An awesome array of interesting and innovative brands and products in a clean, bright and no pressure environment to try...Upon my arrival, I was kindly greeted by an associate. It was easy and free to park on the shopping center parking.

On the smallish side. Testers looked clean and grunge free, and there were plenty of applicators available. The only thing that sucked is the staff was so inanimate that they looked like prison guards staring at everyone.

I am taking the time to write this for what was CLEARLY a one star experience, however, I want to…read morediscuss the second star first. Some months ago I was looking for a particular cosmetic item. I wandered into Neiman Marcus and was greeted by staff at the front of the store. They didn't have what I wanted but they were charming and friendly all the same, and although I didn't really go into Neiman enough to review then, I want to give credit where it is due. This weekend, however, I was on a mission. And that mission was shoes. (Granted, it's often my mission, I even have a blog about shoes.) I was not my finest. It is THE MALL. So I shunned my Feragamos for some comfy Rockports (if you want to wear those stilettos you love so much in old age, you don't want to wear them ALL THE TIME. Your feet with thank me) and did a little couture-a-thon. I love the Natick Collection, on whole, because you can visit all of these high end shops and departments stores without looking and acting like a snob and still receive genuine, warm customer service. Except, apparently, at Neiman Marcus. The "gentleman" in the shoe department did not acknowledge my presence, despite the fact that I was lingering and checking out shoes for a while. I didn't expect attention right away, as he was catering to another woman when I walked over, but when another woman appeared some time after me, in a perfectly pressed shirt and Tory Burch flats he IMMEDIATELY flitted over to her and asked if she needed any help, abandoning the first woman. Um. HELLO. I'm right here. It was a very "Pretty Woman" moment. I looked over to him and the look he shot back at me felt like disdain. This, of course, was hysterical. I really hope this guy makes commission, because I spend more on shoes than some people spend on cars and houses. I headed over to men's where my shopping companion was having a much friendlier experience and told him the story. For shame, Neiman Marcus, for shame. Additionally, the selection was very sparse. Only a few pair from any given designer, and, in many cases, not the most recent offerings from that designer. Did I mention my obsession with shoes yet? Anyway, I won't be back. Ever. PS Dear Shoe Guy: You sell shoes. Get off your high horse. Also, you are WAY too old for that hair. (In other news, I CLEANED UP at Nordstrom.)

Neiman Marcus at the Natick Mall is a exceptional location. We do not have a Neiman Marcus outside…read moreof the Natick Mall and Boston for the entire state of Massachusetts. For this reason, it is a long drive to get to Natick and shop there. It was well worth it, we were warmly greeted by a very attentive Victoria in the fragrances section. We went in knowing exactly what we wanted although she insisted that we keep a open mind and try the scent of other *creed* scents. We tried them, and were pleasantly surprised as to the variety. Victoria was excellent, engaging, and courteous. Customer service is difficult, Neiman Marcus clearly has the training down as i did observe all other representatives performing the same routine with lots of attention and quality. Previous reviews and lower star reviews have a common theme, and it is that the person feels as if net-worth dictates treatment. That the representative or the staff must cater to your arrogance level. "I have this, i spend this, therefore you should treat me better than anyone else" It's absurd and toxic to the community.

This Macy's is honestly huge in my opinion (not quite like NYC but it's up there!). I come here year round and they seem to always have deals. Their women's dress section is huge -- it feels like they've got something for every occasion, same with their shoe, jewelry, makeup, bedding, and home sections! Honestly I feel like they have it all? I can only imagine how hard it might be to keep up with stock and yet everytime I'm there, it feels fully stocked and organized. Sometimes you have to walk a little to find a register with someone working it, but that's the price you pay for finding good deals! I just went last night for some casual Christmas shopping all to find an ENTIRE SECTION of quality Christmas stuff at 70% off. I almost thought it was a mistake. A happy Sophie indeed.

I have bought many sweaters as well as Summer clothing from this location and the things that I have bought have always been of excellent quality. I get a lot of Macy's coupons in the mail and they always come in handy when I am shopping here. I score some good deals in the store with the sales they run here as well as with the coupons that I receive. I also enjoy shopping the cosmetic counters at this location and the sales clerks behind the counters always have excellent product recommendations for skincare, cosmetics and fine fragrances. The store is always neat, clean and products nicely arranged so the store is very pleasant to shop in. I always look forward to visiting this location.

I make a point of visiting this store every time I visit the Natick Mall…read more There are many beautifully fragranced soaps, lotions, perfumes, creams and oils here. They also have a few facial care, bath and body accessories. I believe I did see some haircare products in this store as well but I am not 100% sure on that. They have great little hand creams also, that they sell either on their own or in sets, especially around the holidays. These hand creams that I have bought there before are travel sized and are a good way to explore their various scents without having to buy the larger size at first. My favorite fragrance lines in the whole store are definitely the Lavender and the Almond. In fact if you are looking for a good shower oil then definitely go with their Almond shower oil. It is very moisturizing and luxurious. The quality of the items they sell there is excellent. But getting back to my review of the store itself, it is an amazingly well organized and clean store with products neatly displayed in a way that really says that the employees there take very good care of the place. The customer service is good here and the sales staff will always assist you if you are not quite sure what you are looking for or you can't find a product that you were planning to buy. They will also help you decide on new skincare routines using their products if you are in a beauty rut and are looking for a new product line to start using. Another thing that really helps here is that they let you try products out for yourself to let you get a feel for the products before you decide whether or not to purchase any items you are looking at. This is also another place where every so often they run gift with purchase events in which you'll spend at least a certain amount and they will present you with a free goodie bag with several travel sized products. I like this because sometimes the gifts have products in them that I never would have thought of buying and now that they came in the gift I get to own small containers of them so I can decide whether to add them to my bath/body/facial routines. The people at the registers as well as the people on the sales floor are always friendly and make you aware of any specials going on in the store. Sometimes, during the quieter hours in the store (weekday mornings and such) the same person working the sales floor will be working the registers as well and they consistently do a good job at handling both and making sure customers are pleased. I always look forward to coming here and I always leave the store satisfied and happy.
