Amazing experience here! I know a lot of people don't like when employees ask if they need help, but at a makeup/skincare/hair care/perfume mega-store like this, I am not safe on my own to browse around, haha. The employees are very knowledgeable and it shows w how they recommend excellent products to your specific needs. Sabrina helped me out in literally 5 minutes (this is a compliment) w finding the most perfect full coverage solution for my horrible acne. I initially asked another employee "what's the best full coverage and super easy to use bb cream or something I can just quickly put on my face?" & she suggested a product by Make Up For Ever, & then saw Sabrina & talked about it w her. Sabrina confirmed that I just wanted something super easy to put on my face quickly, so she actually introduced me to the Make Up For Ever 'HD Skin Matte Velvet' 24hr 'undetectable blurring powder foundation.' Ummmmmm, didn't know such a thing existed?! She tested a patch on me but it was too light in colour, however I could see that it covered my acne. She then colour matched me by just selecting another shade & put it on another acne-heavy spot, & I was in awe.....!!!!! I only expected to try a product & then buy it later, but I have social events starting just a day from now so I figured the purchase was an immediate-need situation. I'm SO happy with it. I also purchased the Sephora brand cream lip stain in '80- Honeymoon' bc these lip stains are sooooooo transfer-resistant. So much so that I had created swatches on my hand to see which colour I wanted to test, & I couldn't get it off w the blue liquid they have for makeup remover that usually works. Another employee I didn't get the name of found an oil-based makeup remover for me to get the swatches off my hand & they came off immediately. So if I needed makeup remover that would be the perfect product. The employees, again, are very well trained in makeup & its relatives. I also bought the Sephora brand outrageous volume plump effect in 08- 'sparkling dawn.' It looks stunning on top of the lip colour I got! I actually tried a lip colour by Dior on top of it later & it was literally an exact colour match bc no colour changed -- so Sephora's products are the much less expensive version of higher end products. & it's so so so much fun to test all the perfumes, which are categorized as u can see in my photographs by designer & then scent profile like "warm florals," "powdery florals," etc. Luv Sephora 4ever. Thank u everybody who helped me today (like 4 different people) & I'm very happy w my purchases!

Amber helped me out getting a fragrance I was looking for. Too bad this location is not as big as South Coast or the Groove. It does have a great variety if brands/products and the customer service is quite nice/knowledgeable/helpful. They no longer due fragrance samples, which for some like me used to be extremely helpful. Highly recommended

Now the only reason I'm usually in this store is to accompany my wife but I cant lie if I didn't say I do venture off to look at the colognes. Its a pretty small store and during busy hours its like walking through a crowded festival. There is no room to breathe. Now the lines, forget about it even worse. What boggles my mind is that even with long lines there is only ever 1 or 2 cashiers working so the line can take forever. One good thing is if you see a worker with the little device and are paying card they will ring you up, so be sure to ask them if you can pay with them. I have not dealt with many workers here but for the most part they all seemed nice and helpful. Just be prepared if you are coming here to wait in long lines. Just do what we do, have me wait in line while the wife gets what she needs. That's what we call teamwork.

Gotta love Sephora! They have all the best products in the beauty industry. Well maybe not all, but a good amount! They sell so many great brands that other places don't! I love going to Ulta for makeup and skincare, but Sephora sells brands that Ulta doesn't. Sephora also gives you an annual birthday gift if you are an insider member. It's usually nothing big- but still fun to get a free mini of something for your birthday! My only complaint, is the long lines. Especially during the holidays. It gets so crowded and the lines are ridiculous at Sephora! The lines yesterday were almost out the door of the store.

Stopped in to get a product from the Ordinary. It wasn't on the shelf and I asked the associate if they had any in the back, which they did. This location is ALWAYS busy regardless of the time of day. If you don't see an item check with an associate. I also went in to claim my insider birthday gift and found out that effective June 1 you have to make a purchase of $25 or more to claim your gift. It was May so that didn't apply to me. Keep that in mind if you are part of the Insider Beauty Club.

