I went here for the first time a few days ago and WOW ! The stock is just insane, so many products available from high ends to lower prices! The polish selection is insane including PLA, Chaun Legend, Apres, D&d, and so many more brands I love that they cover all price points in one place ! The nail tip selection is also very large and the staff is very nice. read more

The store recently relocated to a larger storefront it took over an old beauty supply store that was there. I originally like the C8 store because how organized and easy to find things but the new store seems to be very unorganized very messy hard to find things there's no swatches for some polishes so you have to open a lot of the nail polish one by one to see what color it is. It looks like some of their products from their old store, and some of the parts of the new stores are intermingled and outdated. I don't like how they do handwritten receipts now where before when I went to C8, they used to barcode everything it was in the computer. I got a printed paper receipt as well as an email and I also have C8 points. They don't do that anymore. The handwritten receipts are hard to read, depending on who writes them. They don't even look up price to make sure the price is right. They just write the item and the pricing that they believe the item is which, for the most part, they probably know, but as a customer you want transparency, you want to know that it's the same price every time by scanning a barcode or entering into a computer. I know the store is new and they're trying to organize it, but it seems like an old chop beauty supply versus what they were before when they were at a small location. I originally really like the old location because of how modernize and well organized they were. The new Location to me just feels like every other nail supply shop that you could get in Westminster Garden grove. C8 used to stand out. And on top of that, they get a lot of foreigners that come into the shop, which is great for the business but a lot of the workers there do not speak enough English to communicate whereas the old store had someone at the front that was able to communicate in English as well as Vietnamese. It just felt cozier more comfortable. Hopefully, they're able to get the store running the way they want to eventually, the vibe feels off. read more

They went out of their way to ensure that my order was correct and were so friendly and courteous. Great experience!

I have been coming here for quite some time because they're heavily stocked and priced competitively. However, upon check out, I feel like they overcharge on the carbide nail drill bits. My total was supposed to be around $25 but somehow when I added one medium ceramic nail bit, my total went up to $40. The prices on their nail bits are obsecure and because of that I never truly know what to expect. Everything else has a price tag or listed price but not the nail bits. I'm considering forgoing purchasing nail bits from this location. Otherwise, it's a decent experience every time but the ambiguity at the end of check out can be off putting at times. read more

I originally planned to order my supplies through their website, but decided to shop in-store because I heard the staff would be helpful and that there might be a discount for paying cash. I purchased an LED lamp and asked about the price since it wasn't displayed. Two employees discussed it amongst themselves in Vietnamese before quoting me $85 plus tax. I trusted that was the price and proceeded with my purchase. However, when I paid for all of my supplies, I noticed that the total seemed significantly higher than what I had seen online. After checking the website, I found that the same LED lamp is listed at $78.50 at full price, with a current 20% discount bringing it down to $62.80. This experience left me feeling like I would have been better off ordering online, where the pricing is clearly displayed and any discounts are transparent. My advice to other customers would be to check the website prices before purchasing in-store so you know exactly what you should be paying read more

This is heaven for all nail designers, both novice and professional! I didn't know places like this existed they do primarily specialize in nail polishes, however, they also have some specialized tools. They didn't have a lot of variety in nail polish removers or brushes for nail art but that's okay. They also carry tons of items for facials, pedicures and items for your salon. Overall, i'm going to purchase from here moving forward rather than online. read more

I am using Princess Rule powder from Opi for years. Never ordered from this store before but the ones that I got here is not real Opi or Princess Rule color! I ordered 2 jars and they are very very pink instead of a milky white fine sparkling color! Very disappointed that I don't like using them and I missed the 14 days returning window because I didn't open the package before ! Do not order PRINCESS RULE color, is not the same! read more

sometimes its hard to understand the workers. i tried asking where something was and i couldnt understand. just as a warning, the gloves here are not too great, very thin and flimsy! and omg... i used to pay cash for no tax but now they charge tax for both cash and card... so disappointing to see that change... read more

