Took my truck in for a an oil change appointment. Got there early for my 7:45 appointment at 7am. They requested I be there by 7:30. Check in was quick. Texted my service advisor at 10:53 for status in my truck. Got no response. Still no response until today. It's now the next day that I'm am writing this review. So at about 11:30 I found my service advisor. Asked what's the status of my truck. He said that the oil change is done and they are waiting for a certified person to do my safety check. Took a walk around the lot and saw my truck sitting in the back of the lot. The service advisor came to me when I got back in the waiting room and told me that they are pulling my truck into get worked on now. So I went for another walk and seen my truck get moved father back in the lot behind more cars along the fence. I then proceeded to my service advisor and asked him to just get my keys and forget my service since my truck has not been worked on at all. Nothing was done to my truck after waiting 4 1/2 hours. So my service advisor walked me to the back of the lot gave me my keys said sorry and moved a truck out of my way so I could leave. He was a new service writer so I don't want to put him on blast as I know it's not his fault. Before leaving I did buy an oil filter and drain plug washer and will be doing my own oil changed from here on out. Not going there ever again. 4 1/2 hour wait for nothing. New Year, New Car. Decided on a Toyota, and so glad we did. Patrick Ibarra was recommended by a couple of family members, both of which recently purchased new cars from him. He booked us in between appointments, we waited briefly in their spacious lounge area, where you can overlook the service department working on cars. Definitely bring a jacket, this place is super freezing. It didn't take long to receive an appraisal for my trade-in, and the approval process to finance with Bank of Hawaii was fast. We requested to look at RAV4's prior to signing the docs. We were shown just one RAV4, no additional options and got a brief 2-minute rush through of the key features, while we peaked at the interior through the windows. I was eager to sit inside of the car, but knowing Pat had another customer waiting we didn't want to bother any further. We decided at that point to allow him to finish up his customer, so we left to grab a quick bite, and to gather our thoughts. We returned within an hour and the Finance Manager, Dan Kashima was waiting and ready for us. Dan was super patient while we decided on the type of "extras" we wanted to include with the financing. He was so good at explaining things, he didn't pressure us and made sure we understood the different packages. It was a real pleasure talking stories and connecting with him on a personal level. Once the car was prepped and the docs were signed, Pat took his time to explain all of the features in detail and he seemed very excited for us. He also told us to check with the dealership I purchased my other car from, because I can get a reimbursement for the extended warranty. Just a quick review update for Servco's service dept... I have my car go through routine service every 6 months and since day one have always had a great experience here. From the check in staff, the service consultant and the check out cashiers, they are always top notch. One of the things I really love about this Leeward location is they have a complimentary car wash that they can run your car through if you request it. Since being in an apt now and no longer have a house where I can wash my car in the driveway, I've made it a lazy habit of only washing my car every 6 months whenever I get the car serviced. ;-) One thing that was new since my last visit that I'm a bit irritated at is if you pay for your service with a credit card, they charge you an extra 2.5% on your bill...bleh! I made an appointment for a Wednesday at the end of the day I called to get an update since I didn't hear anything. Was told car was not looked at yet. But it would be repaired Thursday and ready for pickup at 5 pm. Thursday comes and was told they found the problem but parts would needed to be ordered but it would be expensive. I reminded them it was under warranty. They said they would have to check if it was covered. On Friday was told they are still checking. On Monday they got the go ahead to fix the car. Now we were told it would take 7 to 10 days for the parts to arrive. It's been almost 2 weeks and we are still waiting. Called today and they still don't know when the parts will arrive. read more

While I understand that prices can sometimes change, this has happened to me multiple times at this location--being quoted one price and then charged more without clear explanation. Shortly after the service, I also noticed my windshield wipers turning on by themselves, which was not an issue before. I contacted my service advisor, Matt, to have my car checked, but was told the earliest available appointment was two weeks out on a weekday. Given that this issue appeared immediately after service, I expected a quicker effort to fit me in. I live nearby, but I previously went to Servco Windward and never experienced these kinds of issues. At this point, I would rather make the 40-minute drive to Kaneohe for more reliable service and clearer communication. read more
