I explained how disappointed I was because when I dropped off the garments, there was no mention about having to replace the fabric of the belt loops or completely altering the back of the skirt where the zipper was. She asked what she could do to make it right. I could tell she really cares about her business and customers, as well as the quality of work they produce. I explained that there wasn't much because of how altered they both were but instead, to make sure her parents fully understood what the customer was wanting and not to be afraid to say no if they couldn't actually do it. She agreed and again, couldn't have been more apologetic. This was a learning lesson for both parties and I know how to move forward. In the beginning, she asked if she could give me a refund. I declined at first because I wasn't seeking one but instead, was really hoping something could be done about my clothes. After a few phone calls, I decided I'd go ahead and take it. Prior to this, It had been a while since I've brought something to them but because this was handled so professionally, I'll continue using them but for dry cleaning only. The dress was pretty clean but the bottom was pretty dirty from our outdoor wedding. Their service was excellent. They got it cleaned and packaged up in box within two weeks of dropping it off there. The communication they provided was excellent. They even sent a text message when the dress was ready for pickup. The quality of work was well worth the cost. The dress cleaning and preservation was $260 then they offered two size boxes. The medium box was $80 and the large box was $100. My wife's dress luckily fit into a medium box so I walked away with an out the door price of $360. I was not aware until I picked it up that the box I purchased came with a window so that you could still see the dress while keeping it packaged up and looking nice! I would highly recommend this place for all your dry cleaning needs and especially if you're looking to have your wedding dress preserved. My rating : BEST

My…read moredaughter arrived and was asked to try on to alter length and Gina body shamed my 18 year old by telling her she was a big girl and it wasn't the right dress for her. Told her repeatedly she was too fat for the dress and had my daughter in tears. I called Gina who lied about body shaming my daughter but did tell me she didn't think it was the right dress for her body. My daughter returned an hour later and we video recorded the interaction with proof that she was body shaming my daughter for two and a half minutes before returning the dress and payment so we could take elsewhere. No women should ever body shame another women. I will never support Gina again.

My dream dress was long sleeve lace, yet I purchased a strapless plunging neckline dress with floral appliqué. I tried it on every day for a week hating the dress more with each try on...then I called Custom Alterations for a hem and take in, she answered and swiftly got me on the schedule. When I arrived at my appt I basically let her know I despised the dress and wanted to give it a complete makeover. I thought she was going to tell me I was crazy especially coming to her LESS THAN 8 WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING...but she was confident and totally up for whatever I wanted to do! I told her my long list of things I wanted to change and shared many Pinterest photos with her, and she emailed me an invoice later listing all the changes I wanted with pricing. She was transparent about pricing, timeline, and the dress's limitations...really great communication!! She created sleeves including buttons, loops, and straps for attachment. Removed, recreated, re attached and hemmed my skirt. And she recreated the bodice and added lace. I came to her really upset with the dress I purchased and left a few short weeks later with the dress I envisioned myself in. It looked absolutely amazing and nothing like the original dress at all. I love when someone has a talent they are passionate about and do that thing really well. And that is Peggy and her team at Custom Alterations. They are true artists and witnessing their creations was inspiring! Plus Peggy's amazing customer service as a business owner was remarkable. Very friendly and personable.
