Was offered a massage by the manager Andrea. Andrea listened to what I was looking for in a massage and matched me perfectly. Massage was with Deanna who is incredible..knowledgeable, strong and professional. I cannot wait to go back, hoping to get a massage membership. My massage was 5 stars..reserving one star ...as spas go therapists come and go. Deanna is the reason I will go here...I hope she never leaves. From a customers perspective Andrea went above and beyond. Sometimes expectations are not met..but it's how a business handles them that speaks volumes. As always the facility is top notch..now the therapists are too. Give it a try! read more

I crossed my path with Serenity Spa about 6 years ago, and can't express how grateful I'm of that. I've experienced the best massages just personalized to my needs with the best aromas (Aveda produts) and professionalism, and the facials are so well done, I've been always asked about my concerns at the moment, and always been so pleased with the services provided. Now talking about the yoga classes, I can't recommended a better place to take and elevate your practice. The instructor are so knowledgeable and prepared for your daily practice, that you have finished with the whole mind, body, and soul experienced. If you've never taken a Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, this is a must at the Spa. If you don't want to be exposed because of the COVID situation, no problem! They have online classes available! Lately I've taken them, quality and sound is really good, so I prepare my space, have my class and feel an excellent vibe in that space throughout the day!!! Also, you will delight into the ambience of the place, it's gorgeous and comfy! Besides, if you need a present they have the most beautiful exquisite treasures you'll find around Folsom and Roseville. They also have Ayurveda practitioners for anyone that would like to follow that path. Overall, Serenity Spa gives you an out of this world experience, and I highly recommend it. read more

I went back in and did the Winter Soltice again...it was fantastic!!!! Amanda did my facial and she was great. Listened carefully and did a very detailed facial. Used peppermint essential oil at the beginning and it made it amazing.Really cool and minty, cleared out my congestion it was perfect for this time of year. Gina did my massage and she did things I've never had done before. Really knew her stuff. Moved my body to get certain areas looser than before. I had a crink in my neck and she worked it out. Read my body and knew exactly what I needed. The place was quiet and smelled so lovely. Thanks so much to all of you for making my stay really just wonderful and exactly what I needed!!!! read more

I just had a lovely facial with Esthetician Amy and it was absolutely devine. She was very knowledgeable, open and friendly and really inspired me to take better care of my skin. I received an Ayurvedic facial with 100% organic ingredients; my skin is radiant, glowing and I feel amazing. Thanks Amy, I'll see you again. After my amazing facial I had a 90 minute Stress Fix Massage with Raymond. He did a great job, he is one of my favorite therapist. I highly recommend that you book with him, because you won't regret it, he was incredible. Great place! read more

I love this place! From their customer service to my massage, it was a great experience. I've been here 3 times and the last 2 times, I saw Jacqueline. She did the stress fix and the pressure was great. I definitely feel much better and she got the spots I needed. I will be returning soon! Thanks Jaqueline! read more

When I think of a spa, I want a spa that is clean, has good aromatherapy, is able to provide an array of treatment options, is comfortable, and has great customer service. Serenity Spa hits all the marks and raised my expectations for what a relaxing day at the spa means. Their beautiful interior along with their comforting aromas immediately relaxes your mind and body. I have yet to find a spa that come close to what Serenity Spa provides. read more

Went to this spa a few weeks ago with 2 other girlfriends for a "spa day." The spa itself is a bit hidden - next to the Starbucks at the Palladio. It's super cute on the inside and the staff immediately makes you feel welcome. We started with a foot soak and then transitioned into the rooms for our 1 hour massages. I can't recall the name of my masseuse, but she was wonderful and asked me if she was too firm or not firm enough with the massage. I would definitely recommend this spa again in the future! p.s. the chocolate covered fruit at the end of the session was the perfect way to end the massage :) read more

