My experience at TCA Auto was amazing! Ed did a good job at being responsive and giving me constant updates on the status of my deal. I was looking for a car that was in the price range and one that looked cute and this 2019 Corolla Hatchback in smoked paprika metallic was PERFECT!!! Thank you Ed and Brandon for making my car buying experience easy and great! I love my new car. read more

TCA Auto - Car Dealers Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

I would leave zero stars if i could! Take your business else where. I came a month ago to look for vehicle that was listed online for sale. When i came to look at the vehicle i noticed the vehicle tags were expired. Firstly, the vehicle was not even ready to be sold none of the paper work for the truck was ready. Went for a test drive and notice the AC was out. So then they needed to fix the AC before i even considered buying it. They do not let you get up to highway speed when test driving it BTW so be careful when purchasing. They offered financing there DECLINE it if you can my credit was ran through a poor company called Westlake. I offered a significant amount of employment verification for them to still turn down the loan because "of fraud and inconsistency" even though i had already signed a contract of what i would be paying. While i was doing that i was also trying to get a loan through my bank to see if i could get a better loan amount. Because of that Westlake decided they needed a million things from me because i was wanting to get a loan through my personal bank. Anyways. I signed all the paperwork paid the down payment paid for the insurance and the vehicle was released to me. I had the truck for a month !!!!!! And now TCA IS DEMANDING IT BACK BECAUSE THEIR LENDER WAS A FLUKE!!! They sold a truck with broken headlights which i paid to be fixed , i installed window tint because i had THOUGHT I WOULD BE PAYING THE CONTRACT I SIGNED!!!!!! SO NOW IM OUT OF A VEHICLE AND A LOWERED CREDIT SCORE TRYING TO PURCHASE A VEHILCE FROM THIS SLIMY COMPANY There way of trying to make up for this was doing a "in house loan" at $515 a month with a 23% APR NO THANKS $30k for a $18k truck RIP OFFS read more

I'm ready this review to warn other customers of TCA's business policies and what happened to me as a customer. I purchased a vehicle used as is based on the condition of the vehicle. I did test drive the vehicle but for 15 minutes. No lights are warning signs came on. They sold me the vehicle knowing there was an engine issue and that I was shipping the vehicle an extra cost of $700 to a neighboring island. Also, because it took time for the purchase of the vehicle and organizing the shipment I incurred rental vehicle costs. A representative from TCA Auto drove the vehicle from their dealership to Young Brothers in Honolulu The distance between the two would have made the engine act up and the radiator go dry. Upon arrival the temperature warning light was already on in the vehicle and I could smell smoke. We drove immediately to the gas station and check the water and gas and filled it. I was still concerned since the temperature light was on. My daughter drove the vehicle 16 minutes and 10 mi to our home. I was concerned about her driving the vehicle I had a neighbor come over and just check everything out including tire pressure. The next day she drove the vehicle back from the house to my office which is about the same distance 10 miles and 16 minutes depending on traffic. By the time she got to our office the engine was acting up and shut off. We had another person come to check out the vehicle to find out what was going on so we could let the dealership know the problems we were having with the vehicle. We reached out to the dealership to inform them of the difficulties we were having with the vehicle. They never offered to return the vehicle and refund our money. We felt like we were in a bind because I couldn't purchase another vehicle I have multiple car loans two daughters with two loans that I have cosigned on. I made an agreement with TCA Auto so they could take the vehicle back and absolve the loan. They made me pay the return fee of the vehicle and refunded me $500 of the $3,000 I put down on the vehicle. I made this agreement so we could move forward I couldn't afford to continue paying for rental car costs and a loan at the same time. I felt like the dealership was going to drag it out and not pay me the money that was due to me based on the situation. After they've received the car and the loan was absolved I did reach out to BBB to let them know the situation. I'm warning others about this car company Do not purchase a car from them. Obviously, they have no care or concern what type of vehicle they're selling you no business ethics and customer service is horrible. All they cared about was their bottom line. I spent almost $1,000 a month in rental costs waiting for the vehicle to arrive and then once it did rental cost because it didn't work the entire time I had it in my possession. They only gave me two options They actually offered two options to take off $1,000 off the sale price if I kept it. Or I could return the car pay the return fee for shipping get $500 back and the loan absolved. Of course, that's the option I took due to facing the fact our family was facing hardship through not only paying the loan on a vehicle but also paying $1,000 a month in rental car fees. Returning it within the 30 days also saved me a lot of money in the return shipment with young brothers. It was apparent TCA Auto was not going to refund any of my money and only drag this out creating more of a hardship on my family. Do not use this company. If you're looking to purchase a used vehicle purchase it from a car dealership that has used and new cars on it. I did learn something from the experience and that those dealerships have to hold a higher standard of customer service and they would have immediately return the vehicle not charged me and paid the shipping fees. read more