I cannot rave enough about Jayda!! She made me feel welcomed and pampered. She was very knowledgeable in skin care and prepping my skin for makeup. I asked for a smokey bronzey makeup look for my friend's wedding and she nailed it! She even helped me figure out the final touches to my updo for the wedding. She made my dream of looking like a bronzed 90s supermodel come true! Thank you!

They carry skincare items as well as makeup for both women and men. I even saw eyelash extensions! I needed a Dr. Jart+ Silver Label BB Cream, but could not find the revamped (2015) edition being sold anywhere! I knew Sephora sold Dr. Jart+, but they don't carry the Silver Label. I even looked online through Ebay and Amazon, but there were only the previous two versions of the silver label. I thought I would have to fly myself to Korea to get me a tube of this magic. BUT, lucky for me, I finally found it at BK Cosmetics. SCORE!!! The two ladies, Lisa and Wookyung, really knew their products, and, instead of walking out with just Dr. Jart+, I walked out with 2 other Clio BB Creams, 2 Vonin lotion sets for the men in our family, and a bunch of samples. If you don't see the product you want on display, simply ask the workers, and they'll magically pull it out from behind the counters! Haha. That was literally what they did with all of my products. They work on a points system, so if you're new, ask them to start one for you. They keep a record of what you've purchased, and after spending $200 (which is pretty easy when it comes to cosmetics), you get $20 credit! 10% in rewards is a REALLY good deal. This location is so convenient for me, because I don't have to drive all the way to Fullerton or Cerritos to get stuff, and because they really do carry such a wide variety of cosmetics and skincare products. Thanks Lisa and Wookyung for your friendly service, for making my day, and for saving me a trip to Korea!!!

The funniest thing about this location is that you can see all the boyfriends, husbands, and partners and their kids just waiting outside milling around on their phones while their S.O. is shopping inside. When I went on the weekend it was pretty packed. I liked that there are some brands you don't generally see at other Asian beauty shops and that there are samples you can, I guess smell or swatch. There's make up, skincare (serums, toners, sunblock, face wash, etc.), hair care, body care, and some household goods like those air freshener sticks. However, after a quick look through I was just ok with the prices and the selection that they have here for my own beauty and skincare needs. Some of the items are a couple dollars more expensive that what I could find online, but that's understandable. I think my only issue was the stock that they had of what was carried and the state of the samples. Most of what did pique my interest, the cute eye shadow palettes and make up, were all sold out but were still on display (10+ items like this not just a couple) and the samples that were out for swatching looked absolutely disgusting and dirty. Smeared lipstick and cream and blush everywhere, some had hair and dust and other things in it. I dipped real quick. I don't know, I've been spoiled with ShinuyaLa and I'm genuinely quite surprised there's no K-beauty shop equivalent that does it like them.

On the receipt it says New/Used but they don't hold up to their own policy I guess. This was my go-to place for Korean Skincare but I'm going to find another place since they were not willing to accommodate and gave me a "free" mini item which doesnt even equate to the amount of money this product costs.

She was not kind, she wasn't very helpful. I asked for a foundation and she recommended me a couple and I picked the $70 Sulhwasoo bc it felt really silky on my hand. I ended up using some on my face and liked it. I come home to find the oil on top and color clumped on the bottom. That's fine, you just shake it right? The expiration date is of Dec 2025. I have 6 months to use this whole bottle. I used my last foundation for over a year. There is no way a foundation shelf life is only 6 months, that thing has been sitting on that shelf for years. Also, I bought Anessa sunscreen for less than $20 bucks, they sell it for $39. This place can't get rid of their make up bc of their prices and customer service so if you do end up shopping here, you'll end up with overpriced, almost expired makeup. O and they make it clear there are no refunds or exchanges. I have never encountered a beauty store that doesn't do exchanges. How will you ever try new make up at this store? What if you break out or get almost expired make up? Such a waste of money.... Don't bother going here, there's other make up stores in the mall, try them out or buy online from a reputable store
