Lady Dante! My girl
Jay Y.

A Compassionate Farewell for out Beloved Girl Lady Dante! Losing a beloved pet is one of life's most heartbreaking experiences, but Dr. Pearce and his team made an impossibly difficult situation as peaceful and dignified as possible for our precious girl. From the very first phone call, Dr. Pearce demonstrated genuine compassion and understanding. When we needed to reschedule, there was never any pressure or inconvenience on their part. He took the time to help us navigate the toughest decision any pet parent has to make - knowing when it's time to let our best friend go. When the day arrived, Dr. Pearce never rushed us. He allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye, showing the kind of empathy that made all the difference during such an emotional moment. Having had a difficult experience with another veterinarian previously, I can honestly say this experience was 1000 times better. Our girl was able to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by love. The care didn't end there. After the holiday weekend, the dr. Pearce wife personally brought our girl back home. The thoughtful presentation meant everything - they had carefully prepared paw prints in both carbon (framed) and clay, included a heartfelt sympathy letter, and presented her urn with such care and respect. In the midst of losing my best friend, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Pearce and his team understand that our pets are family, and they treated us - and our girl - with the dignity and compassion we needed during this incredibly difficult time. If you're facing this heartbreaking decision, I cannot recommend this service highly enough. They will help you give your beloved companion the peaceful, loving farewell they deserve. **Thank you for helping us honor our girl's memory with such grace and kindness.**

Thank you to Dr. Pearce and his wife for making the hardest decision I've ever had to make, a little bit easier to cope and deal with. The compassion and care he showed to my boy Rocco in his final moments will always be remembered. I would highly recommend Dr Pearce.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Pearce at Serenity Pet Euthanasia. This was the hardest decision we had to make for our 13 year old kidney cat Ziggy and Dr. Pearce was so gentle and kind from the minute he walked through our door. He gave us so much grace and space to feel the pain we were feeling while giving us words of comfort that we were doing this in the most comfortable and painless way possible for our baby. This decision came unexpectedly and Dr. Pearce was available and accommodating to our schedule and needs. We can't thank him and his wife enough for how comforting they made this extremely difficult experience. We will cherish the mementos of our babies paw prints forever! Thank you, Dr. Pearce!

e recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Porter, and while it was one of the hardest moments of our lives, we are incredibly grateful to have had the support of Serenity's at home service. Knowing Porter was able to pass peacefully in the comfort of his own home -- his safe space -- brought us a sense of comfort during such a heartbreaking time. Dr. Pearce was truly exceptional. He was professional, warm, and compassionate-- treating Porter with the utmost respect and care from the moment he arrived. His presence helped bring a sense of peace to a very emotional day, and we will always be thankful for that. Everything was handled with such thoughtfulness and care, from the timely return of Porter's ashes to the beautiful clay and ink paw prints that we now treasure deeply. Thank you Jessica for bringing him back home to us. These keepsakes mean so much to our family. Thank you for making an incredibly painful experience just a little bit gentler, and for honoring Porter with such dignity. Much Love, The Temples (Porter too )

Dr Pearce home visit for our dog Abby euthanasia in Gold Canyon

My family and I were grateful that we got connected with Dr. Pearce/Serenity Pet Euthanasia Services after searching online for a mobile veterinarian to assist us in helping our poodle Abby be put to rest. He called me right back & was very kind on the phone. Very professional. His prices were fair. We have had to put 2 other dogs to sleep over the last several years but hadn't had someone come to our home before. He came all the way to Gold Canyon early at 6 AM to provide this service. Thank you, Dr. Pearce.

Making the decision for our sweet Luna was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. Dr. Pearce was so kind and caring, walked us thru every step. He made sure Luna was comfortable and at peace. We are so thankful for his kindness in a very difficult time for our family. When she was brought back home by Jessica, Dr. Pearce's lovely wife we were surprised by the beautiful letter and her precious paw prints. This is not an easy thing to go through but We highly recommend Serenity.

Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better.

