What was extremely weird was the masseuse trying to haggle over a tip. I left 10$ and felt that was appropriate. She insisted she needed 20$ and that's when we started to bicker. I just left truly disappointed with my experience. I paid $70 for an hour-long massage, but I ended…read moreup asking her to stop before the hour was over. The massage felt more like continuous squeezing of my entire body rather than an actual therapeutic massage. I was expecting slow, deep, and intentional pressure, especially on areas of tension, but unfortunately that wasn't the experience I received. I left feeling like I didn't really get a massage at all and like she was rushing. The place itself is clean and nice, but sadly, I was not happy with the quality of the massage.

I've had a few massages here before and they're usually hit or miss, but tonight my massage left me…read morefeeling more stressed leaving than when I came in. First, my masseuse was a man who was using mostly his elbows and seemed very rushed the whole time. He even coughed on my foot at one point, kept grunting, and was clanking the hot stones in the bucket right next to my head which was super annoying. He also had me lay face down the entire hour and didn't even give me a head massage. It was terrible. I had an $80 gift card that my mom gave me and I tried using it, but for some reason it caused so much drama with the front desk lady. I couldn't understand fully what she was saying, but she started raising her voice and I think accused me of turning a "$60" into an "$80" on the gift card. She kept writing the number 6 and turning it into an 8 on paper, it was ridiculous. She then called the owner and got her boss involved, to which they asked if I'm going to tip... I wasn't on planning to tip the leftover $20, but I just wanted to leave at that point after arguing for 15 minutes. What a highly stressful ending to my massage! I wouldn't recommend this place especially if you get the male masseuse and beware of using gift cards since they seem to freak out if you have one.

I was greeted warmly by Shirley, the manager, who also happened to be my masseuese. The business is modern, nice decor and very clean! Shirley did an amazing job of relaxing and working out some knots. She applied hard pressure and asked if she could walk on my back? Yes, that is fine with me. She kept asking if her pressure was good and she did some good draping skills. If I am visiting the area again, I would definitely return as it was a professional and safe experience. The menu says you get a complimentary hot stone massage with the option we chose. I kept waiting for the hot stones as that's one of my favorite parts, however, I was disappointed when it never happened. They have a very annoying wind chime on the front door and will leave the massage to attend to whoever walks in. Our massage was interrupted three times. I've been to many massage places, this one is decent, and I would return. However I do feel they could improve the door attendance situation and either remove the hot stone from the menu or actually perform it in the massage as advertised. That being said, it was so nice to have the tension in my muscles melt away.

I called a week in advance to make the appointment and requested for 90 min massages for both of us. We got there 10 mins early and they showed us to a couple's room which is fine. We both have been to plenty of these types of massage places. They usually soak your feet in hot warm to rinse before they do the foot massage, but they didn't do that here.. they just went right into the feet massage. They essentially spent 30 mins massaging our feet and an hour on the rest of our body. During the massage, both masseuse talked to each other, which made me regret that we were in the couple's room. Also at one point the phone rang and my masseuse walked away to pick it up. Then another customer came in and the other masseuse left to address that customer. I have never been to a massage place where they didn't have a receptionist so that the masseuse could just focus on the massage. It really took me out of the whole experience. I don't understand how this place has all these great reviews.. we def won't be returning.
