She is compassionate, kind, and creates a safe space in her clinic. My skin has improved and healed drastically, the products and treatments she recommends are effective. She never recommends things without explaining first why in great detail, or without suggesting alternatives if you're on a budget. She is a kindred spirit who cares about her clients overall wellbeing and really takes her time with each person to address their needs. I had been to dermatologists in the past and felt like that experience was impersonal and honestly, a waste of my time and so sadly disappointing. I was so depressed when I first walked in and Jessica made me feel at home right away, and for each visit after. She has made a HUGE difference in my skin and she's also someone who has great energy. I'm going to continue to see her for all my skin needs! I truly feel that this place is more than "skin deep", it has been healing in a deeply personal way , and I'm so grateful for her help and guidance. Highly recommend this place !!!!

Located off Rt 3 in the same plaza as Lash Moi and Namaste Indian restaurant. Booking an appointment was pretty straightforward, and I felt fortunate to find availability this week. What was good? Plenty of parking and a cute storefront (jewelry, hand masks, bags, etc. Gave a sort of co-op feeling as there is also a hairdresser on site. Areas for improvement: Talk to the client, explain what will be involved in the facial, and advise them at every step. For example, when I put on a mask, you might feel some tingling. Probably the worst thing was this was a "dry facial". I inquired about this at the end, and she said she "wet her fingers and used a warm towel because she was concerned about my lashes." This was substandard service at best. There was mask residue on my neck and in my hairline. No lip balm at the conclusion of the service. Did not mention after-care instructions, whether sunscreen was applied, no lip balm or hand massage. Not sure if it is because she is untrained, unfamiliar with other skin types, or didn't care. I will not be returning.

I hate to give MD Dermatology 1 star; the doctor and all staff are wonderful (I go to the Edgewater…read moreoffice), but their billing system is terrible, their billing personnel are incompetent, and I have concerns that they are committing insurance fraud. If you are a patient here, please scrutinize every invoice you receive very carefully. I could write a book on how many times I've been double billed for a procedure, been charged for a procedure that I shouldn't have been charged for, and finally, an invoice I paid in their office back in April that I continue to receive every month. No one in their billing office can seem to make this problem go away and there's just no excuse for that. I had billing issues with them back in 2019 also. Please, please beware and scrutinize all charges on all invoices you receive from this facility.

She's been very upset about her acne and he only lectured her and basically said he cant help her if she doesn't come in every month. Last time we saw him, he never mentioned bringing her in every month. She also has an issue with some discoloring nails that he was suppose to look at but when we brought it up, he said to schedule an appointment to have her nails clipped. I mentioned that they already did that at another doctor office and so he said to have them send her records. I didn't find out until later when I had left that the dermatology office was suppose to have me fill out a records request form so I had to go back and request the form. We paid a $30.00 copay, sat and waited for 30min for the doctor to look at her for two minutes with not the best attitude, he prescribed her the same acne treatment as before which didn't help. and he didn't bother to look at her nails. Was a very disappointing appointment and they seem to only care about money and not you.

This practice is easily THE BEST in the Annapolis area - possibly the entire state!…read more I was able to get an appointment within the same week. When I arrived, Pam took my information and co-pay and asked me to have a seat in the waiting room. Pam is efficient, polite and a pleasure to deal with. I only waited 5 minutes past my appointment time before I was taken to an exam room by an assistant, Grace. Again, efficient and polite. The staff at WellAve is awesome. After a few minutes, Erin Brimhall, came in to perform the exam. She quickly diagnosed this gross thing on my neck and froze it off right then and there. I also have some weird thing going on with my arms. Erin recommended a steroid tape and told me how much my pharmacy would probably charge - $55 (she was correct, BTW). She told me if it was $55 and I didn't want to pay that much, she could prescribe a less expensive medication and to just let her know if I wanted to go that route. Erin first recommended the tape because it's way easier to work with than the topical cream. Good recommendation. She asked that I follow up in 6 weeks so she could check that gross thing on my neck again. Erin has a terrific bedside manner and doesn't rush through the exam. She takes time to be thorough and answers your questions. Back to Pam, who found me an appointment 6 weeks out at a convenient time. These people get it. When you make an appointment, you expect to be taken as close to your appointment time as possible. So many other practices just don't seem to care if they waste your time. Add the promptness to the capable, efficient and polite staff, and you've found the best dermatology practice in the area.

I love the treatments because they are comprehensive and consist of a variety of steps that all serve a purpose. This is not just a mask you can do yourself at home. Also, Lyn is the BEST at extractions. She knows exactly what she's doing so your face doesn't get beat up and it's not too painful. Lastly, I'm going through brow rehab to move my arch more towards the outer corner of my eye and I'm very satisfied with the progress. My brows are lush and manicured and slowly but surely turning into the correct shape.

She remembered me which made me feel special. This time around my brows weren't as bad off, but they will still need some work. I wouldn't trust anyone else but Lynn to give me brows to be envied. Lynn is an expert as what she does. She knows her stuff, and by stuff I don't just mean brows. She is a professional esthetician, who is more than willing to not only serve you but give you free advice to help whatever skincare/ health journey you're on. I was told by their staff that they would honor my expired Groupon for the services listed and happily made my appointment. During my appt, the doctor recommended I add on more. I decided to add on $140 of services. The doctor confirmed that what I wanted would be an extra $140 over my groupon to which I agreed. This was a splurge for me, so I made doubly sure this was accurate. It wasn't until after my appointment that they changed their mind and said they would not honor the promotional value of my groupon and I was charged $245 instead! I was sure this was an error and they would honor what I was told before my appointment AND during my appointment. But they will not. I've received numerous emails and calls from Sonya, who just tells me that they don't honor expired Groupons. "That's not our policy" is not an excuse to mislead your customers into adding on services while being dishonest about the cost. I know what I was told by staff. They said my groupon would be honored for the services listed, period. I should pay what I was told the services would cost even if staff gave me incorrect information. A good business practice is being upfront about the cost of services. I can only assume now that this "mistake" was actually intentional. I will take my business elsewhere.
