The prices of some of their nail polish has gone up (understandable with inflation), but the rates are still competitive when compared to the big box stores (sometimes half the price!). They still have a good assortment of gel, dip powders, and lacquer. I change my nail polish pretty regularly so I go with lacquer for flexibility. Orly Bonder $6.25 Seche Vive Gel Effect Top Coat $4.50 OPI Lacquer $4.50 (I don't think this brand has a bulk discount) Orly Lacquer $4.50 Essie Lacquer $4.25 (B5G1 Free Promo!) They accept credit card with a $5 minimum if you provide your phone number there's a small discount for the OPI nail polish which otherwise doesn't' qualify for any discounts. When I went home I tired the bonder, Orly. and Top Coat and they all worked great. Beauty Zone still is a great spot to score great deals for a mini indulgence :) read more

I have been a customer here for five years, but I will not be returning. In the past--precisely because of their excellent product quality--I would drive two hours all the way from San Diego just to purchase their oils. However, a repeated pattern of highly unprofessional behavior has forced me to give up on this establishment. On three consecutive occasions, they provided me with the wrong oil and refused to offer any form of compensation, leaving me with no choice but to make a four-hour round trip just to exchange the items. When I made a reasonable request for free home delivery as compensation, their excuse was that my location was too far away, stating that they only offer free delivery to nearby areas. then I provided an another address in a nearby neighborhood, yet they still insisted that I pay for the delivery fees. They are unreasonable and highly unprofessional. read more

They said it's because I bought hand lotion along with my gel polish so they had to charge me shipping for that even though it's all coming together, this is fraud and I would never buy from this company again. read more

Five stars for Beauty Zone. This shop is located in a strip mall next to the $0.99 store. There is a sign that says only vendors and professionals. Everyone is welcomed to shop there! Very disappointed with my experience here. We were incorrectly charged for the items we bought, and when we pointed it out, the staff barely acknowledged the mistake. On top of that, we were warned that we could only return items this one time, as if we were the ones causing issues. Not only was the customer service dismissive and gave us attitude, the way they handled the situation made it feel like our business wasn't valued at all. Won't be returning. read more

Been going here for years. The last two times I purchased a 10 pack of nail glue the glue has dried up before I could use. I purchased 10 glue a few days ago and all 10 are hard and dried! Very hard to do my job without having products that are useable!! I called and let them know and asked for them to ship to me and they said they wouldn't do that. The place is nice and they have a lot of supplies but the only problem is security. There's a female security guard by the door and she stares at you and follows you around the aisles. I felt uncomfortable and I had a list of things that I needed to buy but I ended up leaving with couple of things. I hope they educate their security guard to not racially profile their customers. It's such a shame that a business with so much potential will lose customers with that type of behavior from security. Wow I have had the same made in USA nail clipper for 25 years unfortunately I recently misplaced it and I have been going crazy finding a functional one. I went to specialty stores n bought an expensive one, $12 n all the discount stores yOu name it, all from $3 to $8 each, they were all useless, all made in China, they cut w edges n splintered the nails. I thought i might have to buy in ITaly when I go there in April, today by chance I ran into this store n was shocked they had made in Korea nail clippers n they were only $1 each, omg I was so thrilled, I bought 3, I think I'll go back to buy 5 more for all my relatives. They also had such Amazing fragrant body lotion, scissors nail polishes. The only reason it's not 5 stars was they didn't have DNP brand I was looking for but they have OPI N all famous brands. This place is a wonder land for all beauty supplies! Love their selection and neat aisles!

