Farmer's Market crepe and blueberry matcha latte
Jenna O.

I've lived in Milwaukee for over 10 years and have somehow never tried Seven Swans Creperie until today. Super tasty food, very cute interior and great staff! I will definitely be back.

My sister and I went here this morning for breakfast this morning. We got there a bit after 9. I think the day light savings spring ahead worked in our favor and we were able to get a table right away. By ten am, the place was full and people were waiting. My sister got the Benedict crepe and I got the KC special crepe. Both were delicious. We splurged and added a dessert crepe, Paris, towards the end of our meal. We loved it. A few things important to note, you order at the counter and then select your table. If you order drip coffee, you get that yourself after you pay. There are extra napkins and silverware in the dining room. It is appreciated if you bus your own table. There is a bin between the dining room and bar area. They have a cute area with items for sale like local candles and body lotion. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning soon!

This place is still such a gem in Riverwest! They're cranking out delicious food and drinks and it's a must-visit. I love the unique seasonal drinks they have and usually get one of those. Also check out the cute little area where they sell cards, pens, hair clips, and other gifty things.

I've walked past Seven Swans Creperie several times and finally got a chance to stop by this weekend. I love how cozy and cute the interior is (I didn't get to take a photo of the patchwork wall, but it is adorable). Ordering is easy as you order at the front and seat yourself after getting a number for your table. They have a ton of fun flavors for their sweet and savory crepes. They also have a vegan menu, bakery items, and seasonal coffee drinks as well! We ordered the cherry cobbler crepe and the chicken pot pie crepe! Both were super delicious, and the perfect size to share. I also ordered a orange clove latte as well, which was perfect for the cold weather! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely want to come back soon! Also, it does get busy in the morning, so I highly recommend coming right when they open :-)

I love Seven Swans! The food is amazing so many different varieties of crepes savory and sweet. Something for all your taste buds. The lattes are also top notch! Also seasonal flavors. I really enjoy the vibe, very artsy

I'm still fairly new to the area and always looking for fantastic food anywhere I go. One of the things I've missed about my hometown since I relocated is a crepe shop and...this place knocks my hometown's spot (sod dr) out of the water. When you walk in, you grab a menu and order, receive a table number for your order, and pick your own seating. I ordered a Sweet Potato Latte that was on special and it was AMAZING. And for eats, I had the Campfire crepe. 10/10 recommend and look forward to coming back. The waitstaff as a whole were SO friendly as well. Definitely makes the place one you want to return to.

Have you ever wished that you went to a restaurant sooner? That's how you'll feel about seven swans crêperie. Their decor is cute & adds to the ambience with the most delicious crêpes. All four dishes were amazing and the best part is they have a seasonal menu. We will be back.

Amazing Crêpes and a beautiful interior! Even though it's an order at counter restaurant, the service feels like a sit down restaurant.

Crepes were super delicious. Also had the lavender tart which I could have eaten 10 of but I had to pace myself. Latte was delicious as well. Fast service and cute decor.

This place is a hidden gem - at least it was, before supposedly going viral on TikTok a few weeks ago, leading to a Sunday brunch rush in the late morning. The secret is to go right when they open or around 12:30/1PM. Service: You order at the counter, then find a seat in their dining space all on your own. Frankly, this is a very smooth experience and preferred to having someone interrupting your meal every 5 minutes to wait on you. If that's not your jam, that's alright. Coffee: One of the best restaurant chai lattes (aka not from a stand alone coffee shop) - owed to the spices and masterful layer of microfoam. Their espresso is smooth and balanced, and they have an impressive menu of coffee and tea that changes seasonally. Ambience: Think up north antique grandma's house - their dining space is a rescued collection of eclectic pieces of furniture. It's cozy, inviting, and warm, thanks to an ample amount of wood and deep greens. Their space feels like a warm hug. Food: The heart of the matter - their crepes are exceptional. I've tried their savory crepes, which are good and have a generous portion of filling, as well as their sweet crepes with fruit, Nutella, etc. But much like vanilla ice cream, I judge any food spot on their ability to deliver on their most basic menu item. Where Seven Swan's shines is their plain crepe (Dad's Skinny Pancake).

