I have contracted with Infinity Maintenance twice now, first in the Spring of 2024 to remove two toilets and install the new ones I purchased, then again this week to remove an old drain assembly in a pedestal sink and install the new pop-up drain. I was not present in 2024 but my tenants had only good things to say about the experience. Now that the rental is vacant, I was present this time. Again, nothing but good things to say. Anthony is super responsive to emails. He does not hesitate to provide a written estimate. I do not trust a business that will not provide a written estimate. Anthony secured the required COI, and he and the two technicians arrived a few minutes early. We had a great conversation as the techs removed and replaced the drain assembly in 50 minutes or less. I had attempted to complete the replacement myself, I am a DIY kind of gal, but could not even begin to remove the lock nut beneath the basin. I thought the basin would need to be unmounted from the wall, but no, it did not. I was impressed with the ease and speed at which the replacement was completed. I will certainly contract with Infinity Maintenance again. I found the cost to be reasonable as I understand Anthony is running a for profit business and must pay his team. read more

Horrible experience! We had a small issue to fix in our rental apartment in Jersey City and I got the contact of this business through a friend. The estimate went well until on the day of appointment. This guy Anthony was super rude and gave me lecture when I text and called him at the appointment window, lectured me and told me apologize is not enough and I have to explain to him why I think I need to apologize. He became very scary at the point. At that time I already thought about canceling the job and he is obviously not the only handyman in the area. But since I drove all the way from mid Jersey to Jersey City for this appointment, I did what he wished and " confessed" my mistake. After that I patiently waited for him in the car, he cancelled the appointment when the appointment window is almost ended, stating his " gut feeling" is not right. He could have simply said he couldn't make it to the appointment rather than going into this dramatic show and traumatize me after already wasted my time. And to reply to his reply, I said he can use the "side door" b/c he said he is concerned that the front desk will not let him in. It was a Saturday and front desk is usually a weekend staff who is not as experienced so to not risk him not able to enter I kindly offered to open the side door for him( this is the entrance that is closest to elevator and garage and has accessible entrance which we usually use) it has nothing to do with the management. In reality I myself entered through the main gate and already let the front desk know. And I told him we can enter through main gate after he said he wants to cancel for " gut feeling". I even text him to explain but he refused my call and ignore my text. On the other hand, he raised his concern at 11ish on the appointment day and I said he can go through the side door but he didn't say anything about it. Our appointment window was 1-1:30 and he canceled the appointment at 1:20 without a call to even discuss the matter. Again, nothing could explain his extreme yelling at 1pm when I tried to tell his I have arrived, at which time he did not mention anything about he was concerned about the side door. I wasted 50 mins drive+ 20 mins waiting on a Saturday. This is not including the time my tenant set aside for him. Seriously consider this review if you want to hire him. read more

Horrible quality work performed on remodeling/alteration work performed in my house. The work was performed in 2014 and I am still going through the consequences. Had to completely rebuild a shower cabin. They installed a granite top in my kitchen which is not symmetrical. One side is too short and it is visibly horrible. Anthony is the best contractor I've worked with. He has helped me with multiple repairs to my condo, from small repairs to closets and doors to large repairs to address major leaks. He is very responsive and helpful, and all of his projects have been completed on time and with complete satisfaction. I had a major problem with a leak coming in from a deck above my unit. While other owners in my building were having trouble getting contractors to respond to them and take care of critical work, Anthony was always responsive and worked with me to quickly put together estimates and arrange start dates. He did a great job diagnosing the problem and completing the work, including coordinating with other contractors and the renter occupying the unit. I was able to get a hold of Anthony on a Friday and he came Monday. He efficiently did the small repairs in the bathroom and also gave an honest answer about the back porch door possible repair. I hope to hire them again in the future! After this work, I requested an estimate which was not easy to get as he admitted he was treating me poorly because he thought I was someone else, but he finally came out and did the estimate and we set up a time for him to do the work. The day he was supposed to come, instead of calling to notify me he was canceling because of the weather, I had to call him. He then rescheduled. Then he showed up 2 hours late. I understood perhaps 30 to 40 minutes late, especially since he left the other job early and had to pick up paint for me, but nevertheless, they came and got started but finished quietly without telling me and packed up. I had to come out and discuss with him while they were packing the car and then I found he didn't finish the painting (and tried to act like I was asking him to paint another side of the wall) and also did not complete another job with adding a line to keep condensation from damaging the wood from a pipe. He then started lecturing me and became pretty scary, then said something about doing the work pro bono, claimed he was going to get his supplies to do the painting, and then left without telling me (I saw his van speeding up the street). Would not take my call. Lesson learned: don't hire such an angry person with a big attitude. Very scary to have in your home too! read more

Horrible work and horrible attitude. I hired them to build two walls and a door to add a bedroom. The work was a mess. When doing the construction, they didn't cover my furniture and bed well. When I requested, they used and reused dirty plastic film to partially cover the bed. The floor was not protected. They ruined my newly refinished floor with dry wall dusts. I saw that the dust was not cleaned well when they completed the job but thought that I could clean it myself instead of asking too much from them. But later I found that the dry wall dust got into the grains of the wood and I don't know how to deal with it. I asked Anthony to come back to clean the dust professionally. At that point, he already received the full payment and he denied there was dust and said that I had no right to tell him how to do his job to cover things and protect them. He said that his job was excellent and I was making it up. But everyone went through dry wall building once would know about the dust problem. Anthony was the liar and a problem denier. He got more evil when I requested him to check and clean. I couldn't deal with his dark energy anymore and had to leave the dust in the wood. The measurement of the wall and door was not good. The new wall squeezed and caused cracks in my existing door, and the double French door was not set even. The lock in the French door was not installed properly and later I had to rework on the lock. Another big problem is that they didn't inform me about applying for a work permit and didn't apply for it with the city. When I was selling the condo I went through a lot of trouble with the permit issue and it caused serious delay for the sale. The city permit worker couldn't find Infinity Maintenance in their system and questioned if they are qualified to do the job. Clearly they are NOT qualified at all. read more

These guys are top notch! I emailed them with a description of the issues i needed resolved. They called the morning of the appointment to let us know they were on their way. Showed up tools in hand and ready to go, measured holes and assessed further needs. They laid down protective cloth and plastic. Repaired hole with drywall. several layers of plaster, sanded and replaced base moulding. Cleaned up asked if we were satisfied with the work. professional and skilled.
