The founder, Elmer "Rich" Richardson, and his business partner, Ron Rusk, are an indispensable part of our business, giving us the peace of mind that comes from knowing that we have a secure and well-functioning internet system. In 2013 Uncommon Good made the transition from a small three room space to a new 2,500 square foot office. Prior to the move we had been using an internet system suitable for a home office. With our move and growth in size, we needed to convert to a professional system with greater capacity and security. The transition was complicated for us by the fact that our new office was a first-of-its-kind-in-the-world green building. While this was wonderful, it also presented unique challenges for creating an internet system that would work in the unconventional structure. An additional complication is that my staff ranges in age from people in their twenties to those in their sixties, and from those who are adept with technology to those who know almost nothing about it. Lastly, we needed a system that would work for the daily professional needs of the staff, and also would be used by the high school students we counsel, without compromising office security or confidentiality. The Esystems founder, Elmer "Rich" Richardson, along with his business partner, Ron Rusk, designed a system that worked beautifully for us. They installed the system, trained us all to use it optimally, and have been our consultants ever since that time. As part of being our technical advisors, Rich and Ron have suggested improvements and upgrades to our system and equipment that I would never have known about otherwise, but that have proved to be wonderful helps for improving our work efficiency and capacity. Knowing that we are a nonprofit organization that serves low-income children and families, they also have been sensitive to our costs, and have at times given us spare equipment or parts, even free of charge or at a significantly reduced rate. On a personal note, as the Executive Director of Uncommon Good, I work long hours, often in the evenings and on weekends. When I have a technical problem at an inconvenient time, such as Sunday evening, Rich has always been available by text to guide me through it. He knows how to explain even the most technical jargon in a way that I can comprehend. On the occasions when we have had blackouts or other technological emergencies, Rich has always been prompt in coming to our aid. In addition, he is quick to answer our questions about the handling of any suspicious emails, and keep us informed about computer viruses that are circulating. I can say with confidence that Esystems 24/7 security and disaster recovery management has significantly reduced threats to our data. In addition to managing our internet access, Rich and Ron have given us invaluable assistance in upgrading our computers and our business software, ensuring that we have reliable, quality equipment and software to keep our organization current and competitive. Lastly, I would like to note that it has been a great pleasure getting to know Rich and Ron. They are gracious, kind, honest, intelligent, and perfectly lovely human beings with whom it is a pleasure to work. They truly are a blessing to our organization and our mission.

The project took way longer than it was supposed to, but I would've been okay with that had he honored his warranty and stood by his work. He offered his own warranty in addition to what consumers are legally entitled to by the CSLB. When my cameras went offline, he had me spend hours and hours with the manufacturer tech support before he was willing to even consider looking at them. It took months to get him to come back to my house to get the cameras back online. Before he came over, he argued with me on the phone wanting me to agree in advance to pay more money, even though they went offline within one year and are covered under both warranties. He tried to negate what the warranties covered and even the wording in his own contract. He finally came to get the cameras online but wanted me to agree to cap his visit at one hour and pay for any hours above that, regardless of the reason the cameras went offline. I said if they're not back online after the first hour we can talk about it, but let's at least see what he could do in that hour. When he came over, he spent ten minutes and got most of the cameras back online, but was very resistant to answering questions or explaining what he was doing or how to prevent them going offline in the future. He rushed out the door very quickly and wasn't willing to spend the full hour. I ran out to his car to tell him two cameras were still offline and the NVR was still offline but he left anyway. He said he would come back to fix the rest soon. It's been two months and he's been ghosting me. He won't respond to my calls or texts. I really liked Yitz initially, but he's broken my trust and I've given him way too many opportunities to fix the situation. I've had too much patience. Very disappointing.

Wasted my time unfortunately…read more Gus came out on 3/31/21 to give me a quote on an email migration and he was pleasant and professional. He told me he was willing and ready to take on my project and that it would be 6-8 hours of work. I thought that was a little high to move 2 email addresses and wanted to get other quotes so I let him know on 4/1 that I would be back in touch shortly. I didn't end up having the time to interview other techs so 5 days later on April 6th, I texted Gus to let him know that I wanted to proceed with him. I knew he had amazing reviews and came to the conclusion that even if the price was a little high it would be worth it to know I was getting someone knowledgeable and available. And time was of the essence so I needed to move forward. Gus never responded to my text. Yesterday, (13 days after receiving no response) I followed up and Gus' reply to me was "Hi, sorry swapped at the moment". I presume he meant swamped and that he is now not available? I honestly feel that Gus was offended that I questioned his pricing/time necessary to move 2 email addresses from hostgator to Office; but I feel as consumers, we have the right to ask questions and make the most informed decisions possible. Now, 3 weeks later I'm back to square one. Feeling frustrated and defeated. Time is our most valuable resource and nothing upsets me more than having mine wasted! Not the mention the owner Amir is not good to work with. This year I gave him a $20k job for a application development. It was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in Feb and finish at the end of April at the latest. It is now Sept and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. Amir took my $8k deposit and left me stranded. He couldn't even man up and tell me the truth, just kept dragging me along telling me that he was working on it and it was almost done. He did not have the skills to build an iOS app but told me he did in hopes of learning as he went. This is BS. Don't trust Amir or Aryosys. I am having my lawyers work to get my money back with damages for lost time and revenue. I should have know when his best employees started leaving him that there was something wrong. One of them told me they were leaving because they didn't like working with Amir. That should have been my warning.
