Excellent place to come get your safety check! I came here on the recommendation of my husband who said they take you in quickly without fuss and no appointment is needed. When I arrived for my safety check (first come, first served), I was first in line. I knew the place was popular, as I saw cars coming in behind me. The worker was knowledgable and thorough. He made sure to check my paperwork back and forth and was patient when I needed to download my new insurance information from my app. The cost was typical and reasonable for the job and I was in and out of there in like 20 minutes. Can't beat that! Highly recommend this place. read more

Hands down the best and fastest place to get a safety check service! I walked in around 9am, got taken in immediately, and was out within 5 minutes. It's around $25, and for how quick and efficient the service is, it's totally worth it. I'm definitely coming here every time from now on! read more

Such a breath of fresh air! I came here for a safety inspection and Jeremy was awesome! I spent the last hour driving to two different oil changers locations dealing with really rude workers telling me to either wait two hours because their inspector is on lunch or come back another day. I was so confused, but glad their terrible customer service turned me over to Usman auto repair. The service was so quick and painless and Jeremy was very friendly and helpful through the whole process. My new go-to inspection place! Highly recommend! read more

I stopped by for a routine safety check, only to discover that I needed mud flaps for my truck. Jeremy kindly provided me with directions to potential locations where I could find them. I promptly went to one of the places he suggested and installed the mud flaps immediately. I then returned to get the safety check done, which was done quickly and efficiently and cheap. Since there was no need for an appointment, I decided to bring my mom's car the next day. Jeremy is an exceptional mechanic who genuinely cares about his customers and keeps them informed about the progress. It's rare to find a mechanic who genuinely enjoys their work. I highly recommend checking him out. Thanks a lot, Jeremy! read more

Safety inspection was fast and they were able to work with me on short notice. Will definitely recommend and will go here again.

I can't say enough good things about Usman Auto. * They were able to do a safety check on the same day. The guy who takes care of this, Jeremy, is knowledgable about cars and will guide you through the whole process if there is a problem. * I made an appointment for an oil change which took less than an hour and the price was reasonable. They also gave me a list of items that need to be taken care of in the near future. * They have an air-conditioned waiting room where I could do my laptop work. * At the end of the appointment, they gave me a color-coded one-sheet to help me understand the status of my car: battery, oil, wipers, tires, engine, brakes...this sheet is brilliant...in one glance, I understood the status of my car. I have been taking my cars into shops for over 40 years and I've never seen anything like this one-sheet. read more

I needed to do my safety check before the end of the month and found Usman Auto with no appointment necessary and his last appointment for safety check is 5pm which was perfect for me. That parking lot is pretty busy & full because it's a lot of small businesses that he shares with so be prepared to wait for a parking stall. The owner did my safety check with ease & great personality and customer service was excellent. read more

Fast and friendly! Went in for a safety check on my vehicle and was in and out in like 10 minutes. No appointment at all!

My usual safety check location wasn't currently providing service, so they referred me to Usman. Usman offers walk-ins which worked perfectly since I procrastinated. When I arrived at 12:55, they had a Lunch Break until 1pm sign so I waited and parked in the lot. Exactly at 1pm, Jeremy (the safety inspector) walks up to my window. There were a ton of other parked cars in the lot so I was taken by surprise that he noticed me park while he was on his break. Jeremy was incredibly polite and clear with instructions. He was humorous as well which helped calm my nerves of going to a new location (I've been to places in the past who were rude and just wanted to check you off the list). They are efficient, attentive, and friendly. Definitely recommend checking them out if you want to experience high quality service and 5-star customer satisfaction!!! read more

So glad I saw Usman Auto on social media - right down the street from our store - we all love to support local. As advertised they take walk in appts for safety check. I showed up on a Saturday at 12:10pm - I was immediately helped even though they were on their regular scheduled noon lunch break. I walked right by the sign which I did not see until after the fact yet they immediately started to help me. Fixed my brake light situation with a part they had in stock so i could pass inspection Jermey and Matt you have a great crew wiring for you read more

Where do I even start with Jeremy! Short, beautiful eyes, even more beautiful nails. Came for a safety check because every other spot had hours of wait time or even weeks. Shop is first come first serve and only waited 2 minutes. No problems at all, very thorough with everything and quick. Definitely my new safety check spot read more

Went in for a safety inspection, was in and out in 5 min. Jeremy made it super duper easy.