What a great little gem! I definitely recommend checking out C8 for any of your professional beauty supply needs ! It's tucked away below a business type building. Nice and clean, neat and cool inside. Helpful employees that don't make you uncomfortable or feel unwelcomed, a feeling you might be familiar with if you've gone to other beauty supplies and aren't or don't look very Vietnamese or whatever ethnicity otherwise. They had it easy for me to be able inspect each product individually in my own hands before making my final selections. Great extensive selection of products, even found a particular brand I've been having so much difficulty finding for the longest time! So glad I took a chance and stopped by here. Will definitely be my go to spot from here on out. read more

I used to go to skylark for my mail supply needs. After reading the most recent reviews, it sounded like a sketch place. It was time to find a new place to go. After much debate, I decided on c8. Good reviews on yelp. I came here on a Friday around 230p. When I was turning into the lot, I thought I went to the wrong place. Huge warehouse plus store. Lots of inventory. It was overwhelming to say the least. Cr8tions brand owner owned and other OPI, lechat, CND, Kiara sky and other brands available. Lots and lots of dip powders. If I only had luck with dip, I would have been soooo excited. But since I am not good with dip, I will stick with gel extensions and polish. They had the gelish spot light lamp here which I have been eyeing. Asked about the warranty. Owner said 14 days with receipt for exchange if broken. After that, manufactures warranty for one year. Jordan (female) was the only caucasian in there and the Vietnamese lady went to get her to help me when I had questions. Jordan was very nice, helpful and honest of her knowledge related to the items that were for sale. We both figured it out together. She was candid in letting me know she is usually in charge of inventory. Nonetheless, she provided me with great service and a friendly face during my $185 haul. This will be my new nail supply place. One star docked for no weekend hours. Boo! Other than that, fun place for mail supply seekers. Kid in a candy shop! read more

pretty convenient store to get all my nail necessities and they're opened pretty good hours. i get anxious parking in cramped parking lots so i appreciate a nail supply store in a spot with a huge lot even tho there's a lot of shipping supplies everywhere. they have a lot of brands and colors to choose from and lots of workers to help you. i think the prices are pretty average with other competitors in the area. i wish there were more price labels everywhere and if you buy the brand DND i believe, the gel colors might look a shade or two off if you're in there for nail colors. i haven't bought many other brands though a good experience. my go-to since it's a few blocks away from everything read more

Just visited for the first time with my two year old and we both enjoyed the friendly welcome and assistance, the neat set up, and plethora of options. She had a good time looking at the nail colors and I found some good additions to my collection. I prefer DND gel and polish and it's nice to find a location that has them in stock. I was also gently encouraged to try gel x again after many years and I'm really excited! I was intimidated the first time I tried gel x but I'm so excited to try it again this weekend after the employee answered my questions and gave me time to consider before purchasing. We will definitely be back! Thank you! read more

Well first of all I went to the building right behind it and they have a warehouse that is massive with everything you can think of. There I was told that the store was the building right up front so I went there and I was in awe I've never seen a nail place as big as this place so I went inside and they had everything you could imagine this is the nail place to go to I loved it and the personnel salespeople were fantastic. Anything you could ever dream of about nails is found here at c8. Go with plenty of time because there is so much to look at it'll take you a whole day. I bought $150 worth to send to my sister in Madrid Spain and she absolutely went crazy over all the wonderful stuff I sent her. read more

August 2022, Location: first-floor entrance on warehouse building. If I can give this place 10 stars for both their service and their products. the staff here is awesome. the front room has walls of both Gel and Dip Products. Next to it has a nail color chart with a nail color numbers. The shelf near the registers is for prepping the nails (oil remover, base coat, top coat, shine coat, etc). The next room offers a selection of materials ( acrylic nails, brush, nail trimming tools, etc). All items are well organized with prices. This place is perfect for both nail artist and new nail artist. read more

This store was so big and had so many supplies! I noticed that they had the Apres x Sanrio collab items too, which is really nice because you can see the polish swatches. Very unprofessional people. No etiquette at all. Was approached more than once and I thought it was kind service but little did I know it was them hovering over me. Very rudely the lady told me to make sure everything was in the basket so that " no one assumes we're stealing " but clearly it seemed they already were. I was browsing the isles and none of their products were in my hand as she told me that. They continue to talk about drinking and taking shots, which shows how poor management is and low expectations are from their employees. Low standards show why they treat guest like that. Very crowded and like I said they'll eye you down and make you feel uncomfortable and have a terrible experience there. Not even worth going. read more
