Don't wait one more second not liking your brows!…read more If you are unhappy with your brows, get yourself over to Derma-Artistry. I've had my brows tatooed for years and they were always O.K. They got darker and I thought that was as good as it gets. Then Twyla at Derma-Artistry in Bowie, MD. did them, and now I know how my eyebrows should look. I'm THRILLED with them. She tatooed them into a fantastic shape, full and dark like I wanted....they look better than they ever have IN MY LIFE. Twyla is a professional; she is so good at this difficult profession and I will never, ever go anywhere else. Her procedure room is spotless, charming and comfortable. Good music plays in the background as she works, and she is so careful as she makes them look JUST how you wanted. Her prices are fair, she's thoughtful and sweet and thorough, and I truly can't say enough about the experience. She's the very very best. And I have been to many.

I was greeted all over by friendly employees giving me the scoop on other deals the store had. The markdowns were 75% off for pumpkin scented stuff and 50% off pn a lot of stuff! I found great deals all over and I was finally happy to use gift cards from my birthday and Christmas. I stocked up on candles, lotions, shower gels, glitter sprays because I love love glitter. The aroma therapy stuff was $6 a true bargain! I checked out and I saw that I had an expired coupon from two days ago and they honored it! Hello! The cashier then told me she had a better coupon for me since I was balling. This store was fully stocked and checking out was a breeze and I was given another nice coupon for next time! I don't usually tell people my secrets, but since y'all can clearly keep a secret, and we're all Yelp family (well, most of us) I thought I would share. This beauty supply store is jam packed with every little thing your heart desires for all of your beauty care needs. Everything from wigs and bundles, to nail polish and earrings, to hats and flip flops, to oil sheen and hair grease....name it, they have it. Friendly operated by employees that don't ever mind helping you find any item you're searching for and they always do it with a smile. Some of the prices can be a little on the steep side, but I rarely go to a beauty supply store that isn't costly. It's conveniently located and it has a wide selection of items. Everything is always neatly organized on the shelves/aisles and the shelves are always fully stocked. The Beauty House never fails me, that's why I'm a repeat customer. So now that my secret is out, stop through and see what they have to offer. You won't be disappointed.

I like the variety of products available, including the costume jewelry. However, I have been to…read morethis store on two separate occasions and purchased small earrings in addition to large items, and both times, when I got home, the earrings were not in the bag. If the family store owners were ringing up my purchases with the small items included, they would never be issues. Unfortunately, I have only experienced this scenario with their outside-hired cashiers. There are cameras in the store, but I am sure the staff all know where they are strategically placed in position. SMH...... Also, the lead cashier, who wasn't a family member of this business, wanted me to walk behind the counter to view their cameras. However, it remained unclear; it looked like the receipt, not the item. I didn't ask the cashier to zoom in on the camera. So, I chalked it up as a loss for the second time as a mistake on my part. I will be more mindful to ensure no more repeats. I will check my bags before leaving the store to avoid further incidents. Nevertheless, the owners need to be cautious about who they hire. (A word to the wise to be sufficient)

Sometimes you can find good deals on wigs but some of the items I frequently purchase like Jamaican black castor oil, Shea Moisture, Carol's Daughter and Kinky Curly Knot Today products are at least $3-5 more expensive here than at other stores, which means I never buy them here. Maybe this is because these are more natural hair products (no sulfates, no parabens, no mineral oil, etc) or they're in high demand, I'm not really sure why they cost so much here. The makeup selection is good and they have really good pricing on perm rods, combs, brushes, etc. Just look out for the severely overpriced items because they are many in this store. I will continue to shop here for certain things but I know better than to buy others. It is what it is, ya know?!

A young lady who worked there approached us and asked us if we needed help. She kindly went to get her manager (I'm assuming) the manager walked up to us and asked my sister "what were you doing?" To which my sister responded and explained that the keys fell into the stand and we couldn't get to them. The younger lady was very kind about the entire thing. They had to use a screwdriver to open up the stand and retrieve the keys. After we got them back my sister thanked them and also apologized for the inconvenience. The younger lady was sweet and said no problem but the older lady (the manager) rolled her eyes and didn't say a word. Next time just give us the damn screw driver and we will get them ourselves. It's one thing to be annoyed but another to be rude. Maybe fix the displays so stuff like that doesn't happen in the future thanks.
