May of 2018 we had a flood due in our utility room due to a water heater leak. WVR came in and…read moreseemed to know exactly what they were doing. They had the room in plastic, dryers, and brought in the people to do the work to put the room back together which included replacing dry wall, flooring, cabinets, etc. For weeks the work did not begin and and repeated attempts to contact them resulted in, 'Mike's not in, he'll call you back'. Calls were consistently unreturned. In one successful contact with Mike, who was the project manager, he told us that the flooring had not come in and that's why they hadn't started the job. We called the flooring company and they said that he had not ordered it. From the time that work did begin, it was a nightmare.Mike provided no plans to us or his workers, he mismeasured so that the work they began was not possible to complete (this was caught by a worker who, within a day was let go for some reason- he was a skilled worker) He and another man had to come over and restructure the plan. The workers did good work at first, but Mike was never available and so the work would get held up. When they installed the water heater they did not fill the tank before starting it up so it burned out the element. The work was not completed until Nove 5th, no plans or itemized list was ever provided. We had to get the itemized list of work from the insurance adjustor. The bill was paid by insurance and extra work contracted for the job was paid by us in full. Just last month, we discovered a leak again. Our water heater closet was swollen shut and the replaced drywall work inside the house adjacent to the closet was cracked (18", 7" long, 1/4" wide), in the seams. WVR claimed that the cracks were the result of "the house settling" and they claimed no responsibility for their workers' installation of the water heater. When we contacted our insurance company as when we could expect the work to begin (WVR would not return our calls), our insurance adjuster reported that Mike had told him, "Why should I do the work when they still haven't paid me?" This, of course, was a shock, and threatened our reputation and credibility with our insurance company. Mike had claimed WVR they had widened our doors and completed other work for which they were not paid. This is patently false- no such work was ever done. WVR front office confirms that all bills to us have been paid in full. Mike slandered us to our insurance company. I do not know what struggles WVR are having as a company or if this is just their business model, but we still have black mold in our house and are trying to get a resolution for the condition Willamette Valley Restoration has left our home. We can't get back the time, stress and frustration of having dealt with such an unprofessional, shoddy company over the past 10 months.

I have used WVR two times for repairs and they have been amazing both times. The first was when my…read morebusiness flooded (a toilet ran for 2 weeks while we were out of the office, destroying all of the flooring and flooding the basement with all my important documents.) I called WVR immediately and they were able to send out someone right away. They coordinated with my insurance so I didn't have to think about any of it. They had great people who redid our original soft wood fir floors and restored them to like new. And, most importantly, they had the right equipment to dry out my documents so they were still usable. Out of 30 boxes worth of papers, only 1 and a half were not back to "usable" condition. The second time I used them, I had a leaky pipe around my shower that I didn't know was leaking inside the wall until I noticed a huge wet area on the ceiling in our dining room below. Again, they came over immediately and got started. With the sensors they had, they were able to tell where the water started and stopped in the ceiling and only cut out what they needed to. For about a week, it looked like the movie ET in our house with plastic wrap everywhere to cordon off the parts where they were working! We were still able to use all the other areas and they did not interfere with our daily lives. When they restored the ceiling, they matched our heavy plaster "design" in the ceiling to the point that you cannot tell what is old and what is new. I've been impressed both times we've used them. Easy to work with, fast and efficient, and all the special equipment to get the job done.

Review for David Craig - Innovative Underground (Eugene, OR)…read moreAfter eight years of living with a stubborn drainage problem, I had nearly given up. Two of our roof gutters fed into a 65-foot underground line that was supposed to carry rainwater to the street -- but something deep under our concrete walkway and patio was badly clogged. I spent months working with two different companies, each promising solutions that never worked. After four costly attempts, I still had overflowing gutters, water pooling near our foundation, and a growing sense of frustration. Then I called David Craig at Innovative Underground, and everything changed. From the very first consultation -- which was detailed, thoughtful, and worth every penny -- David impressed me as a creative idea-guy with vast experience and true integrity. He looked at my situation and saw several possible paths to success that I never would've imagined. His final design was simple, smart, and permanent: a trench and a new piping system leading to a pop-up emitter, placed well away from the house to disperse roof runoff safely. David was on-site the entire day with his assistant Jay, personally ensuring that every connection, slope, and joint fit ideally. They worked cleanly, efficiently, and with genuine care for my property. It's rare to see that level of professionalism and craftsmanship today. The results speak for themselves: both gutters now drain flawlessly into the new emitter system, even in the heaviest Oregon rain. The stress and worry that consumed me all summer are finally gone -- replaced by real peace of mind. David is honest, caring, innovative, and thorough. He offers options rather than pressure, listens rather than assumes, and brings decades of experience to every decision. Whether you hire him for a whole project or just a consultation, his insight is worth your investment. I highly recommend Innovative Underground to anyone facing drainage challenges. David Craig is exactly the professional you hope to find -- ethical, experienced, and genuinely committed to solving problems the right way.

He and his crew worked on our vapor barrier under our house when we first purchased it. We were very pleased with the job he did then back in 2019. We hired him recently to fix a cracked ceramic sewage pipe, they installed a drain out and a new pipe. They did a great job, and I recommend them highly. David is a very easy-going and professional person and easy to work with. I will hire him again for any work that needs to be done "under" the house . Troy Krusenstjerna.

I was so pleased with the professionalism by Kevin Cohen Plumbing from their scheduler to their two plumbers, Nate and Zach, who were dispatched to my house. Luckily it turned out that the cause of my leak wasn't a leaking roof but actually caused by a build up of leaves and tree debris causing water to be backlogged and forced up under my shingles. They informed me of this and saved me from having to do anything besides jumping on my roof and clearing it all away. After a few hours of clearing everything, it was good as new and now I know not to allow this debris to sit on my roof during rainy season. I highly recommend High Ridge Roofing for all of your roof repair needs! Thanks for all your help!

Roofcraft is the absolute last company I would ever recommend for anything related to roof repair…read moreor remediation. They charged us $800 for a tarp job that was done so poorly it still leaked, leading to secondary water damage that could have been completely avoided. Their incompetence cost us far more than just money--it caused unnecessary stress and additional repairs. Their project manager, Jason, is dismissive and talks over you anytime you try to address concerns, refusing to take ownership of their mistakes. Even after openly admitting fault, he continued to deflect responsibility. As for the owner, Brandon, he completely disengaged from the situation rather than standing behind his company's work--showing a complete lack of ethics, accountability, and professionalism. If you need roofing services, do yourself a favor and look ANYWHERE else. Roofcraft is not a company that values integrity or quality, and they will leave you dealing with the consequences of their failures. EDIT (3/7/25): After several bouts of correspondence, the owner and myself came to a mutual arrangement which satisfied the aforementioned.