He got kennel cough while at the shelter. Got him meds. They followed up w/me and I told them he was still coughing a lot but I know it takes 1-3 weeks to clear. They had me come back in, took him back and came out telling me they checked the same exact things they checked the first visit and everything looked great. Yeah, I know that, why are you charging me $85 to check everything again when that's not even what I brought him in for? That's just insane and lazy in my opinion. Absolutely nothing I brought him in for was addressed. They wanted to charge me $80 for a vaccine offered for 50% less in multiple locations near me. $400 for an x-ray for kennel cough (diagnosed by them) because he was still coughing yet also agreed that it takes 1-3 weeks to recover. So why are you offering to have an x ray done when it hasn't been the full recovery time?? That you told me and acknowledged? Just because employees are nice and your office is clean and comfortable, doesn't mean it's an exceptional place to take your pets. Actions speak louder- the vet didn't even address the issue the visit was scheduled for. Period.

The Yelp! review was good as well. I appreciated that service options were clearly explained on the website and that I could make the appointment and payment in one sitting, all online. This may not work well for people who are not sure what they want and/or prefer to talk to a person. But I knew what service I wanted and, frankly, was not in the mood to talk to anyone or to be waiting for someone to return my call, so this was perfect for me. Dr. Michelle Schack was wonderful. She texted the night before to confirm the appointment and to ask if we had any questions. She arrived on time and was professional and thoughtful. She was very efficient but did not rush us in any way. She explained what she was doing, what was happening to our dog, and what to expect throughout the process. The whole process was peaceful. Our dog was heavily sedated first and then the injection to stop her heart was given. I got to hold her for the whole thing. I didn't know then if that was a good idea or not--the experience of losing your dog in your own arms can be quite traumatizing for some. But in my case, knowing that she was not alone when she passed gives me a lot of peace and helps me grieve, so I am grateful. In-home euthanasia was a great idea because we did not have to put our dog under additional stress by taking her to the vet (she hated riding in a car) and we could "participate" as we felt most comfortable (I got to hold her, my daughter had space to excused herself to when it got too much, our cat was hiding at first but came out and sniffed on the dog's foot after she passed). It would also have been much harder if we had to drive from the vet to an empty house. We are very happy with the choice we made and grateful for the service that Gentle Journey provided.

Our veterinarian was Tali T in Phoenix and I HIGHLY recommend her. She was patient, explained everything with care and attention before beginning, and allowed me to pace the appointment. She didn't rush me at all. I also loved that she didn't seem to try to fill the space or give me sentiments. She sat with me in my grief. It was such a wonderful gift. Tali went above and beyond by clipping my girls hair and putting it in a keepsake jar provided by her and helping me to make nose and paw impressions with materials I had purchased. She helped me tenderly place my pup into her final resting place in my yard and slipped out quietly so that I could have my last moments with her. About 3 weeks after my pets death, I received a hand written note in the mail from Tali. It was such a kind hearted, wonderful note. I don't know how I got so lucky to have this angel by my side through my pups death, but I am so grateful I did. I recommend saying your goodbyes prior to that injection, as they can become very limp, and you may question if they're still with you. I don't want anyone to experience that moment surprisingly. As I was within 35 miles of them, there was no travel fee. And I was very happy to hear that Lasting Paws would be who would handle the cremation; I worked with them on our other cat and was very impressed with their presentation. Dr. Tiffany was a complete sweetheart, and we felt her empathy throughout the entire process. I had my girl for 19 years and couldn't imagine saying goodbye any other way than here in our home. Noticing our girl's arthritis was getting worse, and the light in her eyes was not what it once was, we decided it was time to let our girl rest in peace. After much research/phone calls, we decided on Peaceful Passing to come to our home. We had to schedule about a week and a half out (quite daunting to know a date was coming), and we took care of payment in advance. The day of, they called us asking how we would like to remit payment (ugh). I made flower leis for our girl and my toddler son to wear, as we wanted to have her collar, and we waited for the call that the Dr was about 10 min out...then I broke down. After the Dr came, and she was at peace, we spent some time with her saying goodbye. She was taken with her blanket she was on, and we requested for it back. When it came time to pick her up, there was no blanket (I realized when I got home). I called, and they said they would look into it. A couple days later, they said it's ready to be picked up and they found it; I got it, and it smelled strong like Tide...which we don't use. After my mind went crazy with assumptions, I called them asking for an explanation; the blanket was washed because of bodily fluids, and they sent it home with another family! I was so sad that it didn't have her smell anymore, and that they mixed that up, and didn't tell me. My trust for them really went out the window with this ending...and wasn't really impressed with their presentation (we got a white gift bag, no writing, and a tin box).
