Booked an appointment for the Essential Scalp Treatment and mini facial directly on their website and was not disappointed. I came with friends and one of my friends was able to do a walk-in for a specific facial. Tracy was AMAZING, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The place itself was really clean, offered so many other services and all the staff were super nice! The prices are very reasonable as well. I've been having trouble with my hair/scalp and didn't realize how much I need this hair treatment. My scalp has never felt so clean and my hair hasn't felt this soft in forever. Even 4 days later, my hair still maintains that softness. If I was local, I would come here every month just to treat myself. Her nails turned out beautifully and the seasonal blossom pedicure was a lovely touch. I went in for a collagen facial ($119) and lash lift ($65) with Bella and had a great experience! The facial itself was so relaxing and multi-step. My skin was glowing post facial. Bella gave a lot of helpful tips post facial for continuous care as well. The lash lift turned out great, but my eyes were burning a bit. I'm not sure if it was just a reaction to the product, but I do like the result. I plan to come back for the facial in the future. read more

very affordable, everyone is super nice here, but i will not be coming back. i usually get pedicures here but yesterday the girl cut up my toes so bad my boyfriend asked me why i was actively bleeding when i left. this is unacceptable to me and also very dangerous to customers. they upgraded the massage chairs, started offering complimentary drinks and cream puffs, renovated like twice and changed the name (used to be Hava Nails) but i wish they would just train their techs on proper technique. i think they might have been understaffed that day and just gave me someone less trained on cuticle work, but it was such a painful experience and i can't tell how sanitary they are with tools so i won't be risking it again. i would have rather waited up to an hour for someone who knows what they're doing than be cut up like this. they just started offering facials too - i haven't tried it but please be careful if it's anything invasive! read more

Bella's beauty studio has one of the best facials for skincare! The esthetician is very educated on all the new skin care routines, techniques, and products. I've loved every visit so far. I've tried the anti aging + smooth eyes and hydra collagen facials and have felt as if my skin significantly improved the days following. During the treatment I am so relaxed and feel pampered. The studio is inside Royal Nails, there is often street parking in front. Booking is super easy to do online and communication is easy via text or online booking. Highly recommend! read more

A hidden gem in the Ballard area that I am so glad that I was able to find! Nestle behind royal nails you'll find yourself very beautiful facial area. Everything in the room is so adorable down to the towels, and the Q-tips and applicators. I went to Bella specifically for a Korean style collagen facial treatment that would hydrate my skin. She provided a really great discount coupon rate for the first time that I came to the shop. Honestly, I was completely blown away by the spatial and honestly felt like this should be a $400 facial The attention to detail was incredible with so many different hydration steps that I felt my skin desperately needed. Bella also went above and beyond with taking care of not just my face because it was a facial but also my arms which she massage and moisturized as well as my neck area and upper back and head! I also even had a little bit of residual hair around my upper lip and chin which she helped me trim. It was super nice! Bella was very kind the entire time, and since it was my first time, explain every step of what she was doing! She was honest and fair, and when she recommended skincare products, she didn't recommend something super expensive - she recommend products from drugstore that are easily accessible and affordable for everyone. Also, the biggest pro of all is that Bella does not put any pressure on you to tip. I did provide a tip for her since she did a great job, but I really appreciated this as tip culture in America can often be filled with a bunch of pressure from the business to tip a certain amount! I normally do not go regularly to a certain person for facials, but I think after this experience, I definitely am going to book again with Bella in a month! read more

FYI this place is inside Royal Nails, I walked in and asked for Bella and her room is located in the back. I've been to a few other studios for lash extensions and this was one of my better experiences! Bella is very friendly and accommodating which is very appreciated. I got a volume full set from her and she was quite gentle while still working very quickly. Her bed was comfortable (some places make my neck/back hurt) and I experienced no stinging or pain while receiving the extensions. I will say that I did have some discomfort in the following few days as the base of the lashes would irritate my eyes if I squeezed them shut. The complimentary eyebrow waxing was also a nice plus! read more

Note: it's hidden inside the nail studio, so when you walk in, just ask for Bella. First off, her room is small, but SO cute and cozy. She puts on a spa headband to keep your hair back and drapes the softest blanket over your legs to keep them warm. AND she plays soft music! Honestly, I fell asleep most of the appointment because I was so cozy. Bella can do anything from a classic, hybrid, or volume set. If you're not familiar, I definitely suggest showing reference pictures for her to go off of! I went with a hybrid (yet natural) set and, I mean, LOOK at them! So fluffy and gorgeous, just in time for my trip! Bella was so kind and accommodating, made sure I was comfortable (especially since I don't get lashes done often), and made sure at the end that she had done them to my liking.
