A facial, plus head, foot, shoulder hand massage. Heaven. Include explainations for choices of products, enjoyable conversation (if you want services in silence, also available). Business appears to be very clean & hygenic. Lip, brow, peels, & Brazilian wax maintenance available. There may be other services as well read more

Hell's bells that was fun! Hadn't laughed so hard in a while and it was while getting my hair ripped out. So that says a lot. Anna is real, funny, and gets the job done well. I appreciate her meticulousness and innate curiosity in her craft. Would highly recommend her to anyone! Oh, and the service came with warm dog kisses. Hehe. read more

To be honest, I came with high expectations as I had the same waxer for the last 6 years before moving to Seattle. I wasn't hopeful that I would find someone who made me feel as comfortable, but came in with an optimistic point of view. I'm so glad I did, because Anna was fantastic and highly personable! This was my first sugaring experience, and I was thankful that Anna was so knowledgeable about the process and appreciated how detailed she was when explaining everything, as well as how comfortable she made me feel during my appointment. She's hilarious, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I will definitely be back and I'm glad I've found my new waxer! read more

Anna at The Beauty Lab did a great job sprucing me up! She was kind, gentle (well... as gentle as you can be when ripping hair off of a body haha!), and funny - highly recommended! read more

I had been waxed before but never sugared. A gf recommended that I try sugaring and after crazy debating and Groupon searching I came across one for Rochelle. Let me tell you, I'm of average "hairiness" and medium coarseness. I took 800mg of ibuprofen and went in nervous. Having not been sugared before and being well over 8weeks "natural" , it took longer than usual. 30 mins. Total. It was a bit more painful than I anticipated, BUT!!!!!! When all was said and done. My skin looked photoshopped, none of the redness that usually accompanied my waxing experiences. I was shocked, and sold. After 4 weeks I have about 1/16 yes. 1/16! Of my typical regrowth! I'm sold. Can't wait to see what happens at my appointment in 2 weeks! Rochelle chats enough to keep your mind busy without over talking! She's funny, fast, and she gave me time to breathe as I was sweating through the table! It's so worth it! Bonus points they use eminence products! My favorite! read more

Anna is fantastic! I came the first time a few months ago, and can't recommend her enough. She is efficient and talks while she's working (and for me, that takes my mind off the whole "hair being ripped from the skin" thing). The online scheduling platform is simple, even if you're using a groupon. My only complaint is the small window of open hours. I wish there were more Saturday appointments or one week night with late appointment times. read more

Kim is by far the sweetest and superbly skilled. She does excellent facials and sugar waxes. I love coming here, Anna the owner is so sweet and knowledgeable. They're both so kind and welcoming and the spa is always super clean and fresh. I love love love coming here and the value of services are amazing. read more

You know how sometimes you like a person and they're providing a very intimate service, but the whole time in your head you're writing your bad Yelp review? Strap in. I got a Groupon for two waxes or sugars and booked my first wax online (first of the two, not first wax ever). A wax. Specifically, I selected wax. I have heard everyone rave about sugaring and tried it a few times, but don't like it because it is more uncomfortable than a wax and I had more negative skin reactions to it than waxing, which works perfectly fine for my hair. However, I got two sugars! (I know, I know...fool me twice, shame on me!) The provider does both, but just went in on autopilot each time and I didn't think to confirm what I had booked. At the first one, I let her know that wasn't what I booked or wanted, but I guess since she already started with that, she had to keep going. She said next time we would do the wax, I assumed that meant some kind of note would be on the appointment when she made it or on her mind because she did seem genuinely sorry. Then, the timing at my second appointment just sucked - I waited 10 minutes to even be let in and she was running behind, so my 15 minute treatment took 35 minutes. I didn't even bring up the sugar/wax issue once I realized she again started in with the wrong treatment (yes, I absolutely should have confirmed and checked what she was prepping) since she was already apologizing so much about the timing and based on my first experience, we couldn't change it at that point anyway. Like I said, I liked her, but I don't really want a wax provider who constantly needs to apologize for multiple issues. So yeah, they're okay for sugaring if that's what you're into and that's what you want. Or I guess even if that's not want you want. read more

Tried this place from a Groupon deal...which usually is a a hit or miss. Located in Phinney off the main street, a small salon. Friendly service. Street parking. The staff was nice and knowledgeable, and made sure you're comfortable. read more