Unpleasant experience: I walked into the store with 2 employees making jokes while helping a customer, with no eye contact or break-off between them trying to help an entering customer. Another employee came from behind to ask what I needed, and that startled me, then the other 2 started laughing at the situation thinking that it was funny for them. I got help buying a box of what I needed, and it took them a long while to get it despite having the employee who helped me contact their loading to bring me one box. I later overheard her talking to the loading person and he didn't hear her request through their walkie nor did he have it with him. Lastly, I got my product and left, I dropped it off at my store and learned that I was not given a factory-sealed one (or a reseal box) with 1/4 items in the box not at the full amount (one of the bottles was halved down). The cashier named Thy was very helpful to accommodate my special request. A worker helped us load two cases of massage oil, then the security guard Ivan showed me where to find the restroom, everyone working there was very nice, they play good music, not too loud, nice air conditioning, pleasant overall atmosphere and good prices. read more

Okay... I just got to start this review by saying THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I was going crazy. I didn't even know where to start or where to look or where to go. There's just so many things. I went straight to the nail polish since that what I went for. I received a GEL UV LIGHT FOR Xmas on Dec 2019 and I had been doing my own nails saving money. Then COVID HIT and I got bored of the colors I had and found this gem on TIK TOK. I haven't been able to make it out here because they're only open Mon-Friday from 9-4 pm and I work during that time but I had it off today and made my way down here. It's next to a big 99 cents store so parking is fairly easy to find. They have a huge selection of nail polishes! DND, GELIXR, OPI. There's about 4-5 rows of just nail polishes! They have makeup, hair and all your MANI/PEDI needs! Also has stickers and jewels for nail art. They selL UV LIGHTS ... also fairly cheap! Take cash! I came here today for the first time and had a good experience - they have a huge, well organized selection. I was a little wary of all the reviews complaining about the security guard but she was courteous to me. Just something to keep in mind -- yes, people absolutely steal nail polishes, especially with how the economy was hammered the past few years, and being a female security guard in a shopping plaza with all kinds of characters has to be a tough job. I am sad, the mgr told me that they are not going to carry my favorite hair color brand from Spain. Erayba / GAMMA COLOR. I use versions of red, and red hair color is the hardest to stay, this brand is the best for red hair coloring. I hope they change their mind and keep this brand around. Today 11/1/2021 at 12:00 PM. I went here to ask for a return ($5) I bought a few days earlier. The reason for that is me and all the people in my salon tried many times to take it out and put it in, but it was really hard and difficult. The things I bought can't be used, unfortunately I left the trash, of course I must to come here to ask for a return. Then one of my salesgirls came to find out about the situation, and I told her all about its difficulty. She didn't want to help me solve it, but also uncomfortable attiude with me a lot, she tried to attach the paper end and pull out, I'm telling the truth, she tried to forcefully pull it, I saw Her nails gonna broken, but still tried and need more energy , and she said "oh easy" . She also said: "If I let you return it, i will be fired". I really angry with this attitude of sales. OK, if not let me return it's ok, I'm fine, but I can't believe with this Customer service . Only $5. This is a clean Shop, and have everything good, I have to here buy must on 10 times, always buy a lot. I was a regular here but have since moved on because they have made the shopping experience increasingly uncomfortable. They have security guards at the front door but when you enter they constantly follow you as you go through each aisle looking for colors and nail tools. I'm a regular and don't go to steal and I understand other people do so they need security but the guards they have are so obvious and in your face. Practice some subtlety and make the experience comfortable again where customers can take their time to view the mass selection without having constant accusing eyes on you. read more

I finally come to the infamous Beauty Zone in Garden Grove last week with my sister and wow, nail polish heaven! :) I really like OPI nail polishes but from the price my sister used to buy them ($4.00 each but if you buy more, it becomes $3.75 each), it has gone up to $5.50 each unless you buy more which lowers it to $5.25 each. Still pretty pricey for nail polish :((( and they explain that all of OC had to raise their prices. Instead of OPI (because I'm on a budget like everyone else in the post college life in this recession), I check out China Glaze nail polishes priced at $2.50 each but discounted at $2.25 when you buy 6 or more :) Customer service was friendly and helpful here and they sell hair supplies, make-up, and fake (and real) eyelashes for reasonable prices. Also, pay in cash so you don't get charged tax on your total purchase. read more

