This staff at this location are all incredibly nice and helpful - it's like a little bit of Disney magic has been infused into Sephora. The store is on the smaller side, but still has a great selection and lots of employees that seem very happy to help. Everything was dusty and saw so much sand in their doorway entrance. The makeup counters weren't clean when I tried to test out the liquid foundation while I was trying to find the perfect shade-- just wanted to point that out and we came in at not a busy time so there is no excuse for dirty countertops. Abi was really great and friendly. Wanted some make up products and advice from someone who looked more natural yet you can tell had make up on. Rather than "the caked" or "drag like" some of the girls have on. I still want to look like myself. I went in specifically for new foundation and primer. Abi helped find my color IQ and assured that the foundation I got wouldn't melt away in humid weather. Since I was going on a trip and I tend to sweat through my products I've been using. I had a question for her but she said she was on her break so I didn't want to bother her; but after she was done she came to find me in the check out line to make sure I got everything I needed. The customer service from her was completely amazing. Went in for 2 things only but she was so sweet, actually helped and showed how to use & what to use I ended up walking out with: *estee lauder double wear foundation *smashbox primerizer *urban decay all nighter setting spray *nars travel velvet matte lip pencil duo *nars blush/bronzer duo So I took this foundation to Thailand and it did indeed stay on, sure I had moments of sweat because there's no way to escape Thailand's humidity but the Estée Lauder foundation was great. If you have teens just starting to wear makeup... the lovely ladies offer a class on the best methods of applying makeup! $50 and up on purchases and you have a chance to get all dolled up by a Beauty Expert! These ladies will match your face to the best shades of concealer, foundation and even lip color! There is this "wand-like" gadget that gets rubbed on the side of your face and forehead, and just like that.... all the suggestions come out on the screen in front of you! You can have them emailed to you, so you can remember the ones you liked! You can also get small samples of your choices before purchasing, to make sure you get the right shade! I ran out of moisturizer the night before we left. I'm a Rouge member, so I thought I would pop in and see if they could just give me a sample of something to use for one night. Clearly that was not going to happen when the lady kept trying to sell me $17 bottles of mini samples of moisturizer. The Sephora near me gives out samples left and right without me asking, I'm not sure why they couldn't just give me one spritz of a moisturizer for one night. When it became clear I wasn't going to spend $17 for a mini sample the person helping us wandered off, I then looked at the hundred point rewards and saw that there was a moisturizer, so I used 100 points to get one. Thank goodness there is a Sephora on Disney property! Right in Downtown Disney, this makeup & hair wonderland is a lifesaver. Sephora isn't my usual makeup spot because those prices! But when I realized I forgot to pack mascara for my Disneyland trip, a girl was in need. So happy there was this option right near the onsite Disney hotels and rolled out with my $25 mascara. No one greeted me while I was shopping around the store, but the cashier was very friendly and inviting. read more

This store is right by the Downtown Disney entrance to The Grand Californian entrance. This was somewhat odd to me, to have a sephora in this location but to be honest it has been very convenient. It's nice if you are staying at the hotel and forget some toiletry, you can most certainly find it in here. I have bought and returned at this location and the staff are nice and helpful. There are some things in this store that seem to be consistently out of stock when I have visited the last couple times but I suppose it speaks to how busy they are. read more

