The facility is very clean and beautiful. Cons: I booked for a prenatal massage. I am 7 months pregnant and extremely achy and sore. I work 9 hours a day at an office so i have a bad back, shoulders and with the pregnancy horribly sore feet. That is usually all I need to say for a massage therapist to know what to work on. I have received amazing prenatal massaged throughout my pregnancy, and i am familiar with all the spas and resorts throughout the valley. Although very kind, I feel this masseuse did not pay attention to the areas of concern I highlighted on the intake form, and that we spent time discussing before hand. There was no specialized attention to these areas, and the pressure was extremelyyy light. I am a very shy person and do not like confrontation at all, There were two times I ALMOST got the courage to speak up to see if she can work harder or deeper on my back and feet and by the time i was about to she was moving on. I actually feel like she spent more time on my front side, which should not be the case if we talked about my back and neck. I spent close to $160 after tip to basically have lotion rubbed on my whole body very very lightly. I picked this place based on the 5 starts review, and it seems to be a better option of you are looking for a facial, or maybe the head spa, but the massage was not therapeutic at all. She started the refund process and said she would have the regional manager get back to me. I was sent a text message but I have been in shut down mode as money is tight and that absolutely ruined my plans for feeding myself and getting to places I needed to be. Today, I conversed with the regional manager, Ivori and no positive resolution was given. Hi, Skin refunded the membership fee but I'm still out -12.52 because of the overdraft fee. Not okay. I signed a contract. This shouldn't have happened. I loved coming here. The gal I had, Kaitlyn, left but she was fantastic. It was the one hour a month I got to treat myself. However, I have disabilities that required I make a choice of putting my account on hold or taking care of myself. I signed the waiver on the 14th after receiving it on the 13th and thought I was in the clear until April as it says in the form. I was happily a member for like 3 years and even worked with them personally. Lo was awesome. During my consultation, I was encouraged to try Jeuveau instead because it was on sale. I explained that I had previously tried Jeuveau for nearly a year at another med spa and did not love the longevity or the results, but I was still encouraged to move forward with it. I contacted the spa because I was already noticing movement returning in my face in the first 4-6 weeks and was disappointed with the results, especially after spending nearly $500. I returned because I was still unhappy with the results and wanted to achieve the outcome I originally came in for. At that visit, I was charged another $450+ to finally receive Dysport. There was no real accommodation offered other than being told it was "new client pricing." At this point, I have spent close to $900 in less than four months trying to get the results I was expecting from my initial visit. What is most frustrating is that I specifically communicated my concerns about Jeuveau upfront based on my previous experience, yet I still feel like my concerns were not taken seriously and absolutely ripped off. I also received a follow-up call from a manager after expressing my disappointment. Unfortunately, the conversation left me feeling dismissed. I was told that results vary from person to person and that there would be no reimbursement or resolution. The conversation also focused on the fact that I did not come in at the two-week follow-up, but there was no issue at two weeks -- the movement and concerns developed afterward. I understand that results can vary with injectables, but I expected better communication, customer service, and accountability when a treatment was recommended despite my expressed concerns.