I would give this place a solid 5 stars if I had only reviewed my massage. I was here a while back and opted for facial followed by a massage. My massage I'll say was in the TOP five massages I have ever had! It was a true deep tissue massage. I gave this review a four star because the caliber of the spa does not match the product line they use for the facials. (Which is Murad) my facial was very average. The interior is beautiful custom and a lot of the decor is imported. Great location at the Palladio shopping center! This place has a "eat, pray, love" atmosphere, very yogi and somewhat spiritual. They do have a yoga studio inside, but I have yet to try. read more

Angela did an amazing job. Came in for a full body massage. Got a 90 minute massage, make you take off ur clothes, they soak your feet and even use hot stones to massage. I would definitely go back. Total cost $70 + tip read more

I called at 6:30 tonight and was in by 7:15. The girl that answered the phone was so polite and accommodating. Gina treated me to a fabulous foot bath and mother to be massage. Exactly what I needed! I finished with a chocolate covered pineapple, fresh water, and a warm towel to wipe down with. The Zen Lounge, and really the entire establishment, is stunning. Job well done SS. I will be back for more and I am even more excited that you are in my neck of the woods now!! read more

Went into the spa thinking I was going to receive such great service after reading their reviews, however, that was not the case!!! My boyfriend surprised me last week letting me know that he scheduled a couples massage for when I visit him. He scheduled our appointment over a week ago and confirmed the time, date, and location. My boyfriend and I planned everything around this appointment because I was only going to be in town for that weekend. Come time to our appointment and we find out that they had our appointment scheduled for the following week. Not only did we just find out that there was a miscommunication on their end ( since he verified the appointment time/ date multiple times to ensure our appointment was confirmed), but we also received TERRIBLE service. The receptionists were unapologetic and informed us that there was nothing that they can do. They then tried to offer us a little discount for our next massage, which was a slap in the face, and we declined since I will only be in town for that day. After we left the spa, we called back to speak to the manager to ensure that our appointment was cancelled (since they scheduled it for the wrong date) and to take his card off file. While on the phone, we thought maybe we would receive at least one apology on behalf of the company, but instead we received a passive response AND NO APOLOGY... AGAIN. This does not seem like a well functioning and managed spa. I am writing this in hopes that when readers go to schedule an appointment they make sure to verify the date and time of their appointments MULTIPLE times so this does not happen to them. I am also writing this in hopes that the owner of the spa will properly train their employees on simple customer service skills, and train them on how to properly handle a situation like this in the future. read more

This place feels like a getaway. The service and staff are polite, friendly and peaceful. It's a beautiful facility and offers a variety of services. I got a 90 minute facial and my skin looked so soft and clean and I felt so relaxed. Two thumbs up! read more

After receiving a referral to this place & reading all of the great reviews, I was sooo ready to get a massage. Their prices are double what I'm used to paying but I figured I'd get what I paid for, & I REALLY needed this massage. Before my massage I was given a questionnaire type thing to fill out, where I noted I wanted firm/deep tissue pressure. My masseuse greeted me & asked again what pressure I wanted. I said I don't want to be flinching from deep tissue but I definitely want firm & need the effects of deep tissue. The beginning of my massage was nice. It was pretty hard for me to relax which isn't like me because usually I fall asleep. I just kept waiting for the actual massage to start though & it never did. She really worked at one knot which was nice but after that knot it felt like she gave up. Before my massage she said the stress fix would focus on neck/shoulders & hands/feet. I'll say this much: as soon as I got in my car I said to myself "I need a shoulder rub." So I went home & my husband had to do what the masseuse couldn't. Yet another disappointing massage. This is why I never want to go pay for a massage but I NEED one sooo often. I really wanted this to be the place that changed my mind & I could come to every other week or something. My husband is strong but he just doesn't know the ins & outs of massage like a professional does. All in all I'm bummed off this place. Don't believe the hype. If you are looking for a real fix & not just relaxation, I wouldn't recommend. read more

Serenity spa is a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this place to any friends or family. Today my girlfriend and I showed up for my massage at 2pm, and they told me that they don't have it booked for today, but instead it is for 2 weeks from now. This wouldn't be a problem however I booked this over a week ago as a surprise gift for my girlfriend who lives in Southern California. read more