Jave Rosales, Sales Manager provided us with excellent customer service. He was patient and took the time to listen and share his knowledge and experience about the 2014 Mercedes Benz ML 350. . Working with 1 person from start to end has made this experience very comfortable. Jave was able to ease our concerns by going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we were comfortable with our purchase. The company provided us with a copy of the CAR FACTS to validate that the vehicle was not damaged or had a salvage title. This is important because Some times owners selling their vehicles on other Social Media may not provide. The greatest part is he does not pretend to know everything about the vehicle but he helped us figure it out. Something that you may not find in a big box dealership. We highly recommend purchasing your next used car from TCA Auto because the inventory is hand selected to ensure the best for potential buyers. TCA auto does offer the opportunity to finance your new/ used vehicle with options to meet your financial needs. FYI, we financed through HOCU. To benefit from the low interest rate, each person on the registration must open an account with a membership for a nominal fee. We were a bit surprised but that's what happens when you are looking at the deal. Salamat Jave and his team at TCA Auto read more

It was a pleasant adventure working with Brandon. He wasv honest with some stuff or he was probably unaware but idk. But his professionalism and attitude was awesome and going with the flow. When I was about to sign my final document on a 2013 Nissan Altima to drive it off the lot that day on 6/16/23, Ive ask Brandon if it was okay for me to take it to my mechanic just to take a look at before finalizing everything and he said yes. Now keep in mind, I've also asked Brandon at the beginning if this car was reliable and in good shape to buy, he adv me that " Everything is good and not to worry." at that very moment, ny gut instinct said it was my first . :( I asked him if it was okay for me to take the car first to a mechanic before finalizing everything and he said yes and he actually held on to the car for 3 days and that was awesome. I got to the mechanic and he walked up pop the hood and around the base of the car engine everything was rusted, the valve was cracked and needed replaced. The engine had minor oil spills and the mechanic adv me that the Valve was leaking as well around the engine, we walked behind the car and the exhaust pipe was rusted as well along with the rotors that needed be replaced badly because it was rusted as well. From there I told our mechanic that's enough and I made final decisions to see if I'm able to get another vehicle or at least assist me in looking for another car. I've adv Brandon about the car damages and he said he was going to adv his mechanic. I then adv him if he had another car or something else I can look at but he never replied back to my txt nor a follow up....I'm a bit disappointed but at the same time I'm relieved that I was able to get the car check before buying. I'm pretty sure that there should be some great cars available but we were just unlucky that day with that particular car. I hope one day they run these car through mechanics maintenance before selling these cars like that. I've also attached some photos so you can have an idea before buying for any dealer. Have an awesome day. mahalo read more

My boyfriend and I went car shopping for the first time ever. We were honestly so scared we didn't know what to expect. You always see on tv how the sellers are aggressive and pressure is at an all time high. So the experience we had at TCA had to be the most easiest process we ever been through! I saw a post of the Infiniti Q50A on a Craigslist ad and immediately fell in love. Booked an appointment with Brandon, who responded immediately after via text. On the day of our appointment, my boyfriend and I walked into TCA (it's also a Vape store!) and met Brandon for our appointment. Right off the bat, he was very easy-going and friendly. He handed us the key to check out the car. No pressure, no signing of papers, he just needed a copy of our Drivers license. We checked out the car and fell in love! The car was nice and clean. We were told it was just detailed. After taking it out for a nice test drive, we got back to Brandon to further discuss. Still no pressure. We had 2 more car appointments with other dealers for that day to make sure that this was the right car for us. Brandon was super chill about it and he gave us the estimates for everything just so we had something to compare. He was very helpful with the numbers and gave us wiggle room w/ the price and we were able to get it within our budget range. Which is what every car buyers first priority! Thankfully Brandon yet again put our minds at ease and came in clutch. While at the other 2 appointments I couldn't stop thinking about the Infiniti at TCA. It was about 8:30pm after our last car appointment and I immediately texted Brandon. He responded within minutes happy to have us back to fill out the paperwork and take the car home! Signing papers was a breeze! Along with signing he gave us a brief description of what each page was about so it was easier to comprehend lol. We came in for a car, but came out with a car, a new friend, AND a lifetime discount at TCA Vape! Lol! How great is that?! All together, we had an AMAZING experience at TCA auto. Thanks Brandon for the great first impression. You seriously changed our perception on car buying. You the best! read more

went to look at TCA Auto last week (November 25) and called ahead to check when he would be there, he said he would be there til 5 PM, a bunch of lies!!!! he left at 3:30 according to the lady who works in the vape shop that they share...mind you it smells like a place that you can get high on just from walking in. If they lie about what time they are open what else could they be lying about? Auto loan interest rates are roughly 9-10% and their website lies and says they can give you 4%. 10/10 would not recommend read more

