    Melon Bomb
    Namitha Y.

Ok guys, you've absolutely got to check out Setlan. They have an amazing lineup of seasonal flavors that you won't even believe. #fruitmeetscoffee After taking like over 10 minutes to make a decision, I finally decided on the Melon Bomb! Think cold coffee, then bam, watermelon cold foam and watermelon sugar on top. It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Who would've thought this random combination would actually be so good. You taste the espresso, but still get hints of the melony flavor. My friend tried the bramble which was a latte mixed with housemade blackberry and lemon syrup. Yeah, I know, coffee with blackberry and lemon might sound weird, but trust me, it was sooooo good!!! Setlan used to hang out in a food truck on San Marco, but they've recently switched things up and now they're rocking it at MOCA. And let's be real, sipping on a coffee while strolling through the museum? Idk about you, but that sounds like a great time to me.

This coffee shop is inside the MOMA to the right when you go in the main entrance. Friendly service and we didn't wait long for our drinks. Really tasty seasonal options available. Decent prices in comparison to other coffee shops. This one is worth a visit even if you're not going to the museum.

Quick coffee stop while visiting the museum. I got an iced coconut matcha($6). It was sweet and had a good balance of matcha and coconut flavors. Barista was very nice. Drink(50%): 8.0 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 6.6 Overall: 7.4/10

Stopped in during our exploration of downtown Jax which is still reeling through typical downtown issues. Seltan shares space with The Art Center which makes for a refined and somewhat austere architectural vibe. The hot latte and iced latte both with oat milk were good and straightforward. Couldn't tell if there was any artful presence because it was served in paper cup with lid although I ordered it for 'here'. OMG The chocolate chip cookie looked good and was OUTSTANDING and a perfect complement! A few students were spread out working on laptops ..and not working... occupying most of the tables. I get the coffee shop experience yet they could benefit by adding more functional seating. The connected art gallery seating is for team functions only we were told. Overall, a

Brand spanking new location!! I was way to excited to come to the new location. Same great product and service. I ordered the gateway my usual order, I also ordered a sausage and jalapeño sandwich but didn't take a picture.

My personal coffee spot favorite in JAX while they were still in the trailer. So glad they have a brick and mortar location! Tucked to the right at the front entrance of MOCA -- they have their straightforward menu with seasonal offerings. Seasonal lattes are creative and not overly sweet. I recently tried the white rose which was a white rose mocha with rose syrup. My husband really enjoyed his Bramble latte which was flavored with blackberry and lemon. The provide some baked goods from BREW in Five Points. The cafe area has a decent amount of seating for those who want to linger.

Great new coffee spot inside MOCA right in the heart of downtown! I know Setlan has been around for a while, but moving into this space is a fantastic addition to the area. Cold brew and hot coffee are both great, and they turn out a great cappuccino. (I'm not so sure about the funky combinations of stuff like rose and lavender with coffee, but I'm guessing I'm not the target audience.) baked good are outstanding as well. Prices are quite good, and the service is quick and friendly. Bonus points for the beautiful space with ample seating - this is now the top option to sit and work with some coffee downtown.

I knew they would move in to a brick & mortar some day in the near future. I love the place! I came the day before the soft opening which will be tomorrow(04/20/23. I am so happy for you. Inside of the museum is a good move. Nice place, coffee and people. Thank you, Goldie

Loved this new location under the Jacksonville Library - I'd been to their San Marco food truck styled location before but got a chance to be one of the first customers in the new spot! The service was amazing (as always) everyone so personable + seemed excited to be there. It's such a great spot for remote workers (like myself) or to students as there's lots of seating and lounge spots. There's also a park right outside if you want to take a stroll and get some fresh air. I got an iced vanilla latte and cinnamon roll and they were both so good - something so simple as having a real glass for my coffee made me so happy. I'm a firm believer that coffee tastes better in a real glass.

