I brought in my otherwise very well made Mark's winter parka (for our frigid winters) that had a…read morevery annoying double zipper that I had such difficulties with and it was very much stuck in place. The tailor saw right away what was wrong with the zipper and had a plan in place how to fix the problem. He indicated that the zipper needed to be stronger, wider and of a better quality. He suggested having a much better single zipper and for the zipper to not extend to the bottom of the parka. I readily agreed with him that this would be a perfect plan. Fabric would be put in place at the bottom. It also already had snaps. I brought it in on Tuesday and it was ready on Friday. I was ever so very happy with my parka and truly wonderful new zipper (YKK - great quality)!!! It works perfectly now and I have no difficulties with it! I have in the past brought items into the shop and have always been totally satisified with the service and reasonable costs!!! Do bring your tailoring needs here and of course drycleaning!

I had dropped off a pair of basic Zara sweat pants to get hemmed (nothing fancy) just a straight hemm. Was a bit irritated that they wanted $25 for that, when I said that's a lot he knocked $5 off. Sorry but that's really pricey for most places that charge $8-$12 for a basic hem for sweat pants!! They told me I could pick them up in a week so really defeated coming here since I needed them ASAP. It's unfortunate because it's a decent space they have.
