The mixed drinks are way too sweet and expensive, so we opted for Ketel One with club and a splash of cranberry for $11; that's reasonable. The hot honey wings were really good, but the wings were so small for $15. And the tiki torch pizza was like eating a focaccia; it was dense, pillowy, and heavy, not thin and crispy. The toppings of red onion, pepperoni, and hot honey were so minuscule. The size was an 8-inch personal pizza that's obviously not worth spending $20 on. Come hang out, get a drink, enjoy the breeze, the views, and music, but don't order the overpriced food; eat somewhere else. Service was good.

Our server was lacking. There was one menu and and drink menu on the table when we seated ourselves and had to ask her to bring a second menu and she never actually did. We each ordered a drink and mine tasted like it had zero alcohol while my friend received an extra floater shot of dark rum in her Miami vice that she ultimately returned and had it replaced. We ordered nachos and queso and the cheese was good but not nearly enough for the amount of chips we were provided. My friend also asked for sour cream and that came out with the dinners we ordered when she wanted it for the nacho chips. I got the shrimp tacos and they were fine but two tacos was not even remotely filling. My meal came with nachos so the decision was made to order more cheese which is totally over priced at $5.99 that came I'm a small plastic ramekin-highway robbery if you ask me! My friend had ordered a pulled pork sandwhich that was supposed to come with coleslaw and didn't. Our server was missing in action that we flagged down another server who went and got the Cole slaw that should have come with her meal. Please do better next time, although I have no desire to return if I'm being totally honest.

The service and food were good and I thought I finally found a place that actually knows how to make San Diego style Mexican food. I brought my family back the second time and the service was slow. The food was not as good but adequate. Today was terrible. We phoned in the order and were quoted 20 mins. It took me 20 mins to get there and I waited another 20 mins when I got there. They had 5 people in the restaurant. The server did give me a 20 dollar gift card which would be great if the fucking food wasn't absolutely awful. I wish I were making this up but my damn dog wouldn't even eat it when we gave it to her.We ordered California burritos and we each took two bites and threw the rest away. The meat was insanely dry, the shredded cheese inside wasn't melted which suggests they're not making these fresh they're assembling them. And browning them on the grill afterwards. Terrible idea. Dryest, most disgusting burrito I've ever eaten. Additionally, the first time I ate there they put guac, sour cream, and pico inside the burrito. None of those ingredients today. JIC they're reading this, a California burrito is carne or pollo asado, cheese, pico, French fries, avocado or guac and sour cream. This was dry ass old meat, unmelted cheese and chunks of mealy tomatoes. The good news is, if the quality stays like this they won't be open much longer. Absolutely awful, will not go back.

Update (April 2026)…read more Came back on a Sunday around 3PM, and the service did a full 180. We were seated quickly, and our server Erin was on it. Great attitude, attentive, and things actually came out in a timely manner. Love to see it. I ordered a mojito and they did not play in my face. Made it properly with club soda instead of Sprite, so points were definitely earned there. Now... the food? Yeah, we need to talk. We ordered the brunch special, oxtails with biscuits and gravy. First of all, I'm almost positive that was pot roast in an oxtail costume. Let's start there. The biscuits? Giving frozen-from-a-bag, baked a little too long for good measure. But the real villain of the plate was that gravy. Because what do you mean this clearly didn't come from the meat? It tasted like it came straight out of a jar... probably store brand at that. And I'm just confused because gravy is literally one of the easiest things to make if you already cooked the meat. Why are we cutting corners here? So yes, we were seated quickly, treated well, and the drinks were solid. But the food? Absolutely not. If you're coming here hungry and expecting a good meal (which I was), please eat before you arrive. If you're coming for drinks, music, and a good vibe, then you'll have a great time.

There's also a parking garage right across the street as well. You have to pay to park in both areas. The Shack is a fun, outdoor space that serves food and drinks. They specialize in the infamous 'Orange Crush' and they also have a DJ on certain days as well. As soon as we arrived, we ordered our food and grabbed drinks. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and my daughter decided on the Grilled Chicken Skewers. While we waited, we grabbed our drinks. The bartender was very nice and the Creamsicle Crush was absolutely amazing!!! It didn't take too long for our food to be served. It did start to rain while we were out there but thankfully, there was seating with large umbrellas so we didn't get wet. I enjoyed my Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Grilled Chicken Skewers were very good. While we ate, the DJ played some good hits as well. Overall, we had a great time! Even though it did rain, we enjoyed ourselves and we'll definitely be back.

The weather was kind to us and the drinks were crushing. You can really make a day out of it with the fun games they provide. Connect 4, jumbo Jenga and cornhole is what I saw. My only small issue is I wish it was adult only experience. While there someone with a crying baby was also there and it dampened the mood. I get it mom and dad wanted a drink too but maybe they should pick somewhere more children friendly next time.

I asked him for a drink recommendation and he was quick and accurate in terms of recommending drinks he thinks I would like Drinks: Pretty good. The Negroni wasn't too bitter and had a good taste to it. I asked the waiter for a drink that was refreshing but not too sweet. He recommended the Lucille which was spot on. Food: This is where I was disappointed. Happy we went during happy hour because none of the food was worth full price. The chicharrones looked like store bought pork rinds and tasted like it too. The potstickers tasted like the frozen ones you get from the grocery store. The shrimp ceviche was essentially tasteless. Once the jalapeño ice cream melted, it tasted a little better but I wish they had served it with more onions and lime to give it more flavor. The goat cheese and olive was good but nothing special. I wish they gave us more bread REPLY TO BUSINESS OWNER: WOW, that was an extremely unprofessional reply. None of the cocktails we ordered were vodka redbull. Thanks for replying and letting me know to never return!