We've been to Usman for a few years now. Best mechanic ever! Not only did he take care of our cars, his pricing is also very reasonable. When Usman discovered other problems on our car, he gave us the option to decide whether or we'd like to fix it, what are the alternatives, and he isn't pushy at all. Always deliver as promised. Highly recommend! Usman is also a certified safety inspection spot now! Guess where we'll be bringing our cars to for safety from now on - USMAN!! read more

I was referred by Dad to his mechanic who fixes his work trucks. We noticed my front tires were wearing uneven and although I took it into the dealership, "Stealership" since I had warranty, they didn't diagnose it correctly so I had Nestor diagnose it, and sure enough it needed to be replaced! I was looking forward to changing my tires! It turned out great and I also returned for my Service B which was a great value! I saved money and time by taking it here. Mahalo! read more

I have come to see Usman twice now with problems with my car. He was recommended by a neighborhood chat that my friend is a part of. First time, I had issues with the AC. It was not blowing properly as well as a mile maintenance check up and the second time was last week when all of a sudden, my driver window started to rattle and the window wasn't going up. Both times when I have called him, he has fitted me in his schedule pretty quickly to assess the issues and both times, he has fitted me into actually repair the issue within days (second time was next day). The work is usually pretty quick too. He almost overestimates the time it take and then overdelivers with the speed at which the work is completed. He has a couple of guys working for him and they are all very nice! The recent visit, we showed up and Usman was finishing up an appointment, but his guys were on lunch break, so they turned on the TV for my kids. They finished up lunch quickly and got to work on my car and they were done in an hour! They have been very accommodating and honest. His fees are reasonable and won't overcharge you. His garage is located near Farrington Hwy near the Seafood City. He is on the corner of Leoleo and Leokane. His garage is the corner unit in the strip. Parking - the parking for this lot of businesses that he is a part of is very crowded but he will let you know where to park. Kid-Friendly - He has a TV in his garage and a table with chairs and some bar stools. Both times, he has graciously turned on Daniel Tiger for my kids and they have been happy to get some screen time while we waited for the work to be done (which has been pretty quick). Depending on your repairs, he also does have a loaner car he offered so that I could take the kids somewhere else, but I was too lazy to switch the car seats and they were happy to watch Daniel Tiger anyway. Also, the guys working for him also offered my kids some Magnolia Ice Cream from their lunch, so I hope you only get so lucky! It was delicious...but don't expect it! It is not included in the service! LOL read more

As I was driving my brothers car , it was dying on me during traffic time after work. But luckily , one of orileys guys told us that he recommend them! My brother just had his car fixed but not everything was getting done. Come to find out the alternator needs to be replaced and we came there by 8pm and they say it will be done before midnight! Man , that blew us away. Now my brother can trust them cuz they get the job done and get it right. We highly recommend them and it's closer to home. read more

Great service, friendly, and well priced! These guys know everything about cars, and can get the job done! Got my car looked at, and within a matter of time she runs! In Hawaii there's a lot of car shops, but not like these guys who want to fix your car, and get it done. I've been to other big auto shops and they dread working on my car, and just take money with speed. You're in good hands here at Usman Auto. Thank you guys! 5 stars for sure! read more

Just to update, I went back and had Nestor fix the AC. It was exactly as as advertised before. I got the condenser replaced and he discovered damage to my radiator. He didn't push, and only fixed what was needed. I will be bringing all my vehicles to him. read more

I naturally gravitate to these family owned businesses because of my upbringing. At this shop, there are multiple mechanics who are knowledgeable in their trade. Give them a call and see if they can help you with your needs. I am a little more flexible so leaving my car here all day wasn't an issue. For both times, I got my car back within the same day - I guess it just depends on the problem read more

Trusted these guys too much, may be it's my fault. I came to get my AC checked, already told them it got broken into and the wires were cut by the harness but they said they can inspect it for eighty dollars. They kept my car for 3 days just to tell me the wires are cut and it would take a week for a "part" to come in. After a month of not hearing from them. I decided to ask for an update and they told me they're still looking for the part. I should've asked earlier but in the time I was waiting, I could've done more research or go to another shop. I was hoping they were helping me out but they just charged me to tell me what I already knew and tried to push it to the side. Hope the best for this shop read more