To be honest my husband & I were a little hesitant when we first pulled up to the dealership. They only had maybe 10-15 vehicles and it shared a space with a vape shop. We almost left but decided to give it a chance because they were selling a couple cars we were really interested in. We thought worst case scenario we would just leave. From the very beginning Brandon was extremely relaxed & did not pressure us at all! We test drove the cars & even left to go try a few other cars from the bigger car dealerships on the island. Needless to say we came back & bought one of the cars we test drove. Highly recommend you give TCA Auto a chance to show how easy & relaxed a car buying experience can be! read more

I saw an ad online for a 2010 Mercedes & I sent an inquiry about it. Within 10 mins I got an email with a text from Brandon! He was very informative & helpful. I needed to buy a car for my dad & I was paying in cash. I wasn't able to see the car on the same day, so Brandon texted me the next morning letting me know the car is on the lot & let him know when i'll come by. We got there to TCA Auto & immediately Brandon helped. Took the car on a test drive through Waipahu. Came back & there was no pressure at all from Brandon - he offered to let us discuss it & think about it. But, I had to buy the car. The process took about 15 mins & next thing you know...we drove off with the Mercedes. Awesome experience & super quick !! We will definitely be back for vape stuff too!! Recently just purchased a second hand vehicle from over here and let me just be frank about the amazing service the sales representative, Brandon, gave to us. We applied 2 days ago online for a used car and at first was a bit sad as we submitted the application after they had already closed and we wanted the chance to submit it as soon as possible with the hopes of speeding the entire ordeal a long a lot faster so submitting it after business hours was kind of like "damn ok now we're gonna have to wait to hear back till tomorrow when they open" - however this was not the case with Brandon. We submitted the application maybe 30-45 minutes after their closing time (we thought they closed at 9PM and then realized after googling 'TCA auto in waipahu' that they actually close at 6PM) and within a few minutes we received a text message from him stating that he got our application as was more than happy to process it for immediately without any hesitation which already made us feel very hopeful. The next day comes and he tells us to come around 10AM and he can go ahead and help us with the rest of the paper work and even allowed us to test drive the car for about 30 minutes. What was really cool was his dedication to helping not just me and my boyfriend, but also another costumer at the same time as well! You could clearly tell customer satisfaction is a top priority for him and delegating his time between us and another customer SEAMLESSLY was very much impressive to say so the least. He was welcoming, professional, funny, and most importantly to me, local. If I'm gonna commit to buying a car, having the candor and rapport with another local/Hawaiian really eases the anxiety and stress for me because I don't feel like I'm talking to a sales person, it feels like I'm talking to one of the boys I grew up with on the westside. He was very thorough with the paper work and also very fast with it as well ( you can tell he's been doing this for a while) everything paced along tremendously well and before I knew it we were driving back to Waianae in a beautiful blue Hyundai Elantra. If you're looking for a car to get you around the island and you want someone who's not going to beat around the bush with you, Brandon's the guy and TCA auto in waipahu is where you can find him. Did I mention the entire process from walking in the door to walking out with the keys in hand only took 2 hours? Girllll, talk about get in, get out, and get ahead! 5 stars 10/10 would recommend endlessly read more

They gave me the highest price for my trade-in and the best price for the car I bought. See Jave!

I just bought my first car from TCA Auto, a 2016 BMW 228i with the outstanding service/assistance from Jave Rosales!! In the past, I have leased cars as well as just paid monthly payments on a car that was bought by my parents. As this was my first time actually going through the process of buying a car, I definitely was apprehensive and cautious, but Jave made sure I felt comfortable and reassured me throughout the process! He was always there to answer my questions and ensured that I was making the right choice financially and of preference of the car! It's summer and it is Hot! My current car had no A/C so I needed a new car the catch is my credit is horrible. So I saw this Subaru on my way to Don q and saw that it was for a great price. So I decided to check it out. Once I entered the shop Chase helped me out and I got to check out the car and it was so clean I could not believe it was a 09 car was in great shape and the Carfax were amazing. So I decided to go for it with my fingers crossed. ND it was a bit difficult with my credit. But somehow Chase worked his magic and did not give up and he was blessed to get me a loan. You won't believe how stoked I was to be able to get that car the day I walked in that's amazing. I will definitely suggest people to buy cars here. Also the selection is great if I had more money to spend I would of gone for one of the Mercedes or WRX haha. Much thanks to TCA Auto and Chase for helping me escape this summer heat!! read more

