Save your time and money...this restaurant does not value your time and your business. Order counter was unorganized, you could easily cut someone in line (on accident) because you don't know where the line starts or ends. We ordered in person for take out and my order was simple, House noodles and Won ton soup. It was during the peak hours (6:00p) so the 20-25 minute wait time that was given during ordering was completely understandable. There was a good flow of customers, dining in, picking up, door dash orders, etc...6:35p came around and order not ready. Waited a little bit...6:40p server says they're just waiting for the Lo Mein Noodles . 15 minutes later, 6:55p, our number is FINALLY called and I discreetly shared with the server, (showed her my receipt too confirming order time) I waited almost an hour. . Sesames kitchen is a small but classy Chinese/Asian restaurant that offers variety of delicious food. It's one of my favorites in the foothills. We especially enjoyed their sesame chicken and Beef with broccoli. A lot of Chinese food establishments in the area seem to make us feel bloated and gross, but we noticed that Sesame's Kitchen leaves us satisfied and delighted without making us feel gross afterward. As a long time resident of this hell hole of a town I haven't found very many restaurants that I would say are good. This place is awful. Went in for take out and the gentleman at the counter told me to hurry up in case someone gets behind me. There was no one else ordering and everyone else was dining in and eating. I ordered the chicken curry. The portion of rice was tiny. The "chicken" did not look or taste like chicken. Scary. There was also fried tofu in the meal which was not advertised. I know options are limited in Yuma but Panda Express is a much better option compared to this place. Not bad but I've ordered sautéed veggies and rice and got a VERY skimpy amount of veggies. You'd think since veggies are cheap they'd give you a decent portion since you're paying the same as any other entree. I haven't been back since I had that experience. read more

Definitely a cheap place to go when u are in dire need of Chinese food. I ordered fried wantons, wanton soup, shrimp and fried rice. All of this has mediocre flavor but it was good enough for it price. The only thing I didn't like was their gen. tso's chx. It had an after taste when u bite in the chicken. I hated that the owner was so in denial about her food , saying that it could have been the onion and it was not. Pre-cooked or not, it doesn't affect the taste. and WOW. The food tastes amazing and their prices are cheap. Cheaper than panda express which by the way tastes much more bland compared to here. I live right behind this shopping center and I ALWAYS want to come here to eat. It's an awesome cozy little spot with various types of seating including chairs and couch style booths in the back. I've long thought that restaurants where seniors go, tend to cook blah food, seniors don't care, seniors eat anything put in front of them and so-so meal is alright for a senior citizen. Sort of like institutional food. Well that this place. An hour and a half is a long time in a Chinese restaurant. Took forever. It was mush, soggy broccoli beef drowning in a soy based sauce. The Kung Pao Chicken was like nothing I've seen before. So much sauce, drowned whatever they put in it. Soggy. The Lipton iced tea in the bottle was good. Vietnamese egg roll was fried and tasteless. Staff seemed very disorganized and didn't communicate much with customers or the cook. Was a wasted evening with my wife on date night.
