Had a massage with Kim recently and I really enjoyed it. Her pressure was nice, not too weak nor painful. She also used unique a "cupping" technique that I had not experienced before. She explained that it helps pull the muscle up and draw blood to targeted problem areas for healing and relief. It felt amazing. After my massage I felt energized and refreshed. Today I had a chair massage with Massage Kneads. Kimberly Austin was strong and friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. At the end of our time together I felt fantastic and now I want another massage soon! I was uncomfortable with the idea of a massage at first, having a stranger rub my back does not sound fun. But Kimberly instantly relaxed my guard with her kind and friendly conversation. During the massage, it was pleasantly quiet allowing me time to just close my eyes and relax. Kim is great! I started going to her for migraines/head & neck pain which is a continual issue. I have definitely felt a huge improvement. Kim was fantastic! I was very sore from a long run and deal with chronic low back pain. She paid attention to my problem areas and always communicated with me to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was ok. I LOVE that she incorporated "cupping" into her massage. This really helped in areas where I was very sore. Her room was nice and soothing. She even provided a follow up email for stretching tips. The only small issue I have is, if there is someone in the salon the noise can be distracting (blow dryer, talking, etc.) However, if you want a massage that is going to make you feel relaxed and pain free, go see Kim! Kimberly is a very professional and competent masseuse. In addition to these great qualities, she is very customer service oriented. She makes sure her massage table is cozy and warm with each massage, she "checks in" with her customer during the massage to assess their comfort level, and she gets to know her customers well. I was very impressed after the massage when she handed me an instruction sheet on ways to further aid in resolving my problem areas in between my massages.
