I had an appointment with Love, who is a fairly new waxer, and my girl got me right! I think this is the smoothest. My kitty cat and booty have been in the longest time. My girl did her thing. She took her time and she got this thang nice and smooth. Got me feeling like I'm really about to be outside all summer even though I have a man. Got me feeling like Hair might never grow back. Okay so I had been going to Tia for the last couple of years because she's not that far from my…read morehouse. She's not as friendly as I would like her to be but it's whatever. I kept going because she was keeping my eyebrows on the fleek status. Now, the last time I went to her, a couple of months ago, this is what happened (see pictures). I think she had just gotten back from a trip or something so we didn't even go to the basement she just pulled up a chair and did my eyebrows in the hallway. It hurt but you eyebrow threading ain't no walk in the park so I didn't think anything of it. You know how you have those tears in your eyes because of the pain and when she hands you the mirror you kind of squint and say thanks, well that's what happened. It wasn't til I got home that I saw this. She literally tore my skin off. It scabbed and such and I still have a little scar, mine you this was a couple of months ago. Low key, my eyebrows were still fleekish though. Needless to say I have never gone back and I was pretty loyal to her. Sometimes she's good other times not so much. No consistency and I can't play that game when it comes to my face. Smh. Not only that but I'm sure she saw it and I'm into integrity. If you messed me up don't just let me leave pretending everything was perfect.

I contact her and she has immediate availability. Hooray! I arrive at her home and it is lovely. We go down to her salon set up and it is large and clean. Double Hooray! So far, so good! I sit in her chair and she goes to work on my eyebrows. Five minutes later she hands me the mirror and I could not believe she had done anything to my eyebrows. There was no shape, they were still untamed, and they looked almost as bad as they did when I walked in. I smile, thank her for her services, and pay. I figured there was no point in showing dissatisfaction because I would not be comfortable allowing her to do anything further to my eyebrows. I then had to drive to the mall to find someone who could fix my eyebrows because I was not having my shapeless brows. The lady who I found in the mall to do my eyebrows did not believe me when I told her that I just got them done! Tia is a nice woman, and based on the reviews I am sure she does offer good services. She just does not give that arched brow look that I like to go for. It is not necessarily a bad thing, just my personal preference.

The beautician who worked on my brows was kind enough to ask if it was my first time getting my brows tinted, and worked with me accordingly regarding the shades based on how long I keep on a henna tint. It honestly lasted about 2 weeks max. Although, I may continue to do my own eyebrow tinting from home moving forwards. Quite a drive out, but I enjoyed my experience and the pricing here.

A smock was used that only covered the chest so hair ended up all down their back and in the collar of nape of the neck. The brush used was full of hair like it hadn't been cleaned out in a long time. The overall look of the salon was clean and nice but this specific person's work station was dusty and full of hair like they didn't clean it for a long time. It was a very poor experience for them and they won't be back.
