We placed our trust -- and our hard-earned savings -- into this company to help improve our home. What we received in return was a deeply unprofessional, chaotic, and in some cases, harmful experience. Despite paying in full and on time at every stage, the project was riddled with delays, excuses, and blame-shifting. The contractor abruptly stopped showing up before the work was complete. When we asked for accountability, we were met not with solutions, but with legal threats designed to silence our valid concerns. It's unacceptable behavior toward any customer -- let alone a disabled veteran trying to care for a young family. Health and safety were also blatantly ignored. Drywall was installed over mold-contaminated carpet, and no precautions were taken to protect our belongings while we were actively living in the home. Our kitchen was left coated in drywall dust -- on dishes, cookware, and food -- and the excuse offered was that "some customers let us know they want things covered." That level of carelessness speaks volumes. The final straw was hearing one of their team members openly admit he needed to watch YouTube tutorials on-site to figure out how to install parts of our project. Leadership failed to manage or intervene, and communication was evasive throughout. The owner, Jason, seemed more concerned with talking about his personal vacations than resolving issues. Other staff, while occasionally present, were unreliable and inconsistent. This review is not written lightly. I believe contractors should be held to the same ethical and professional standards we expect in any field. Prestige Statewide did not meet that bar. If you are a veteran, a person of color, or a family trying to protect your home, I strongly urge you to choose another company. We were left with unfinished work, health hazards, and attempts to intimidate us into silence. This isn't just about poor service. They came out the day after we called, used imaging equipment to let us know where the water was, and gave us a quote and options immediately. The tech who came out (Elmer) was very friendly, professional and honest. He could have said the damage was worse--we wouldn't have known the difference--and charged us a small fortune in repairs, but instead he was honest and let us know exactly what was needed. The piece of mind he gave us was much appreciated. We were worried about mold but he said we did everything right by fixing the roof, pulling out the insulation and opening it up to dry. All we have to do is replace some drywall. I appreciate an honest company. If (God forbid) we have another issue with water, we will definitely use Servpro.

Called again a couple of days later. Still no response. Tried a third time. No call back. I drove out to the showroom a few days later and found it closed and empty. DREYCO had moved out. Managed to track down Tanners mother to find he had moved into a warehouse complex off W.11th. When I arrived the place looked abandoned and the only sign that anything was going on as a small sign on one of the windows. I dug up some other phone numbers and still no call back. I Finally managed make contact with Ceasar to inform him that I had hired another contractor to do the job and wanted a refund. Ceasar agreed and said he would have refund check in the mail on a few days. It arrived a few days later, but failed to cash. Insuffient funds. That was the end of Februay. I'm still holding a bad check on 3/25/2024. I tried to make contact today but no one arrived at the new warehouse location. Next step. . . . Maybe the DA's office to file a formal complaint. I hope I don't have to do that.
