He was able to do the hose and washer dryer within just a few hours - he was very efficient. He came by the following week to do the gas water heater install. We were really happy with this work, efficiency, and fair pricing. Everything he did is working well and I don't doubt he'll be there to help if anything were to go wrong. I was not present in 2024 but my tenants had only good things to say about the experience. Now that the rental is vacant, I was present this time. Again, nothing but good things to say. Anthony is super responsive to emails. He does not hesitate to provide a written estimate. I do not trust a business that will not provide a written estimate. Anthony secured the required COI, and he and the two technicians arrived a few minutes early. We had a great conversation as the techs removed and replaced the drain assembly in 50 minutes or less. I had attempted to complete the replacement myself, I am a DIY kind of gal, but could not even begin to remove the lock nut beneath the basin. I thought the basin would need to be unmounted from the wall, but no, it did not. I was impressed with the ease and speed at which the replacement was completed. I will certainly contract with Infinity Maintenance again. I found the cost to be reasonable as I understand Anthony is running a for profit business and must pay his team.

The estimate went well until on the day of appointment. This guy Anthony was super rude and gave me lecture when I text and called him at the appointment window, lectured me and told me apologize is not enough and I have to explain to him why I think I need to apologize. He became very scary at the point. At that time I already thought about canceling the job and he is obviously not the only handyman in the area. But since I drove all the way from mid Jersey to Jersey City for this appointment, I did what he wished and " confessed" my mistake. After that I patiently waited for him in the car, he cancelled the appointment when the appointment window is almost ended, stating his " gut feeling" is not right. He could have simply said he couldn't make it to the appointment rather than going into this dramatic show and traumatize me after already wasted my time. And to reply to his reply, I said he can use the "side door" b/c he said he is concerned that the front desk will not let him in. It was a Saturday and front desk is usually a weekend staff who is not as experienced so to not risk him not able to enter I kindly offered to open the side door for him( this is the entrance that is closest to elevator and garage and has accessible entrance which we usually use) it has nothing to do with the management. In reality I myself entered through the main gate and already let the front desk know. And I told him we can enter through main gate after he said he wants to cancel for " gut feeling". I even text him to explain but he refused my call and ignore my text. On the other hand, he raised his concern at 11ish on the appointment day and I said he can go through the side door but he didn't say anything about it. Our appointment window was 1-1:30 and he canceled the appointment at 1:20 without a call to even discuss the matter. Again, nothing could explain his extreme yelling at 1pm when I tried to tell his I have arrived, at which time he did not mention anything about he was concerned about the side door. I wasted 50 mins drive+ 20 mins waiting on a Saturday. This is not including the time my tenant set aside for him. Seriously consider this review if you want to hire him.

BlueStone spends the same time on site as other services I've used that send one person, but they send a small team and it shows. I prefer to leave a lockbox out so I don't have to coordinate to be there. The first time I called they didn't have availability at the last minute so I went with another service, but after not being satisfied I called back Carmen and here I am almost two years later.

A carpenter they sent will be making the small patches. I'm relieved that they didn't have to go through the tiles in the shower or anyplace that would be expensive to patch. However, on Black Friday when everyone else was enjoying the holidays LA Design showed up. Within an hour they had the house boarded up and told us, "Don't worry about a thing, we will handle everything." Those words would turn out to be their mantra the entire process of the rebuild. Their knowledge of the insurance process made it possible to secure every penny available to us by our insurance company without issue. Even when we ran into trouble with our bank issuing funds, they did not stop work like other companies would have for non-payment. LA Design kept working and knew exactly how to handle the situation. They just went above and beyond for everything. The work that they do is outstanding. They are true craftsmen and employ some of the best workers around. The house they built for us is truly beautiful and we couldn't say enough about it. During the construction we rented a house nearby, allowing us to stop in at any time to check on the progress and nearly every time Larry Jr. or Larry Sr. were on site. In the rare chance they were not there, if we called with questions they would make it a priority to stop by. Larry Jr. and Larry Sr. didn't see this as constructing just a house for us, but building our home. They understood the pain we were going through and actually listened to everything we had to say. The owner, Larry is a super nice guy and he is very knowledgeable, reasonable and helpful. He was the main reason we hired them to remodel our kitchen, then our basement, our 2nd floor bathroom, our garage and our porch. The only issues with this company is that they lack communication between teams, a lot of the contractors they use make things worse and then they have to bring in someone else to fix those mistakes. But they do it, they fix the mistakes. It might take 6 months for it to get done, but if you nag them enough they eventually get to it. For example; we had them order custom windows and front door for our house. "Custom" means that they measure the opening and order something exactly that size. Well, when our custom windows came, they were all too small, so the contractors just added molding as a space filler. Now they're smaller than the originals. But we were very upset about this, as expected. So, for the last 3 months we've been awaiting the installation of the correct size windows. One great thing is that when they quote you a price, it's very reasonable. You don't get a ton of sticker shock with them. And they tend to stay at or below the quoted price. You just have to stay on top of them, constantly.
