A huge thank you to our project manager, Allen, who did an amazing job keeping everything organized and running smoothly. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with--a special shoutout to Johan (their master plumber and electrician) and his brother for their outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. Like most major remodels, there were a few unexpected delays along the way, but almost all of them were completely out of their control. What impressed me most was their dedication: the team worked tirelessly, including weekends, to make up for lost time and keep us on schedule. We were also thrilled with their designer, Emanuele, who was incredible to work with. He helped guide us through color schemes and design choices, and his vision really brought the spaces to life. On top of the bathrooms, we decided last-minute to have them replace the cracking tile in our entranceway. They knocked it out incredibly fast, and they did a great job containing dust and keeping the work areas clean throughout the process. I highly recommend Wise Builders to anyone looking for quality work, clear communication, and a hardworking team. Thank you, Wise Builders!

They are honest, forthcoming, and patient, and their communication was fantastic throughout the entire project as they worked diligently to keep everything on track. Of course, with a full home remodel there are always unforeseen problems. When we hit a major delay due to the HVAC subcontractor, Aaron and Alex worked incredibly hard to resolve the issues and advocate for us. Even though those HVAC problems cost us about six weeks, the overall project still came in right on schedule. Our kitchen designer, Michele, was fantastic and brought our vision to life perfectly, and the bathrooms were designed beautifully as well. The crew--Angel, Asher, Enrique, and Donato--were professional, hard-working, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Wise Builders for their full-service approach and excellent problem-solving.

With it being our first, we got several quotes from different businesses and ultimately decided on Valley Boutique for several reasons. The biggest reason we chose them was that they were a referral from a previous customer in my mom's group. She said the communication throughout the project was excellent as well as their follow through on their promises. And this is indeed true. I worked directly with Ido and Noa for project planning and project design. They truly helped bring our vision to life! Their crew was excellent and the work was done expertly. Wholeheartedly refer them for home renovations!

We'd been planning to renovate our 100yo house for 20 years, but with its corner location and tiny…read moresize, it was near impossible to get permitted by the City of Palo Alto. We went with Greenberg because they knew how to do modern houses and how to deal with the City. We went from horrible hideous uninsulated shack to a gorgeous gem where we can Age in Place! Every single person who has walked in says, "WOW! It's beautiful! It's incredible what you guys have done!" We have friends & professionals who have built/renovated many houses all exclaim what a high-end luxe job this was! We could not have done this without Greenberg. In particular, we worked with the wonderful Ohad Sherion throughout the process who managed all the subs, city departments involved, neighbors, vendors, etc. Our attention was elsewhere as we were very busy with our work, caring for our elders, so it was invaluable that Ohad kept us up-to-date throughout the process. Ohad was able to make our wishes come true, including bathrooms with custom tiles that were no longer available--so he found us an artisan who recreated them by hand. To make the small space look and feel spacious, we went with an open concept which left few walls to hang art. From the beginning, we worked with Ohad to create a design to showcase our art collection. Ohad is persistent and works to get projects not only functional but beautiful. For example, we have a unique front door which needed to be tweaked and he patiently worked with subs to make it happen. My husband was thrilled that we ended up with a house with superb insulation (including sound), up-to-date plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems. He feels great about the new roof and solar panels. But I am in love with the amazing personal details that make this place a home (finally). We are so grateful to Ohad. Go with Greenberg to make your dream come true!

He'd worked with one of our friends previously, and so we knew he'd do a great job for our project. We also loved Greenberg's integrated approach. The architect, constructions, design and management was all done by Greenberg. This meant that the project from top to bottom was aligned with the team actually doing the construction work. My top priorities were 1) a modern home design 2) a job done with high quality 3) low stress. Ohad / Greenberg helped deliver on all of these aspects in spades. The last thing I wanted to do was have to coordinate with flaky contractors, have to re-do low quality work after a long day at work. Ohad kept the project on track and handled all the hassle of dealing with subcontractors & inspectors. Greenberg probably won't be the cheapest contractor you'll talk to, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Quality work, up to code, and no drama is well worth the cost. Ohad worked with us throughout the project to consider different budget options, and gave candid advice about where he thought the budget would be best spent. Overall, highly recommend. I was referred by a friend and have put multiple friends in touch with Greenberg for their projects as well. Everyone is floored by house nice our remodel turned out and will 100% be in touch in the future for any future projects we have.

When they came, they went above and beyond to pinpoint the exact location it's coming from by going on the roof with a hose and opening up light fixtures from the living room to take pictures inside. They were able to find the exact spot and seal it as well as replacing all the rotten wood we had around the chimney. Finally no more pots and pans for us! We are very grateful for the hard work and the dedication that they put into solving our issue. The pricing was very fair as well. We wanted to get our home ready for our newborn baby, so having everything come together and be finished on time was really important to us. From the beginning, communication was easy, and the team did a great job listening to our ideas and making sure the details from our original design plans were carried through. The kitchen fabrication turned out beautiful, and you can really see the attention to detail in the finished work. We also really appreciated that the pricing was affordable and that the project stayed on schedule. Avi and Joseph were our project managers, and they helped make the whole process go smoothly. Having a remodel done can be stressful, especially when you're preparing for a new baby, but we felt good about the work being done and loved seeing everything come together. Overall, we're really happy with how our kitchen and bathroom turned out. Between the quality of the work, easy communication, reasonable pricing, and finishing on time, we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their home!

