Castilli Salon, even though they're practically booked for the summer, squeezed me in for an appointment with Lauren within a week of me desperately looking to get my hair fixed. To fit me into her schedule, she also worked out of her availability and stayed late on a Friday!! Like what!! It wasn't even like I was a loyal client. I was just a desperate new client looking for any help with my hair. Lauren truly took the time to understand what I wanted I was hoping to achieve hair color wise prior to coloring. She was super knowledgeable, told the truth (for example, we didn't do low lights because she didn't want to damage my hair after recently getting it colored at a different salon a week ago), and really took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. I've never felt so comfortable at a salon right from the jump. Melissa is awesome too and it felt like I was hanging with my two friends while getting my hair done. I loved that Lauren is a perfectionist and didn't let me leave until we were both satisfied. What followed was the single worst salon experience I've ever had--and ended up costing me $415 (before tip), with no prior explanation or consent about the massive upcharges. I walked in with previously well-blended brunette highlights and asked Amanda to eliminate brassiness, brighten the tone, and cover my greys. I left with blotchy copper hair, visible bleach spots around my hairline, and grey roots still showing. Amanda was kind, but it quickly became clear she either didn't understand what I was asking for or didn't have the skill to execute it. The color application was heavy handed in some spots and uneven in others. Meanwhile, the receptionist/manager loudly carried on a personal speakerphone call in the middle of the salon, making it an actively stressful and unprofessional environment. When I raised concerns about the obvious spotting around my hairline--Amanda "toned" the spots and I was brushed off by the receptionist, told it looked great at the end, and then hit with a bill that more than doubled the advertised special. None of the upcharges were disclosed in advance. I followed up with corporate and provided photos and a detailed account. The response I received was defensive, condescending, and riddled with false claims. They implied that I asked for services I never requested (like a caramel color or additional toner), and blamed me for my dissatisfaction. I was stunned by the lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude from their corporate team. Not only did they fail to take ownership, they demonstrated zero understanding of basic customer service. I have respectfully asked for a refund and they stated they will only "redo" my hair to which I declined - no way would I step foot in there again. This entire experience has been infuriating and costly--I had to go to my regular colorist to fix the damage, spending another $300. I will never return to Dellaria and strongly urge others to beware of their misleading pricing, poor service, and complete lack of customer care.

Add 10 for tip but still very reasonable for the area Cons: * the woman doing my nails was a bit aggressive with the cuticle pushing - maybe the edges of my nails are more sensitive than most people's but I would recommend asking them to be gentle * The phone! The phone! The phone! Every few minutes the salon's phone would ring and it was hooked up to the surround speaker system so the entire store would basically have this alarm sound every few minutes. They also could really benefit from another employee because each time the phone rang someone's pedicure was interrupted by the owner needing to get up and answer it Will be back. Really good deal and quality manicure/pedicure. They just need to make a few small fixes -- be gentler and figure out a less disruptive phone system.