Had a really great experience yesterday at Sephora downtown Disney Friday, June 7. I always feel very welcome when I go to Sephora cause I love how they meet and greet you at the front door. I knew where I was going and what I needed to find. I went over to,the KOSAS brand foundation. For some reason I just haven't been able to find the right shade for me so I decided to try it one more time lol and finally I had great success. I was a little frustrated at first because they're just wasn't any samples or testers and I wanted to find the right color. And then wonderful Kristen I believe one of the managers swooped in and problem solved and solved the whole situation and then helped find the color best suited for me. I was so appreciative! She was super super nice and so helpful and so patient. Then I went to the counter to check out and met wonderful Lizzie. I believe she is also one of the managers or assistant managers and she was delightful. She was so sweet and kind and helped me check out. My experience with Sephora is usually hearing "If it's not in the shelf we don't have it" but the employees here genuinely were super sweet and did check the back and drawers for me. This particular visit, I was focused on eye makeup. I never could figure out what eyeliner brand could handle the stresses of a 12 hour shift without making the wearer look like they had a shift from hell. Enter my fairy god mother (and I call her that since this Sephora is located at Downtown Disney). This lady has tried every liner and introduced me to Urban Decay's 24/7 and Eyeko. That's it, I was sold. Proof was when my patient actually told me that I looked well rested at the end of my shift. Yeah! Look to the first couple days of May for Disney cast member discounts! This review is about the morning classes Sephora has which I never knew existed. Plus it's free signing up, just enroll day before so class doesn't get filled. I came on a Wednesday morning at around 8:45ish; about 15 minutes early before class. As soon as I walked in most of the staff was stocking merchandise and the others greeted me to the makeup station where class was being held. Luckily I was able to get my pick of where to seat since I was one of the early birds. Onto the class, the associates Cindy, Bre, and Lynn walked us through each step of applying the daytime smokey eyelook. It was super fun cause they first showed you how to do the process step by step. Also they gave suggestions and what not to do. After the process, we got to create our own smokey eyelook ourselves. I'm still new to the idea of applying makeup to my face so Bre was patient enough to guide me through each step. She was really funny and kept cheering me on haha. This is my absolute favorite Sephora, I refuse to go to the ones at the malls because this store is always clean, the associates are always nice and they actually know the products. My experience last night was just extra special but this review for this location is long overdo for me. Ashi, Sam and Jasarette were all so friendly and knowledgeable, I almost left without buying the newest product by Glow Recipe and I was already checking out and forgot so they saved me a trip back. These girls are definitely the types of employees that should be working on Disney property they are positive, happy and willing to help, everything that cast members aspire to be ando appreciate the consistent great customer service form this location. Usually don't write reviews for Sephora, but oh man I had the weirdest experience. The weekend I was down at Anaheim there was a conference geared towards high-school students around the area so I knew that a lot of people would be coming to Downtown Disney. Subsequently a lot of people came to Sephora, because makeup haha. I think there was this point where there were too many students inside the store and perhaps the employees were annoyed of us, so one of the workers pulled the fire alarm. They then signaled all of us to get out of the store. I understand if you don't want us to be here, but is pulling the fire alarm the best way to kick out everyone of the store? My girlfriend and I had walked into this store and went our separate to look for the things we wanted to buy. However a lady began to follow me as if I was trying to steal. We both came into this store wanting to purchase items but felt very uncomfortable and left immediately after noticing an employe following me. This is a great Sephora located in Downtown Disney! Some of the positives for this location are they are priced the same as all other Sephoras (they don't mark up just because they are at downtown Disney) and they validate parking! Downtown disney is also a nice shopping area so lots of fun things to do and good places to eat nearby! Some of the negatives of this location are that its located in downtown Disney which means you have the annoying Disney crowd, crazy parking lot more than half a mile from the store, and you will need to wait in long security lines. If you're not already going to downtown Disney for another reason, I would not come to this location just for sephora because of all of the hassle. Now if you happen to be at Downtown disney, this is a great makeup place to go to! They have lots of brands, the store is always tidy and clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I've gone here several times for color matches and the girls are always very attentive. Dont be afraid to ask for help with picking out makeup! I've also gone a few times for makeovers when I have events to go to! They do them for free with $50 purchase. You just need to book online ahead of time. I have been to quite a bit of Sephoras by now and I just had to leave a review for this location! Their COVID precautions are perfect and their customer service was AMAZING! This is my first Sephora visit in the city and since the reopening this year. I was NOT disappointed by any means. You are not able to test or touch any products at the moment which is completely understandable but the staff definitely went above and beyond to help me decide on different shades. I love to browse and the staff was super attentive and helpful throughout my browsing without being too pushy. I left getting the exact "self care" session I needed and with a ton of products I am excited to play with! PS Due to the closure, I was even offered my birthday gift which was from February! This is a genius hack to getting your parking validated in Downtown Disney, because it's humanly impossible to go to Sephora and spend less than $20. I wasn't sure how big the selection would be since this is a somewhat atypical location, but they actually had everything I was looking for and were less crowded than most Sephora stores. There was a somewhat lengthy line to check out but they were well-staffed and got through the line pretty quickly. Maybe this is because it's a Disney location, but the people working here were all super friendly, too. It's not exactly a convenient location to get to and I opt towards online shopping in general, but this is a nice Sephora location and I'll likely be back next time I'm in Downtown- even if it's just to validate parking. read more

