot and tasted exactly like what I ordered, a cinnamon roll. So it was very cinnamon forward and also somewhat sweet. Due to that I couldn't really taste the coffee or milk much, but that isn't surprising based upon what I ordered. My wife thought that her coffee here was good as well. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. We found Moon Flight to be convenient and that it had what we were looking for on this day.

I just used this car wash to the tune of $13.00. Half the jets weren't working for the duration of…read morethe wash and the ones that were working were so powerful it felt like a laser was cutting through my car and the undercarriage wash lasted for all of two seconds when I pulled in. This top priced wash didn't even take the dirt of the front and driver side of my car yet it left a load of soap on the other half. Also this was the second automatic bay I pulled into, the first one read my card but wouldn't progress on through so I had to pull out and go to the second bay and start over. Lastly I didn't get a receipt which I don't like, I guess the printer was broken too. No bueno. I would say avoid this car wash like the plague, it feels like a scam car wash and is definitely not worth the price.

On 21 February 2025, I purchased a used 2017 BMW M2, which had roughly 24240 miles…read more I drove 600 miles roundtrip to make the purchase because of Ken, who provided prompt replies to my queries on the condition of the car. When I arrived to test drive, the car ran a low battery alert on the second start after a few minutes of driving. I wanted to leave but something about the mileage and the Carfax convinced me it was clean and that there was no electrical issue besides the battery. Another buyer might've been wary of the alternator at that point, causing battery drain. Then, when you looked around the car, you'd notice it wasn't detailed properly. There was food dried to the B pillar and behind the steering wheel, as well as a bag of trash in the trunk. I noticed when I popped the trunk to check the battery after having already asked Ken to verify that it was in working order before I arrived to test drive the car. I didn't gripe about these issues. In fact, I made it an easy sale and I regret it. I didn't complicate the sale for issues which would have alerted other buyers to your indifference in preparing this car. How do you deliver a car with a dead battery to a buyer who drove 300 miles and gave you a week to prepare the car, while asking about key details including the battery. It reads negligent, and I am unsurprised that lack of care in adequately inspecting the car manifested again. You can produce a narrative about what I did to the car, but my evidence suggests you were more careless than I was and I believe strongly that others will agree. Last night, 13 days after purchase, the car threw a check engine light. Error code P120D bank 1, hose broken or defective. Upon closer inspection of the engine bay, you will notice lots of loose electrical tape that has been haphazardly wrapped around wiring. Now I know why. The engine bay was also likely power-washed, which can loosen hoses and wiring and clamping. I am extremely frustrated because I just made a purchase I can't presently drive, and trust me I could have purchased a lot of other cars. I was driving out to dinner last night with a date, and then I had to cancel plans because the car isn't drive-able in its present condition and now I am out of a car until I fix it. That's not how a new car purchase should work, and I will advise others about what I experienced because it is extremely irregular and deceptive to sell a collector-esq car that can't even be driven. The part that failed isn't regular wear and tear either, especially not at this mileage. You might have even cleared the code. Personally, I do believe someone did. As someone who has only purchased used cars in the past, and who has owned BMWs before, I can safely say this is irregular maintenance that would never appear on any clean car, but especially not on any car that had been well inspected because it's inexcusable to pop a drive-train issue this short after purchase on a car with this mileage. This isn't a "clean car." When I told Ken this and expressed my warranted frustration, he suggested I was driving the car too hard. However, His sales manager, Scott?, stated too much time had passed. Which excuse is it? I am unsure at this point but surely someone will reply stating I declined a warranty, which they are welcome to do. However, I am also entitled to say they don't inspect vehicles properly. They lie. They clear check engine codes. They will sell you poorly inspected used cars and my experience was poor before during and after the sale. Cannot recommend. Last text is Ken laughing about me for the damage. Sick.