The communication, timeliness, and finish quality was just not there with our project…read more I'm not sure if this is because of a deficiency in project management, or because of the poor contracting. From the beginning, we were never given a good sense of timeline and when parts of the project were to be completed. Contractors would not show up on days when we were told they would come, and they would randomly show up on days where we were not given any warning and we had to be at work. The contractors that came to spray texture on the walls showed up at 7pm on a Friday night. We felt bad they had traveled so far and so late, but amazed that nobody had thought to communicate their arrival to us. Because the contractors would show up at random times and complete random parts of the project, we were always being forced to rush order parts that we didn't have on hand. This included a dishwasher air gap, a garbage disposal, and the cabinet handles. As professionals, why wouldn't they have a list of required finishes for all their customers? There were also just other instances of poor management. They miscalculated how much slab we needed, so they charged us extra for that as well. The handles on the cabinets were badly misaligned, and looked like nobody had measured the distances to the edges of the cabinets. We had to ask for this to be fixed. There was a missing finished edge on the cabinet end by the dishwasher, which we also had to ask to be fixed. We had to ask for so many basic things like having our window screen reinstalled and the window lock reattached 2 weeks AFTER the final inspection passed. If the final inspection is done already, there's no more excuses for delays in finishing a project. There was no final walkthrough once everything was done. We just noticed that one of the cabinet faces has a huge scratched up area where it looks like someone colored it in with a crayon. Shouldn't this sort of damage be disclosed to your customer without us having to scrutinize? In conclusion, if you look at the work from a distance, it's up to code and done fine. The whole experience has been so dragged out, however, that at this point we can't even be bothered with calling out the weird crayon thing.

Our latest and third project with IKB was completed during the COVID-19 pandemic…read more IKB built a guest bathroom, (this house never had one before), a new master closet, and sliding barn doors added to our living room making it into an optional guest room, new overhead lighting, a fireplace insert, wooden floors refinished, a new roof, new solar, & a Tesla power wall. There were just so many pieces that had to fit together. This is where a real experienced contractor pays off. Once again our choice in using IKB was validated. Keith and Tyler, IKB's builders, the designers, Lucy the project manager, all the office staff and subcontractors were so great to work with. I would call my design style "Industrial bohemian". When our designer said "we can work with that" I was surprised and delighted. Our new guest bathroom is exactly that, industrial bohemian. Who knew? For the rest of it, selecting lighting, doors, door handles, every nut and bolt can be exhausting but it all came together at the end. We started with IKB when we remodeled an outdated master bathroom. We were so impressed with the IKB designers & builders, Keith and Tyler, that we signed on to get a kitchen remodel as well. During the kitchen remodel, we decided to live in our house during the entire process, setting up an outdoor kitchen in our backyard and eating out. Keith, Tyler & the subcontractors became like family to us. As a professional chef and restaurateur, I knew my way around kitchen design. Home design materials are not as durable as professional materials but professional materials are not beautiful. The IKB designers were able to help us find tough, durable materials that were beautiful and timeless looking. After 13 years, people still marvel at how beautiful our kitchen design is. IKB was able to finish 3 weeks earlier than expected! Any good craftsman will tell you that a good outcome depends on the prep. You can't make a great meal unless you use great ingredients. The same thing goes for construction projects. If you don't do your work prior to starting your project, it will not go smoothly and you will not be happy with the results. IKB does the work, and they take pride in the results.

Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

Working closely with the owners, Ellie and Nir, and our project manager, Tal, was an excellent experience from start to finish. Communication & Teamwork: Communication was flawless and there were absolutely no surprises. They set up a WhatsApp group for weekly updates(with photos), and we held regular on-site meetings. They were very proactive, giving us plenty of heads-up on upcoming decisions and open items so execution never stalled. Early on, we hit a hiccup with an external designer; Ellie stepped in immediately to resolve the issue and keep the project moving seamlessly. Seamless Permitting & Back Office: A special shout-out has to go to their back-office staff, who are absolutely awesome. Navigating city permits can be daunting, but they handled everything perfectly. Our permit review took only a few months, was entirely on schedule, and went through with zero surprises. Design Savvy & Flexibility: Their taste and advice are excellent. During the design phase, they helped us ideate multiple layout options to cover as many of our requirements as possible(while staying practical ). Even during execution, their eye for aesthetics was invaluable. For instance, after installing two sliding doors in the kitchen, we realized we didn't love the look. They suggested a modified, larger single-door solution, and handled the change order smoothly with minimal impact on our timeline. Whenever we doubted their advice initially, we almost always wound up landing on their suggestion because they were always right. Budget Transparency: Level Up is a premium builder, but they are fairly sensible about budgets. They took the time to understand our price sensitivity and tailored their recommendations for materials and contractors accordingly, ensuring every dollar spent added genuine value to the house. Even with a decent amount of mid-project changes, the final cost lined up with our expectations. Vendor Coordination & Quality: The craftsmanship and installation quality are top-notch. They were also remarkably flexible with sourcing; we used a mix of their recommended suppliers and vendors we chose ourselves. Even when we acted as the go-between for our own suppliers, Level Up was completely professional, accommodating, and coordinated with us effortlessly. On the rare occasions they had issues, they took proactive responsibility and addressed it to our satisfaction. If you want a contractor with great taste, incredible flexibility, and total professional integrity, I highly recommend Ellie, Nir, Tal, and the Level Up team.
