The bathroom had the most awful, early 80's, peach colored shower enclosure, I could not live with - and the counter was much too short. The backyard had a large lawn and a small deck - it was crying out for a more useful space for entertaining. My street generates a lot of traffic noise and I needed something to help reduce it. I also wanted an attractive trash/recycling bin deck, close to the street, for convenience. I looked for reviews and Emerald Valley Home Repair popped up. I like licenses and BBB ratings - Ted has them. He was professional in his walk through and intelligent, creative and confident with his advice and ideas - that he quickly put me to ease with his clear rapport I chose Ted Colee. My new larger kitchen space includes my necessary dishwasher and a couple new cabinets and sparkles with quartz counter tops throughout. He also replaced the lighting. The bathroom shower panels were removed and replaced with new bright white tiles. The deck steps down to a circular stone patio that allows for more entertaining and several large potted plants. I worked with Ted on ideas for the front driveway and we came up with a spectacular walled in - shingled and planter deck. It looks fantastic and provides more privacy in my front yard and most importantly, has reduced the road noise. The shingled trash/recycling/green-waste bin deck has a drop down ramp gate: So convenient! This was a series of jobs that effectively have turned this house into my home. Knowledge, skill, dependability, trust and respect are all vital in building that working relationship and creativity and flexibility complete the package. They came out the day after we called, used imaging equipment to let us know where the water was, and gave us a quote and options immediately. The tech who came out (Elmer) was very friendly, professional and honest. He could have said the damage was worse--we wouldn't have known the difference--and charged us a small fortune in repairs, but instead he was honest and let us know exactly what was needed. The piece of mind he gave us was much appreciated. We were worried about mold but he said we did everything right by fixing the roof, pulling out the insulation and opening it up to dry. All we have to do is replace some drywall. I appreciate an honest company. If (God forbid) we have another issue with water, we will definitely use Servpro.

I look forward to his work in the near future. I am disappointed with the majority of contractors not giving you the light of day. I hope he becomes my permanent contractor, because like others. I am disappointed in 1/2 the contractors listed on Yelp, or Google, they are flakes.  Don't worry, you'll find out.  I already spoke to previous customers from other contractors I called.  They described these fly by nights and how they got ripped off, very sad. Chris is always early to arrive,  Returns calls, and answers the phone.  Save your time and money and receive some honest and professional work. Hire someone that shows up early, displays expert craftsmanship and is patient and as easy going as Chris and crew.  I wouldn't care if it takes a month to get this man.  I will wait, and know the quality work and friendly service still respects the average Joe.  We just want some construction work to get done.  No, it's not too much to ask, so call this guy.

Second day they were here for 6 hours including a lunch and I let them know I was expecting a better cleaning. The following day, the tech that first bid the job came out, took pictures and said he apologized for them not meeting our expectations. 1 week later we get a bill for an additional $1000.00. When we first agree to have them clean they gave a maximum price with us paying 1/2 up front. No mention was made when he checked their work of money due.

His work was excellent quality and he showed me how the leak I had was properly fixed so it would not leak again, which gave me great confidence in his work. After finishing the work, everything was cleaned up spotless.