I tend to find myself here about 2-3 times a month to pick up supplies for the wifes side business. Its quite a drive for us, but the prices make it all worth it for the wife. Located in Westminster, in the same shopping center as Brodards and Low Key Poke you will find this gem of a beauty supply store. Inside it is muggy, there is a security guard at the door and the parking situation blows, but the deals are excellent (according to the wife) and you will find a billion different things inside. I do not know much about make up and nail polish, but the bottles my wife buys here for $8 are usually closer to $20 at places like Sallys, Target and Walmart. The supplies are cheap as well, and the same ones you find at the nail salon (again according the expert, my wife). So my tips: - Bring cash. I loved this place! I went in looking for Gel polish and was not dissappointed. Great selection, prices and brands. I bought Gelixir and bottles were $5 each OR buy 5 get 1 free. The Top Coat and Base Coat set was $9, excluded from the promo. I ended up getting other supplies and only spent $50 for a bunch of stuff!! I used to come here all the time but just today I went with my mom and only after we got home my mom said that the owner asked the security guard where we were as if we were stealing things. I wish she would have told me right then and there instead of allowing me to buy from this business. I won't be coming back here again since the owner seems to think every POC is stealing. The other reviews are true, a 5 pack of ardell wispies are $10 here and $9.50 at target. I am a nail polish fiend. I normally go to a spot in DTLA but decided to stop by and check this place out since it was closer and my seche vite could no longer be revived with thinner. There's no Color Club or Morgan Taylor here, but if you're looking for OPI and Essie, this is your spot. It's stocked in spades but it seems its bread and butter are gel polishes. I almost gave up on finding my Seche top coat, but turns out it's stocked behind the counter. The prices for OPI are $6, it's half the price of going to Ulta, which is cool. I bought a giant refillable bottle of Seche, which I was told was $10 and had two bottles and a giant refill, and it turned out to be $12 and had a giant refill and one bottle. So while it's cheaper than retail, it's only slightly annoying they didn't know the actual price or what's actually in the box. I'm not sure I'd come back unless there was a limited edition OPI polish I was looking for on the cheap, but if that's what you're into, come here. read more

The prices here are sketchy. They don't label everything or display a lot of the prices on the shelf. Which makes it easier for them to charge you whatever they like and it's extremely frustrating to figure out the prices. You have to ask the associates for the prices and the pricing is not consistent at all. I came to this location at first because it seem like some the nail polishes were a good deal. However, the more I went the more I find their pricing is not clear or consistent at all. I came in today because I went to buy another dip powder. Last week I bought the same brand, same size, just different color and the price came out to be $10. But today I went in and it was $20??? When I was ready to check out I even ask the young lady how much the product was for EVERY item to make sure I wasn't paying anything I didn't want. She said out of her own mouth the dip powder that it was $10. So I agreed and payed. But after I walked out the store I checked the receipt and I was charged $20 for the dip powder. I went back in and told the lady and the guy next her said that it was because I bought a larger size and the small was $10. But I checked the shelf there wasn't any information stating the bigger one was $20. It just says all dip powder is $10 and last time I came here I bought the same product same size just different color. I checked online to find out I could of bought the same thing online for cheaper! They overcharged! So pissed! If you are a foreigner or don't speak Vietnamese be very careful . Make sure you ask for the prices on EVERYTHING before you pay because they have a stupid policy where there are no returns no exceptions. This is the last time I am shopping here after that experience. There are plenty of other nail supply store that have good deals with better service. I just went in here today with my girlfriend and everything was going well, the service was great and everything was as usual until the SECURITY GUARD ruined it for us. She made one initial pass and i didn't think much of it as it's typical and normal to do so but after the third or fourth time we began to feel a bit uncomfortable. at this point she had been standing next to us a couple feet away speaking in spanish and eyeing the workers. but on the fifth time, she actually came up to us and handed us a basket as if we were stealing. i totally understand the role of security and protecting merchandise, but also note that customer service is crucial. we genuinely really enjoy coming here for products and everything was great, but the hispanic security lady was absolutely over the top and wasn't subtle at all. i was just extremely mad at this type of service and i understand their job roles but there must be a better way to go about it. very uncomfortable experience and will not be coming back read more