This review is well deserved thanks to the excellent customer service I received at this particular Sephora. Dare I say, that the experience was "...magical?" Too much? Ok. Well to start, I was asked by more than one employee whether or not I had any questions, and when questions did arise, I was directed to the appropriate employee who explained the products thoroughly but not overly pushy or trying to upsell anything. When I did have a 15 percent off coupon and I had already used it on a purchase, the employees definitely tried their hardest to allow me to take advantage of the same discount when I was attempting to make an online order. The store itself is very small compared to some of the other Sephora stores I've been to, so make sure to check/call to make sure they have a particular product in stock before making the trip here. It can get crowded and crazy depending on the time you decide to go, particularly on the weekends, but I assure you the customer service at this place was worth the hassle. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite Sephora's! It's in the heart of Downtown Disney and I come here when I'm on my breaks from volunteering. The store associates here are super friendly and always ask if I need any help finding a product without being pushy. The last time I came here, I wanted to restock my Estée Lauder Doublewear concealer. But since it's the summertime, I needed a new color match. So one of the associates matched me with a new shade and recommended that took a sample to try at home before I buy it, and I thought that was so thoughtful! The sample lasted me 5 uses and I'll be going back to pick a bottle up. To me, that's a sign of a good associate: helpful, sincere, and honest! Came here tonight to buy foundation and had the absolute worst and rudest customer service. The sales person was not allowing me to color match the foundation. I was in front of the mirror applying the foundation to see if it works and she runs over yelling at me that I am not allowed to do so. I was so confused. Honestly, I am truly disgusted and disappointed. Sephora has always been on of my go to makeup's suppliers, but this experience has truly spun me the wrong way. I was shopping with my friends recently and we took a couple trips to and from sephora because there were not many stores of our interest in Downtown Disney. Every time we were in the store the employees followed us around like puppy dogs. They were exchanging whispers and "precautionary" glances at each other. During our final trip to Sephora, it was hinted that we were being accused of stealing. One of the employees Emily (tall, black and white hair), made us feel uncomfortable during the rest of our shopping experience. Just because we are teenage girls DOES NOT mean we are stealing from this corporation. This stereotype was very hurtful to us and we are saddened that the employees are endorsing this behavior. I went to the Sephora at the Downtown Disney location yesterday for an Disneyland Annual Passholders event where you were able to get a special "Lipstories" Haunted Mansion lipstick. This was such a complete mess of an event. Not one employee knew what was going on and I had to ask three different people where to go and what to do. The employees were all very nice but had no clue what was going on.I was then able to get the product but was told the main thing I wanted had sold out- I get it I went in the afternoon and the die hard Disney fans arrived in the morning. I was then told to go pay at the register and wow the poor girl at the front desk must have been new or not spoken to a co- worker about what was going on in the store ever. She didn't know about the event and the proceeded to ask me to join the beauty club 5 times! To make matters worse as I was about to design my lipstorie lipstick the machine broke and I walked out with nothing that I even had came to orginally get. I understand things happen but if you are going to organize an event make sure your employees are in the loop about what is going on. So sad after my visit yesterday. read more

This location is close to my heart because it's the first Sephora I ever went to. It's been here since day 1 of Downtown Disney's inception. OK, I'm done reminiscing. Sephora D.T.D is fully stocked with most products, fully staffed with M.U.A's in every aisle ready to help you find whatever you need and offers a playground full of make-up sample stations to beat your face with. The minor drawback is it gets crowded during certain times but it's still fun none-the-less. Some days it can be crowded with a million cheerleaders between the ages of 5 - 18 or if it's Christmas time, the line snakes through the aisles of the actual store making it difficult to shop. Why? Disney employees get a ridiculous discount one week out of the month of December. You think they could ask one of those Disney employees to get a proper queue going and provide crowd control tips. It's a mess, but I can say the line moves quickly as they have extra staff to help move things along. Some of my favorite products I'll vouch for from Sephora are: Urban Decay eye shadow, all the perfume, Living Proof hair care products (restore conditioner, full thickening cream, prime style extender cream), Korres wild rose moisturizer . So, if you came to the resort and forgot your makeup bag at home or need a quick spritz of perfume to enhance your natural aroma, make sure you stop in Sephora to get it covered. read more

I made a trip to Downtown Disney with a colleague. When we saw that Sephora had a shop there, we knew we had to stop by. We were happy to find out that they validated parking, if you purchased a minimum of $20 in product. I was a little disappointed that the store wasn't Disneyfied. I was expecting that there would be a more extensive Disney themed makeup collection. In addition, the store decor was pretty typical of what you would expect of a normal Sephora. The in-store service was great. I asked for a perfume sample and one of the employees made it for me right away. I also tried to buy a concealer. I couldn't remember the color, so the employee tried to look it up for me. When we couldn't find it in my purchase history, she offered to color match, so we could find a new one.
