A bit of background, I have had some longstanding tightness in my left shoulder and back more recently developed some annoying back muscle pain that motivated to make an appointment. It had been years since I had my last massage. Setting up an appointment was super easy and got one the very next day. I had booked an hour long deep tissue and Amanda was my masseuse. It was incredible, she went straight to work on my tight shoulder without any word from me. Could she tell by looking at me or my posture, I don't know. I realized I was long overdue and the massage felt so effective I was able to extend to 2 hours. The business name is spot on - you really are in good hands here. Amanda is so good at what she does I was blown away. Some of it was very painful but she would often check in with me and ask if it was too much, and I think that is to be expected if you want results and you've got a lot of muscle tightness like myself. I can definitely recommend her for deep tissue massage and I will definitely be going back for a follow up in the near future! read more

I made an online appointment for 10am today. I arrived a few minutes early and Michelle brought me promptly. The atmosphere was very clean, soothing, and calming. There was a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, so Michelle was focusing on those areas first me during the massage. She also ended up cracking my back, which felt good as well. Wished that there was a little more done for the feet, but that is okay. I feel more relaxed after the massage. Overall, loved the massage Only wished that I could have stayed longer. . read more

They did not finish 1 hour into massage and my wife was not applied where she asked . It's ok place to go.

I have been having the worst neck pain and after this massage I feel 10 times better now definitely worth it!

Amanda was amazing. I'm a big dude and she hit all the right areas and spots. She even recommended some Chinese herbs that I should get.

Jamie gives the best deep tissue massage I've ever had in my life. she is so strong and so thorough. I never want to go anywhere else.

My mom and brother were in town this weekend and she decided to treat us to facials and massage. Amanda and Michelle treated us perfectly. My mom and I got combined massage and facial. I started off with the massage. She used multiple techniques (deep tissue, ashiatsu, thai, and hot stone) on me and worked out some stubborn knots between my shoulders. I had never experienced ashiatsu before but found she was very adept with her feet. It was very intense but oh so good!! The hot stone massage was oh so wonderful too. Next was the facial. She took her time and not only provided a rejuvenating skin treatment, but also gave a wonderful facial and head massage. Working out more tension. My skin has not felt so soft in a long time. My mom and brother came out saying how good they felt too. My mom's face was smooth and soft and my brother shared "the crunching in my shoulders is gone." The establishment was kept very clean and they also kept the rooms warm with heated blankets on a cold Sacramento day. I would recommend this place and return myself as well. Love the staff and the treatment. read more

I was able to get in quickly on a rainy Tuesday and I worked with Jenny. It was easily one of the best massages of my life. Although she was young she really seemed like she'd been doing body work for many, many years. She checked in with me a couple of times about the pressure (it was perfect) and her draping made me feel comfortable. The pace and sequence of the massage allowed me to relax and I could feel tension melting away. The studio felt welcoming; the space and the bathroom were clean. She used hot stones which took the experience above and beyond. I've found my new local spot and I'll recommend Jenny to others! read more

Dan and his staff are the utmost professionals, fantastic communication, and work with you to make sure your body is being cared for! As public school educators, and care takers-this is THE place for wellness! read more

I saw Jenny for a 90-minute deep tissue massage and nothing I've had in the previous 40 years of my life compares to the incredible expense I had . Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful and she diligently focused on my chronic problem areas. I felt amazing afterwards! I would highly recommend her and Good Hands. I am continuously impressed by the professional and attentive care I receive at their business and needless to say I will continue to come back for many, many years! read more

Wow! Got the 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was one of the best massages I've ever gotten.

After a few months of playing tug with my 80 pound Doberman my back and shoulders were knotted. Found this place and the reviews were really positive. Thank you Yelpers! This place did not disappoint . The staff here know their jobs and do it well. More importantly they listen and focus on the areas that need more attention . After months of knot pain , my pain and pulled shoulder were gone in a week. Ask for Michelle , she knows what she's doing . Don't forget to say hi to Ocean who is the friendliest and most mentally stable chihuahua I've met. Also great value for the money . The store front doesn't look like much from the outside and is next to a sex shop but don't let that deter you . read more

We usually go to the Good Hands in Fair Oaks but we were near the Citrus Heights location so we decided to make an appointment. We were greeted by the most calm and gentle dog I've ever met in my life. The dog honestly set the tone for how great our experience was going to be. My husband got a massage by Amanda and he said it was great! BTW He likes strong pressure. We got a couples massage and she stepped on him and worked on his high hamstring strain, it gave him so much relief. I got Lilly and she is one of the best masseuse they have on staff. The 2 were a perfect duo and made the experience so relaxing. I highly recommend both businesses the fair oaks or citrus heights, whatever you choose you are literally in good hands lol. read more

My husband and I have been searching for a great massage place in Sacramento for a long time, and I'm happy to say our search is finally over! As dentists, we deal with constant back and shoulder tension, but Dan and Michelle did an excellent job addressing it and worked wonders. Both were attentive in checking on pressure levels throughout the session and highly effective in identifying and relieving areas of tension and put forth 110% effort from beginning to end. We left feeling so much better and look forward to coming back soon! read more

The space was very clean and welcoming, beautiful interior and all very friendly staff! This was my first experience with a facial and it was incredibly satisfying! I've been to a lot of massage places, in different countries. This has got to be in the top 2 of my entire life. The quality of the massage was amazing and the value of the price can't be beat. Dan and Amanda are a wonderful couple and really know what they are doing. I've had a lot of issues with trauma and being able to have my hips and back touched. Dan has been nothing but professional, gentle, and patient with my trouble spots. I trust him and his staff completely, they always ask for feedback during the massage and that means a lot. My best friend always asks for us to come for a massage every time she's in town. This place is so awesome it brought me out of Yelp elite retirement to review. I'd love to see this little local business succeed. read more

Way better than expected!!! I looked online for a place that would do a walk-in massage. 1st place I tried did not have time, so this was my 2nd stop. I am so glad that the 1st place didn't have time. Amanda was awesome. She used a variety of techniques and used hard pressure (which I appreciated). She even walked on my back...which popped my back...which I needed. I had actually gone to the chiropractor earlier in the day and she got some spots to pop that he couldn't get to pop. I will definitely come back!!! read more