Went to TCA Auto to checkout the 2007 4runner they were selling. When I got there I was greeted by Brandon who walked me out to the 4Runner so I could check it out. Brandon then handed me the keys to the 4Runner and told me to take it for a test drive. Took it for a test drive on the freeway, back roads and up and down Makakilo. Even took it to my dad's house to show him and so we could look under the hood. After my test drive I told Brandon I'd scheduled an inspection with my mechanic for the next day. The inspection went great and I decided to purchase the 4Runner. Brandon and TCA Auto gave me a great price on the vehicle and hooked me up with a good interest rate. I signed the paperwork and took my new 4Runner home. I must say this was one of the best and fastest car buying experiences I've ever had. Thanks again Brandon and TCA Auto! read more

I got a call from Jave Rosales from TCA Auto one day who said he was interested in buying my '17 Honda Accord EX. He was professional, respectful, friendly, seemed up front and honest with showing interest to buy my car. I told him that it was a 'lease to own' vehicle and I had to pay off the Honda loan to get the ownership title. He was still interested in the car so I went to their dealership for him to see and test drive it. He really liked it, so we worked out an offer that was very reasonable and fair. In fact, it was more than what I had hoped to get for it. So he made out the contract, did the phone calls, and took the time to explain everything carefully to me so I would feel more comfortable and at ease because of the nature with this kind of transaction. He told me that he had done a lot of these kinds of transactions and knew what needed to be done. At first, I was skeptical because of the large amount of money involved. And it seemed too good to be true because I was trying to sell this car for over six months on other sites & displays with little success. But he assured me that it was all legit & I could cancel the contract anytime if I wasn't comfortable with the deal. I'm usually a little hesitant when it comes to matters like this, but I felt comfortable with him and decided to trust and go with him. And fortunately everything went through fine just as he explained it... I hold Jave in high regards as an upright, honest, trustworthy, empathetic, professional, knowledgeable individual with a lot of integrity. I would refer my family, friends and anyone who was interested in looking to buy or sell an auto and get a best, fair deal on it. I would definitely see Jave first if I was looking for another car... Much Mahalo & Aloha, God Bless... read more

Went in to look at cars and was greeted by a salesman named Chase. He wasn't really pushy like how most car salesman are. Very humble and easy to talk to. Listened to what I was looking for. Mom & I were looking for a replacement car for her and I heard TCA Auto had a selection of good quality used cars. We went there to see what they had in stock and were pleasantly impressed, wow they had Lexus, Audi, Mercedes, Infiniti, BMW, Toyota, Nissan and more! Their pricing was unbelievably reasonable. Chase showed us a number of cars and was really informative and patient. Mom had a particular type of car in mind, she a Toyota fan and wanted something not too big and not small like a sedan she wanted to be able to sit high enough to see over the hood and most important it had to be silver in color. To say Chase was patient is an understatement, it felt like mom looked st every single car. Well, we didn't end up buying a car because mom was stuck on getting a silver Toyota RAV4. If you're looking for someone who's not going to rip you off or waste your time I 1000% recommend going to TCA Auto and asking for Chase. He didn't waste my time and he made sure that I got a good deal. I previously had a bad experience with a different dealership so I was very skeptical about talking to another car sales guy. Chase was amazing through the entire process, from walking me around to look at all of the cars he had available to me finally deciding and making a purchase. I had specific requests and he was able to make it happen, he was very patient and didn't push me to immediately make a decision. He gave me the time to think about my potential purchase and gave me some good suggestions when it came down to choosing a car. Chase was also very knowledgeable and made sure that I found the exact car that I wanted before I purchased it, he didn't want me to buy something that I wasn't really interested in and I truly appreciated that. I don't normally do reviews but TCA deserves this one. This was my first time purchasing a car so I went in not knowing what to expect. When I went in, Chase was there to help me. I had lots of things to take care of on my side and I remember asking him question after question and he would be straightforward and clear with everything. He was nothing but patient with me and that's what I appreciated the most. Whenever I came in, the staff always made me feel comfortable. When I finally was able to bring the car home, I realized there was a small minor issue with the brake light and Chase told me not to worry, that he'd take care of it. When I finally found the time to go in, Wade was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes! He and Jave told me that if I ever needed anything to go and visit them.
