TLDR: New salon doesn't honor appointments and will take walk-in customers with more expensive…read moreservices ahead of customers that have appointments but less expensive services scheduled. They will make you wait close to an hour and grab people ahead of you without any consideration. I had a 10A appointment that I made on their opening day last week. When I arrived, you could tell that they were terribly behind. If they're taking walk-ins, they will have to have them wait until they're sure those with appointments are being seen on time. Check-in should be more efficient. You're able to check in with your phone number and your list of services are on the screen. Mine were all wrong and I tried to fix them but the list would not display the correct service. One of the employees was able to assist me. We waited for over 45 minutes. They came around to ask us for our beverage orders - you receive a free beverage with any service. After twenty minutes I asked one of the staff how long the wait would be and she told me that they're waiting for a free technician. I asked if they were taking walk-ins and she said walk-ins are better. When I first arrived, three people were already waiting. After I initially sat down, at least ten women entered after me. I told the lady that I had an appointment and she said someone would take me soon. We were waiting twenty-five more minutes and I witnessed them take customer after customer in before us, and I realized that they were taking customers ahead of us that had more expensive services, like gel manis or gel mani/pedis. I got fed up and went back to the front and the woman apologized - I cut her off and said that I know they're taking customers ahead of me that are getting more experience services, and that they should fix that very soon because it doesn't matter what the service is, if a customer has an appointment and arrives before a walk-in, it's ridiculous to take the walk-in AFTER an appointment customer. They will learn that isn't going to fly. My daughter was very excited to have a mama and me spa day and to get her nails done ahead of the holiday. I received several text notifications reminding me about my appointment so their system was honoring my appointment even if they didn't in person. My daughter and I left and drove the several minutes to Jess Nails in Pelham. No appointment and we have to wait a but, but no one was taken ahead of us and our nails look great!