- good food, great service, warm ambiance - no reservation can be made - would love to come back! Checked this place out with my girlfriend as its been on my list for a while and seeing a recent instagram post from them! They offered some good sweet and savory crêpes, good service from their kind staff, and a cozy environment throughout the restaurant. For my crêpe, I got the Forest crêpe for a savory start to the day. The crêpe itself was nice and soft and buttery, and not inherently sweet, so it allowed the savoriness to shine and not be mixed with a weird sweet flavor. The bacon was in nice big pieces and its saltiness was able to be tasted with each bite. For some additional flavor, the garlic parmesan sauce worked complementary to add some extra salt without the meaty flavor. Mellowing out the strong flavors from the bacon and parmesan, the spinach and mushrooms offered a softer texture and helped to disperse anything extra to balance the dish and prevent it from feeling heavy. For my drink, I got the Golden Milk Latte. This was unfortunately really not my cup of tea. I honestly cannot remember much about the flavor as I was surprised with the amount of "debris" in my drink from the additional spices and turmeric. It felt like I was drinking straight out of a tea bag. I imagine this was for some healing properties if sick, but I would think I could get the same effects without having to experience all the grit in my mouth. My girlfriend got the Paris crêpe to have a nice sweet treat for the day (without bananas). This crêpe was nice and soft and not overly sweet with all of its toppings. There were plenty of strawberries and nutella throughout, but it never felt too much. There were plenty of almond slices on top, so maybe that helped to cut through and prevent it from being overly sweet. Overall a solid crêpe that has me wanting to try their other sweet crêpes! For her drink, she got the Peppermint Latte (seasonal). The drink itself was pretty strong and powerful, but the cream on top helped to balance out the bitterness. It had some good peppermint flavor, but given the holidays, I think personally would have liked to see this option more as a peppermint hot cocoa... still good for the cold winter day! This place offered some good food and was pretty busy despite seeing an earlier post discussing slow business. Of course, days vary, and we went on a saturday morning, but it was good to see that they were busy! We had been told food would take ~1 hr, but it came out a lot quicker, so that was good to see considering the crowd. It is all self-seating, and the staff was very friendly and notified us to just let us know if they needed anything to be cleaned. The space itself was quite cozy and even had a few trinkets on sale from local artists. Alongside the warm interior, they also have an outdoor area that I would imagine is just as welcoming! It was good to see they were busy and I hope it continues through the new year so I can come back when it is warmer and see new items on the seasonal menu and sit in their outdoor area!

Every time I have come here have enjoyed anything I've ordered. They have really good baked goods as well. Extremely friendly staff and love the ambiance! One of my favorite breakfast spots in Milwaukee.

Lemon blueberry crepe

Visited again and had another GREAT experience! Tried the farmers market crepe, the seasonal lemon blueberry, and the Italian crepe. I still think the KC is the best but it was all so delicious! I also want to take a moment and thank our cashier. I didn't get their name but they had short, ginger, curly hair and they were the BEST! Great vibes, recommendations, and chit chat!! GIVE THEM A RAISE IMMEDIATELY :)

I don't think that there is a wall that dosnt have some positive affirmation of sorts. It has a very authentic feel, and a maximalism approach. The air condition works just fine on a summer day but I did opt for the outdoor seating. The messages on the window are what the community needs to hear, "You are Loved" and "slow the frick down". This place really seems all inclusive. I was impressed that there IS a baby changing table in the bathroom. We tried the iced mocha, lemonade, and peach parfait that was left, because a lot was sold out. The iced mocha didn't stand out to me, but maybe that because I do like my coffee on the sweater side. The lemonade was wonderful, tasted "home made" without any pulp. We did add some of the simple syrup that was available on the table to sweeten it up just a bit. The peach parfait was great, there were pumpkin seeds in the granola which has inspired me to try and make my own. Their stickers are humorous!

I was expecting a bit more than just breakfast sandwiches in terms of food, but that is all the counter staff told us about. Later I saw people with baked goods but those weren't mentioned or visible for us to peruse. Our breakfast sandwiches were pretty average, and the coffee was just okay as well. I tried the Carrot Cake Latte and it had a hint of that flavor, but I definitely wanted a little more. The vibe is very hipster, from the bicycle crowd to the vegan folks and would really only work in a neighborhood like Riverwest!

My friend and I were looking forward to trying their sandwiches but were disappointed to find out that they ran out of bread. We ended up getting their rosemary scones, which was pretty good. It wasn't too crumbly and reminded me of red lobsters biscuits. We also got the matcha flight and the rebirth matcha. The matcha flight was $16 and honestly not worth it. It came with the rebirth matcha, strawberry rose, and mango matcha. The only one that tasted good was the rebirth matcha. The floral keys blended very nicely with the matcha. The services wasn't the best. It felt like I was inconveniencing the staff when I was ordering, asking questions, or sitting and chatting with my friend. A very unwelcoming vibe, like they wanted us to order and leave. I really do love the ambiance here and heard so many great things about their sandwiches that I'm willing to comeback but I'm not exactly in a rush to come back.

Welcome to a classic scenario of "you get what you pay for" in the form of a high quality coffee…read moreshop. This might be my favorite coffee shop in Milwaukee, but the overall experience might leave you more satisfied than anything else. The environment is modern with touches of vintage as the space is clearly set in an older building with upgrades and decor to match the current period. The seating options are comfy and the space is open. The front windows offer tons of natural light to make the space invigorating and fresh. It's hard to find a pour over coffee anymore because of the time and commitment involved in proper preparation. This place not only offers it but you can choose from over 20 options for this beverage! I went with a delightful cup of Ethiopian bliss and my heart was full. The prices are slightly high for the market and service is a bit slower compared to your typical shop. It was so full that, if it weren't for the magic of surface tension, there would have been a big puddle on the saucer and table. Atmosphere: Despite how busy it was, we were able to get a table. Unfortunately, the table wobbled because the legs were uneven. That was a bit of a challenge with my overfilled mocha, but some napkins fixed the problem. If I were going to nitpick, I'd also mention that the Wi-Fi is really slow.
