The brick & mortar shops were all giving me the run around and never could provide me with a quote to address the problem with my headlight. I figured my ballast was bad in the headlight however, it wasn't until Charles pulled the headlight did I see that rain and condensation had ruined the ballast and water literally poured out. The headlight configuration on my car didn't allow Charles to remove and replace the ballast without taking the plastic headlight cover off the car. Factory alterations are something he told me upfront he doesn't do, so we decide the best approach was to get a headlamp unit assembly replacement. Charles had quoted me a flat rate of $300 to replace the ballast which included removing part of the front bumper to access the headlamp unit in my car. Since he couldn't replace the ballast with the new one I provided, he put everything back together, charged me only $200 and told me he would come back out after I got the new headlamp and would only charge me the remainder of $100 on the original quote which I felt was more than fair since he essentially would be doing the same job again. I finally got the new headlamp assembly abut 1.5 weeks later, and texted Charles who immediately acknowledged my message and gave me a day he could come back and finish the job. He actually completed the job within 30-40 minutes and everything worked great, headlight is perfect. I can't say enough about how fair Charles is. He quotes you a flat rate for the services you need. He's a great guy, easy going and doesn't waste time, he gets right to work and gets the job done. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs mobile work at their home or place of business, I know I will be using him again. If you're tired of getting jacked up estimates from one of these shops and feel the inconvenience of having to drive to their place of business, Charles will bring his mobile services to you for a fraction of the cost!

He suggested a place called ILTK Auto Repair at 651 Kilani Avenue in Wahiawa. We took the car there expecting to need to leave it there for some hours if not overnight, but the fellow who met us asked us to wait, and within about thirty minutes he had accomplished all three tasks. Since this is a rental car and not mine, I called the owner to let him know what was going on. He asked if he could call in the payment, and thankfully, they were able to accommodate that. We waited in the waiting area, where I was even able to enjoy some complimentary Keurig coffee while we waited. The service was not only great, but FAST! I really appreciated being able to come in and get everything taken care of in less than an hour. We were honestly worried it was going to take a while, especially since they were closing in about 15 minutes, but they got us taken care of so quickly. This last visit was disappointing; we scheduled our truck for an oil change, tire rotation, and requested a tire patch in our front left wheel since we could visibly see a screw in it and it had a slow leak (we'd have to fill it every 3-4 days). After the service they confirmed the oil change was done, the tires were rotated, and the tire was patched. Drove home. The next morning I decided to check the tire pressure just to see, and the tire was at 27psi, (supposed to be at 45psi) the lowest it's ever been. And it was still the front left tire. So not only did they NOT rotate the tires, our tire is now leaking air even faster than before we took it in. Called to explain the tires clearly weren't rotated and the leak is even worse. The service rep apologized and said someone would call me back. It's been 2 days and still haven't gotten a call. Don't know if there's new management, but this is not the service we've grown accustomed to over the years bringing our vehicles in here for their twice yearly maintenance. *updated* We took our truck back in where they completed the rotation and did a good job on patching the tire, it's been two days and it's still holding strong. We were compensated with a complimentary service for the hassle and they made up for the frustration of the last experience.
