I just left truly disappointed with my experience. I paid $70 for an hour-long massage, but I ended up asking her to stop before the hour was over. The massage felt more like continuous squeezing of my entire body rather than an actual therapeutic massage. I was expecting slow, deep, and intentional pressure, especially on areas of tension, but unfortunately that wasn't the experience I received. Making an appointment was easy and seamless via the website. I was able to get a same day appointment. I selected my appointment with Kelly since her name was mentioned in one of the 5-star reviews. I did not get Kelly for my massage. Upon check in, you're asked to pay for the service upfront. I find that ununsual, especially since I did not know how much to tip for the service without actually receiving the service first. I left the tip amount blank and figured I would just tip in cash after the massage. After the massage, the masseuse had a new credit card printout ready for me to add the tip. Also, note that you're charged a fee for using a credit card. I still left a generous tip even though I was not happy with massage. The massage itself was not relaxing. The pressure was harder than I wanted. In fact, I have several areas on my back that are now sore and tender as a result of the massage. Needless to say, I would not be back. read more

Been there twice. First time was a chair massage which felt great. Second time I got a full body/foot on back plus a facial. The full body/foot on back was good. I'm too small to have a full foot on back experience but because I wanted to try it, the workers allowed me to experience it a little. Wouldn't get it again cause they were right that I'm too small so the pressure was a little too much, but appreciate them for allowing me to experience it. I just had a wonderful 60 min body massage and my mom had a 90 min combo massage. It was very strong in all the right places and I loved the hot stone. My massage therapist, Lisa, did a great job with giving more pressure in all the right places and lightened up in some sensitive areas like my neck and calves. I felt relaxed and almost fell asleep which I can never do. The environment is very clean and comfortable and their towels and sheets are soft and smell fresh. Great massage, I'll be honest knots in and around my shoulders are how I rate massages. My masseuse did well but not great. The best way to find knots under the shoulder blade is to put one arm behind one's back and search for knots under that that shoulder blade. My knots are deep and that's the only to get to them. Had no idea that perfect massage had been in Folsom for 12 years. So glad I read some of the reviews. I stopped over to the location on Bidwell by Sherwin Williams paint. It's a storefront location. Upon entering nicely greeted and saw it was very clean. In fact had to use restroom and that too was well maintained. Paid for a 60 min full body massage. The room was nice and table was comfortable. Some tables at other places have small face opening and this was very comfortable and good padding. Lana was my massage therapist. She asked about pressure and any issues. She did a great job. She checked a few times to see if pressure was good. She used hot stones which felt great. Nice warm towels to wipe off lotion. I did not take pictures. I will return. $70 for an hour. I went there because they said they do lymphatic drainage massage. It quickly became clear they do not know a thing about actual lymphatic drainage, :-D however... I had the best damn (90 min.) massage in I don't know how many years from Kevin there. Little hole in the wall joint across from the Folsom DMV with such nice people running it. I got up the next day and felt like a million bucks. They will do exactly what you ask, so you can get a massage that matches what you really like. I was a first time client, and chose this spa based on the positive reviews. My current therapist is out on medical leave, so I was looking for a massage in the interim. I was incredibly disappointed that the therapist I was assigned was also the front desk operator/host. I was in for a 60 min massage and she left 7 times (yes, I counted while I was laying there) for her to greet customers and answer the phone. Perhaps I just had a poor first experience, but I highly recommend that you hire a person to answer the phone and tend to customers that show up for their appointments. read more

An EXCELLENT massage! Really the best clothed massage I've had in Folsom and I've been to many of the comparable places. The scalp massage was my favorite part and they took their time in it. They made sure I got the full hour massage, not 50 or even 55. Even had a private room which is nicer than a room full of people. This place may cost a little bit more but it's well worth the money. Get that straight We left the $50 tip because we felt like the service was mediocre. Had the service been great we would've left a larger tip. It's not our job to make ensure their wages are met! Definitely a good massage for the price but it's a no frills kind of place. The sheet and blanket to cover you was a little small and the table was too short for me. My feet were cold the whole time. No heated bed and they didn't ask where my problem areas were. They also mostly just did the backside of my body. Not feet, quads or front of shoulders really. I made a complaint that I didn't get the same masseuse that I wanted.