The coffee here was on point and I'm picky as I ordered my usual brew with cream n sugar. Nothing fake or light but just right. The coffee stand area is calming with plants and cute outdoor decor and perfect for a visit on Beautiful Florida day. Tyler the owner was the best surprise. He's so full of great conversation and is excited about his coffees and so thankful for all who patronize. It's easy as you just want to help him succeed. I had to take home some beans to keep my week going strong. Now I know he's back here I will definitely stop by for more...

What a great small business to support. The prices included the tax so you could see the complete cost up front and were very affordable. Not to mention the owner was kind, informative and efficient when creating our ordered beverages. The atmosphere as well was nice. I had the mocha latte and loved the hearts on top. What a great touch. I can't wait to take my new coffee beans home and try them out tomorrow. Definitely a place to come and try soon. They offer pickup or you can sit at the outdoor table area and hang out.

Looking for a coffee shop in downtown Jacksonville. Found Setlan not too far away. I could get my morning walk in and coffee at the same time. I didn't realize it was inside an art museum. Pretty cool. I had the blueberry lemon latte and the barista told me it was like biting into a blueberry lemon donut. Man he wasn't wrong. It was great!! I also had a kolache breakfast sandwich with sausage. It was tasty!! Nice folks, good ambiance and great service.

In the mood to meet the best latte you've ever had? I ordered the vanilla as this is what I order when I end up in the Starbucks or Dunkin' drive thru. But.. This place just may have changed the game. Let me start off by saying the owner is amazing. His personality and vibe were so energetic and happy. Had my mood been sour before arriving, the vibe alone would've made my day better. He seemed to really have a passion for his business. Now, the latte may seem cliche but since I normally order this elsewhere, I figured I had to compare something I was very familiar with. This latte was amazing, tasteful, and had something extra to it that was just not the norm. I loved the views. There's a lot of art to look at and cute tables to sit and enjoy your coffee in the fresh air. I'm glad I stopped in and I'll definitely be back to try the lavender latte.

It's the kind of coffee shop where you can grab a great cup of coffee, sit down for a bit, and actually enjoy the atmosphere. The space feels modern but relaxed, making it a nice spot whether you're meeting a friend, catching up on some work, or just taking a break from the day. The coffee here is excellent. You can tell they take their beans and roasting seriously. The espresso drinks are smooth, rich, and full of flavor without being overly bitter. They also have a nice selection of specialty drinks if you're in the mood to try something a little different. They offer a good variety of breakfast items and pastries as well, which pair perfectly with the coffee. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared--simple but done right. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly service. The staff is welcoming and efficient, and the overall energy of the place feels very positive. It's also convenient that they have a drive-thru if you're in a hurry. All in all, Brass Tacks Coffee is one of those local spots that keeps people coming back. Great coffee, good food, and a relaxed environment make it an easy recommendation if you're in the Jacksonville Southside area.

This was my first time really giving matcha a fair shot, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. The flavor was earthy and nutty, really smooth and comforting. I personally didn't taste much cherry or vanilla, but the matcha itself was good enough that I didn't mind at all. Service was pretty standard--quick, friendly, and easy, which is exactly what you want when you're grabbing a drink and settling in. What I loved most was the atmosphere. It's such a good mix of people--some working, some chatting, some just enjoying their coffee. There are plenty of outlets, lots of space, and it's definitely one of those spots where you can bring your laptop and actually get things done without feeling awkward or rushed. They also have food if you plan on staying awhile, which is always a plus. Overall, Southern Grounds feels like one of those dependable coffee shops you keep in your rotation--good drinks, comfortable vibes, and a great place to park yourself for a few hours. I'd definitely come back... and yes, I'd order matcha again.

Regardless of where you park, you better be good at 3 point turns and parking bc you will be doing one to get into or out of your parking spot. Upon entering the business, I was greeted and was surprised to learn they serve dark roast coffee this late in the day. The seating area is divided into two sides separated by the counter and kitchen. I opted for a dark roast with cream in a mug. Took my number and looked for a two top table among the mix of high school study groups, after school snacks and business meetings. Coffee came quickly and was hot and bold. No real complaints other than parking.