Most awful experience here and would not recommend visiting Serenity Spa whatsoever. I received a gift card from work for a massage and was excited to try out this spa since I had walked by it a few times and it looked magnificent. Boy was I wrong! I called to schedule my appoint as a prenatal massage and the receptionist asked how many weeks I was (first tri) and approved that a prenatal massage would be just fine. I then called the morning of my appointment due to some safety warnings alerted in the area to see if I could move to another date, they cancelled and charged me $30! I was locked in because of this gift card and said no way I will just come in today regardless of the safety precautions (unfortunate). They never refunded my card like they said they would after keeping the appointment! Then I get there.... Mind you I don't live close... and they say they cannot give me a prenatal massage. What is wrong with you Serenity Spa? Be more organized and have those at the front desk know what they're doing. I would not leave without this massage as it was already hell trying to book, and getting an extra $30 charged for nothing. They made me sign so many wavers to proceed. The massage was nice but other than that this place is HORRIBLE!! Get your ethics together and don't charge people needless fines especially while pregnant and in a pandemic. Shame on you Serenity Spa! read more

Serenity Spa is the absolute best massage I have had and I have been to a lot of massage places. The Zen room was great. I highly recommend the Stress Fix Massage. I will definitely be back here!! read more

Longtime customer but so disappointed with my last visit. The front desk was snobby when I questioned my bill. And the treatment for a 90 minute stress fix could have been done at $25 spa. read more

So this review is specific to the full moon meditation. Overall, the experience was awesome! I have been trying to attend such an event for the past few months but I work in the evenings and could not make this happen until now. I found the meditation chairs very comfortable. I was concerned of the setup as I have a bad hip and can not sit with my legs crossed in my lap. We were able to sit with our legs straight out if needed. Just be still as some people will be walking around and they'll walk over you. They really jammed a lot of us in there which makes the room even hotter. Definitely not for the weak or heat sensitive. Before I started doing hot yoga there would have been no way that I would have been able to withstand the heat in this room. Plus they have steam and essential oils going so its like sitting in a sauna for over an hour. If you let everything fall away, and just listen to the drums, or the water trickle, or the singing bowls, you can have quite a spiritual moment looking inward. I certainly experienced that floating in air sensation as I left the physical world and journeyed inward. Now I do have 2 slightly negative things to say which I only bring up as feedback for the spa and just a heads up to others for future events. The first is they were not on time. The event was supposed to be 7-8:15 and we started late and did not leave the room until 8:45pm. If I had children/babysitter or any other commitment afterwards this would have been a serious issue. That's not just a little late that's a whole half an hour. I came from downtown and start my workday at 2:45am every single day so it was already a stretch for me to be out and away from how this late so that 30 min made a big difference for me and will involve extra caffeine in my life. The second thing is that I felt at the end of the meditation session we should have just ended on a few very short thoughts and namaste, that's it. It would have kept me more in that positive relaxed state and I would have felt like their was a definitive end. Instead we had our end namaste moment and then the leader continued to speak, and made a few jokes which all made us laugh, etc. and I felt like it kind of broke the awesome spiritual power we all had just experienced. I wanted to hold on to it a little longer. read more

I have been to spas all over the world-- 7 star hotels and resorts. This experience far surpasses those experiences. Diana was my masseuse and patiently worked on my left frozen shoulder and a great massage overall. My facialist was Romona. My skin looked dewy and moist and I felt great. Thank you! read more

Rodney did an amazing deep tissue. I have had issue in my shoulder for 10+ years and require firm deep tissue massages and he did wonderfully. I will be coming back. This place is the best!! I purchased a series of peels and Alisha was so awesome I now get monthly facials with her! She is the best and when I have any problems with my skin she always knows exactly what my skin needs!! I have seen great improvements in my skin and it's all thanks to her! I've also received massages and the best by far is Tina! I have the worst lower back problems and after seeing her I always leave feeling so much better!! I've received massages before but after her, she has definitely set the bar high and I can't find anyone close to her greatness!! read more

