Maybe it's the hypnosis, but when I walked in this establishment I was in a trance-like state... it's gorgeous inside.
Kudos to the designer/contractor.
This place was under several names, but since a few weeks, this place is now a club/lounge/restaurant, Hypnotics!
After having a not so good experience down the street, we decided to check out this new place the city had to offer.
We were greeted by security once we walked in the door. A big friendly guy... he checked us in and hoped we'd have a good time.
Once you are in, there are several tables with chairs that serve as the 'restaurant' set up. But if you keep walking towards the back, you will see fantasy, hypnotic blue vibes through the sliding door(s).
It's gorge!!
The vibe was inviting, airy, I loved everything about it.
The server JaQuay (spelling maybe off) was an awesome! He kept checking on us throughout the night and even had some great recommendations and gave us much insight of the restaurant.
We also met Soe, the Manager. Super cute and was pleasant as well.
Our drinks and meals were good. We understand the restaurant offers cheesesteak egg rolls... we will definitely return to try them.
We arrived during happy hour, 5pm to 8pm. And all drinks were half off during this time and about 5 items were featured on the menu.
We had the hot wings with fries and two orders of the egg rolls... no complaints here.
The waitstaff seemed to all work as a unit and I loved seeing this.
About 8pm, the DJ, DJ Hipp I believe was his name, he was set by 8pm and by this time the crowd doubled within 30 minutes.
Overall, I loved our night here. We arrived shortly before 7pm and was able to snag a bar top table for two and we did not leave until 10pm... maybe a little before or after.
Nevertheless, parking can get thick by 9pm so I suggest you arrive early.
But if you are into the RnB and Hip Hop scene, check out this spot.
I believe this place offers specialty nights during the week as well as brunch on the weekends.
Have fun and enjoy life :) read more
