My first time going and she was great. I got the long ass mink lashes.....it was extremely dramatic, never got them that long ever. But they looked remarkable. Got my brows done also so which means I will be going back and it's right around the corner where I live at is even better. Just wanted to throw out a few things for you newbies wanting to try these mink lashes... 1. I've noticed by me getting these long long lashes they do shed a lot quicker than getting the shorter ones. So next time I go, I will get my minks just not as long next time. 2. This is the second place I've been to get my lashes done. It was painless and relaxing, which I enjoyed the most. 3. If your lashes gets bunched up when you wake up in the morning, take a spoolie wand (I get mines from Mac or Sephora at the stand where you try on makeup) and brush the lashes at the top vs brushing your lashes from the bottom to the top. ONLY let Sumi do your eyebrows. TRUST ME! Sumi is fantastic, but the other girls will have you leaving with some crooked asymmetrical BS. Yesterday I needed my eyebrows cleaned up and Sumi was busy doing eyelashes on someone else. I let the other woman wearing glasses (who probably needs her prescription checked) do my eyebrows because I have full brows with a pretty awesome shape, so they shouldn't be hard to mess up. Well Glasses said "challenge accepted and somehow started one eyebrow 1/4 inch too far to the left, and failed to give even the slightest arch to my right brow. When I explained that they were crooked and asked her why the hell she would remove the hair so far back instead of in line with the bridge of my nose?? She just stared at me blinking. Like a fucking idiot. Then she tried to come at me with her thread of death to remove hair from the right brow to make it match which is dumb because I do not want two commas on my face instead of my once full length eyebrows. Then she just stood there blinking hard and I never wanted to deck someone in the throat so much before. I needed to get out of there ASAP. I had to show Sumi who acknowledged that Glasses fucked them up and told me that next time she would have to do them personally. Then Glasses tried to tell me that I didn't have to pay. I insisted on paying because I don't want her dumb ass to think that she did me any favors. She needs to live with the shame that she charged money for fucked up eyebrows and that she should quit and do ANYTHING else with her life. This place gets 4 stars because of Sumi, but don't let the other women near you. read more

Came to this Silver Hill location yesterday. I met the famous Sumi and her Cohort Urrmila. Ms. Urrmila threaded and tinted my eyebrows. This location is a little small but it was chairs outside of the salon in case it got crowded. Friendly service, and I can see why Mrs. Sumi is popular she builds the rapport with her clients. Clients are definitely comfortable with her. Mrs. Urrmila did a great job on my eyebrows, and I will definitely be back. Great customer service! Their location is inside Salon Plaza just so you don't get confused looking for the name outside of the shopping center. She is the first door on the right. Moving on, I've only had my eyebrows threaded one time years ago at the mall. It hurt like hell and they weren't all that. Fast forward to over 10 years later, it still hurt like hell but they look great! I usually like getting my eyebrows done with wax and tweezers, to me it feels good, relaxing (weird I know). But I'm hoping that gives you an idea of what to expect with the threading in regards to the pain level. It hurts so bad but the precision that Sumi is able to achieve with the thread is amazing to say the least. read more

I ended up here by accident after not double checking the address, but nonetheless, the reviews encouraged me to try it. The young woman who worked on my eye brows seemed confident initially; however, she had the owner double check her work twice and that made me pretty uncomfortable. While she was working on my face, she rubbed the cotton ball on so hard it was as she was trying to sand my face off! I understand everyone trains at some point but if you have an employee training, I would appreciate a warning AHEAD of time and that it be my choice if she works on my face. My eyebrow shape is now off but as soon as my brows grow back, I will return to my regular location. I gave two stars out of five since the owner did come by and check on me. She fixed some of the work the trainee had done and the environment was inviting. Also the price is very fair. I would suggest asking if the employee greeting you is currently training if so, I would ask if the owner is available as she had great reviews on here. read more

the staff here is very nice. i enjoyed the experience of getting the lashes put on. the girl was even complementing me and making small talk while doing my lashes. the pricing was great as well. however, i got my lashes put on august 16th and it's now august 19th and half of the lashes on my right eye have fallen out. i'm quite upset considering i did pay $100 and they fell out not even a week later. i really wanted to recommend this place but i knew it was too good to be true. read more