I've come here for sugaring services from both Dominique and Sadie and a custom 60-minute facial. I can't recommend the sugaring service here enough - I swear, my last sugaring from Sadie was one of the least awkward and least painful sessions I've ever had. If you've never done sugaring, I highly recommend it. It's much less painful than waxing and lasts just as long. My 60-minute facial with Sadie was superb. She quickly assessed my skin, gave me a custom masque to address my personal skin issues, and did a thorough and impressive job. The staff are all very friendly and sweet. They often have Groupon deals (which is how I heard about this spot in the first place) and offer specials every now and then. The Beauty Lab is worth every penny! read more

Sarah is really great. I've been to her a couple times now for facial hair removal and both times she has been attentive and very thorough. These are two qualities that make her a really great esthetician. Fair prices and easy to book. read more

Love this place! I got the groupon back in November and have been seeing Sadie for Brazilian sugarings ever since. The space is modest but clean. Sadie is super personable, and makes what should be an awkward and painful experience pleasant (or at least, as pleasant as getting a Brazilian can be). She does a great job, and is very knowledable. I'm also just really amazed at how this place treats their clients. Their services are already competitively priced, but they also offer punch cards where the 10th service is free, and packages that make each Brazilian $10 less. PLUS they had a promo in January for a $39 Brazilian, which I missed out on because I had a package. Sadie offered to honor that price once I use up my package which is awesome! An awesome gem, so glad to have found Sadie & The Beauty Lab. read more

Just saw Tina for the second time for Brazilian sugaring. I absolutely love her. She's the sweetest human and is great at what she does! Found my go to gal! read more

I just moved into the neighborhood from out of state and had been looking for a new place to get my facials and brows done and I have definitely found it! Dominque was absolutely amazing! My skin felt so smooth, hydrated and tight after my facial and I loved that she walked me through everything she did and was using! Her ability to look at my skin for the first time and provide a spot on customized facial was amazing. I'm super picky about my brows and was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone that could get them the way I like them but she definitely nailed it and she used the sugaring technique (which I hadn't had in the past) and now there is no way I can go back to regular waxing!! Thank you so much Dominque for getting my skin and brows ready for Seattle :) read more

I have always had my sugaring or waxing done at the Beauty Lab but I finally ventured out and had a massage there. WOW! I have to say it was the best massage I have ever had! Kim was amazing mixing all types of Hawaiian, deep tissue, Thai with Swedish thrown in. It was the best deep work but still being relaxing. I highly recommend it! read more

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. I came in to have my lashes dyed and curled. What I didn't know was that the curl is all the way around so they poked my eye lids and drove me crazy for the next three weeks. The person I saw was pretty surly as well. So, I found a new place that does a lash lift with a smile. read more

Wish I could give more stars!! Rochelle is so quick and thorough, best sugaring experience I've ever had. She makes you feel like you've known her for years after just one visit, and the salon is clean and comfortable. Would recommend 10/10 times!!! read more

I have been going to the Beauty Lab for years now. I've seen all the technicians and they have all been great. Never had a problem. Well, I guess the only problem is that ever since I started getting lash extensions, I haven't been able to stop! I've gotten a ton of compliments on my lash extensions because they're very natural looking. read more

Beauty Lab is a woman owned and operated business. Anna, the owner and an esthetician, is a sweet person who is incredibly knowledgeable about skincare. I've done waxing, sugaring and facials with Anna and she's amazing. The clients I've seen who get their lashes done with Anna all look great. The space is clean and they follow COVID-19 protocols. If you are looking to get pampered and get great results, this is a great business to support! read more

Kimberly installed lash extensions for me the weekend before halloween and a good amount of them are still in tact. Even though it's a far drive for me, I'll definitely make my way back. read more

Tina did an amazing job on my Brazilian and is amazing individual all around! She was very friendly, personable, and made the experience very comfortable for me seeing as though it was my first time seeing her. She had great conversation and I definitely left feeling way better than I did when I walked in. I had a groupon and she was totally accepting to that and did not treat me any different than if I was paying full price for the service. She also gave me vouchers for my next visit! Tina, thank you so much you're a rockstar and amazing at what you do! I will definitely be back! read more

I found the Beauty Lab through Groupon, where I purchased several Brazilians (the waxing service, not the people). Anna does a fabulous job, and after one appointment, I signed up for other services, including lash extensions. The location is clean and smells lovely, there is always relaxing music playing in the background, and they give you chocolate, for goodness' sake! I'd highly recommend the Beauty Lab to anyone. read more

Anna keeps my eyes looking lovely! She's great! Started just getting my brows waxed...within a year I've added brow tint and eyelash extensions! No more mascara and brow pencils for me! Thanks anna! read more

