So the manager walked us around and explained things for his thinning hair. Shampoo and conditioner. And how to use it so it will help his hair stop thinning and grow back thicker. And then she found us a product to put on his hair after shampooing. To help it be more curly. And we got him a hair dryer too with a diffuser. I am hopeful he will watch YouTube videos to see how to work this, and the nice products will help him! Also, we got him a brush. When we got back home, I took out half of the bristles from the brush at the manager's suggestion. And then I put the product on his hair and scrunched it up. His hair looks so much better already. The employee proceeded to walk by the door several times with her phone in her hand and waited until 10:02AM to finally let me in. When she let me in it was by opening the lock on the door and walking away. She didn't even speak to me as I walked into the store. I was going to but 2 cases of perms and a color kit but instead got exactly what I needed and proceeded to check out. The staff member didn't even speak to me as I checked out. I told the greeter I was there for pickup and was directed to stand in a line of about 10 people. That alone defeats the entire purpose of ordering online. After I pushed back, she called for help. Another associate came over...only to tell me the exact same thing, to get in line. At that point, I said cancel the order and started to leave. As I'm walking out, she says "you can cancel the order" in a dismissive tone. So I walked back in and asked for the manager. Of course, the person giving the attitude was the manager, Blanca. Instead of resolving anything, she tells me she's busy helping another customer and can't grab my order. Then follows me to the door continuing to explain how busy the store is and that they've had "issues." None of that is the customer's problem. What's wild is that the store was full of associates, yet no one could take 30 seconds to retrieve a prepaid order. No ownership. No urgency. No accountability. I canceled my order with customer service immediately after and will not be returning to this location. If you actually want a seamless experience, go to Tysons Corner, One Loudoun, or Mosaic instead.

When I called it was news to me as the owner said they had never used the type of braids I brought in and how the owner had already expressed to the braider that it looked loose, ( I never heard that conversation because they constantly talk to each other in their own native language when clearly they know I'm looking right at them but have no clue what they are discussing).I think the time to communicate that was when I showed them the hair I wanted to use for the style. They happily took my full payment no comments to me that she thought my braids were too loose but that it actually was not enough hair and if I got more I could bring it in to add. I honestly could go on and on. I don't like to write complaints it was hard for me to write this one. I asked for a refund as I could not come back in their time frame and they were booked for the entire weekend. I would have been satisfied with even a partial refund but NO the owner continued with accusations. This lack of accountability and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. The owner should seriously reassess her business practices. I personally know several salon owners who are willing to go above and beyond for their clients. I do not recommend spending your money at this establishment. I have no intention of returning to this salon in the future. I hope no one has to go through the disappointment I did.