This is probably the most exclusive spa I have ever visited. The ambiance is warm and relaxing, with a scent of soothing fragrance in the air. I visited with my wife for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. This was my first visit to this spa. After being greeted by a friendly receptionist, we were offered tea and lead to a waiting lounge with dim lighting and relaxing music. We didn't mind, that we had to wait for a while, until our massage therapist introduced herself to us and offered us a foot soak. Unfortunately for me, my therapist and I were matched up incorrectly. A mismatch, if you will. I usually ask for a stronger person to "get really in there", but failed to request that at booking. So the massage was not as satisfying as I had hoped for. That can happen. But, here is where excellent customer service comes in to play. Upon bringing my concern to the spa directors attention, I was matched up with a "stronger" therapist for a follow-up massage at no charge. And my trust in Serenity Spa was restored. I often tend to rate a business by the ability to handle questions and concerns besides other things, of course. And I must say, the spa directors actions impressed me. I will definitely come back again. Thank you! read more

Had a couples massage on Valentine's Day with the hubby. Angelica and Destiny were our therapists and they were wonderful! Added extra touches like chocolate covered strawberries, hot tea, and mocktails were included. The spa itself is decorated beautifully and smells fantastic. They were running a little behind schedule and gave us a beautiful vase of roses as a thank you before we left. Will definitely come back to this Spa for future treatments! read more

The last two times I've come here for a massage have been wonderful. Love the pre foot bath in the tranquil room - it definitely sets the tone for relaxation. Can't remember the name of the first masseuse I had, but the most recent Gina was great. She definitely listened to what I needed. My mom has gotten a facial from here also and enjoyed it. The receptionists are also very helpful, It's always been a breeze to schedule something or find answers. Can't wait to come back for another relaxing day read more

Wow! I had a less than stellar massage a few weeks ago, and when I called to provide feedback I wasn't expecting much, but Lily (I think?) immediately made it right and scheduled me a complimentary 60 minute massage with Kamell (I believe). Kamell was AMAZING. Everything they did felt intentional and beneficial without being painful, and so relaxing without feeling like my muscles weren't getting worked deep enough. Thank you so much! read more

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FACIAL. I AM USED TO MONTHLY FACIALS and being new to Folsom was looking for a place. Went in for a facial. Spa looks nice with it's ambiance and furnishings. However the staff were not friendly. Before the facial, I was asked to select a scent. Esthetician just rubbed and removed the products from my face. I asked her if she will give me a face massage. She said she does not massage, other girls do (referring to others who body massage) NO FACE MASSAGE. NO SHOULDER MASSAGE. I could have put and removed the products myself at home. read more

My husband had given me a gift certificate to Serenity Spa for Christmas so I was finally able to give myself a spa day. When I arrived for my 90 minute stress relief massage, I was greeted by 2 friendly receptionists who brought me to the Zen room (a large dim room with plush couches) to fill out paperwork. My masseuse, Destiny, then came in to review my paperwork and asked me if there were any specific target areas I wanted her to concentrate on. I was then lead into a smaller private room to change into my robe. Destiny asked if I would like to have a fizzing bath salt put in my foot bath and I said sure what the heck (I didn't know it was an extra $10 charge ). I have occasional lower back pain and Destiny was so in tuned during my massage that her deep tissue techniques hit all the right spots. The massage ended with a glass of water and a sweet treat (chocolate covered pineapple slice that was so delicious). I had a very relaxing time at Serenity Spa and can't wait to go back! read more

I just had a Stress Fix massage here, by Zara, and it's one of the most heavenly massages I've ever received! She was so good at reading my neck and shoulders, and knowing exactly where I needed extra attention. This was my first visit to Serenity, and it certainly won't be my last. Lots of little extras, friendly staff, and a soothing, tranquil environment. Some places rush you in and out, but that was not the case here, so do allow yourself a little extra time when you book. Highly recommend a visit when you really want to relax! read more

Great mini massage at the yelp event. Worked the muscles out right where it hurts. Very firm massage just how I like it!