I have been coming to see Anna for brazilians since 2011, when I moved to Seattle. She has a great sense of humor, is incredibly knowledgeable, and a great person in general. I highly recommend her for any of your skincare needs, as I have gotten several facials from her. She is always willing to explain what she does and why, her skincare philosophy, and impart her wisdom to clients. I feel lucky to have found her-- she is a gem! read more

Dominique is hands-down the best! I've seen her for regular Brazilian sugaring for over a year & really appreciate her very gentle but thorough approach. I've also seen her for lash tinting. Her rates are a great deal considering what a fantastic job she does. Plus, she's a total sweetheart. read more

First time being sugar waxed and Rochelle was absolutely amazing! Upon arriving into a clean and comfortable waiting area the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and no wait time. The room you enter for your appointment is also, clean, sterile, and comfortable. Rochelle, is so sweet and accommodating I am pregnant and she offered extra pillows to help me get comfortable. She was quick, thorough, and talked me through the process which made more easier and minimally painful as possible. Not only was the experience amazing! I am so happy with the results my skin felt soft and I wasn't left with red or irritated skin as I experienced in the past with other beauticians when getting waxed. I am excited to book future appointments for both sugar waxing and facials throughout my pregnancy and after. Thank you, so much! read more

There aren't enough stars on this app to give Anna the credit she deserves. Honestly. I've been seeing Anna since she rented a spot at someone else's salon... Now she owns her own spa!! I mean, that's gotta mean something, right?! She's the sh!t, figuratively. But in all seriousness, she's the only person in Seattle I'll ever let near my lashes, she's the best in town. I can't live without the lusciousness and fullness of my lashes. I'd post a picture of them, but I'm too busy batting my lashes around town flirting with boys. ;) read more

I came here for my first Brazilian and used a living social deal. The online scheduling was super easy to use. Anna was amazing! She was very professional and funny!! She made the appointment as fast and painless (yes it was painful!!) as possible. I would definitely go back! read more

I started coming to The Beauty Lab through a Groupon purchased in November. Even though I am no longer getting the amazing Groupon price, I am hooked! I can't imagine going anywhere else for my waxing needs. The ladies at The Beauty Bar always make sure that I am comfortable, even while hair is being yanked out of very *sensitive* regions... Anna is very funny and chatty in a non-obnoxious way. Sadie is quieter, but still outgoing and makes the experience (almost) painless. read more

Tina was great! She had me distracted through out my entire Brazilian sugaring! Sadly she isn't offering that service anymore, but I will definitely be coming back! read more

I originally bought a Groupon and was thankfully scheduled with Dominique. I can't say enough how much I appreciate how well she took care of me during the appointment. It was my very first Brazilian and I am super shy and couldn't imagine ever getting one done. She made me feel completely comfortable and I had an amazing experience to the point of where I am hooked also and bought another package from her directly. She also referred me to Anna for eyelashes since my usual lady had a baby and is no longer doing them. So I decided to also try Anna out and my lashes look amazing! She is so knowledgeable I learned so much about my lashes in one appointment with her. I have had my lashes done for two years now and never have I felt so "involved" in my appointment and she is so fast too! The Beauty Lab is now my new place for all of my pampering needs! read more

I've bought a Groupon deal for a sugaring. I've had many sugarings and brazilians done before. I felt very comfy the whole experience. Groupons are sometimes a hit and miss. This one was a hit! I definitely recommend this place to anyone. The pretty lady who did my wax was very educational and knew what she was doing. She was also very anal about missing any spots. Which I loved! read more

Bought a Groupon and love this place! I'm in it for the long haul now. Dominique is wonderful and her results are much better than other places I've had sugaring done. Plus she's cool. Lots of parking (there's a lot behind the building, plus always street parking available). Prices are competitive. read more

Bought a Groupon for Brazilian sugaring. I'll never see anyone else! Dominique is amazing!! She is quick and friendly and makes you very comfortable. ...I agree with other reviewers who rave about Rochelle! I couldn't be more pleased with how she tinted my eyebrows!! I appreciate the care she took to get them to just the right shade so they would match highlights in my hair (her great idea, not mine). Rochelle is amazing!! I went to the Beauty Lab after I bought a Groupon for Brazilian. It was a great experience, her work is superb and she takes time to explain things to you. I've been here several times and Dominique is the best! She is very thorough and waxes with amazing speed. Very flexible with times and dates, several times I made an appointment day-of. I am not one to typically write reviews, but when you find something phenomenal you have to share. I cannot say enough wonderful things - Rochelle is AMAZING. I followed her from another spot to the Beauty Lab, and she is simply incredible at her job and as a person. She is the best wax/sugar I've had - from New York to LA and Seattle. I just received my first facial from her, and the time and dedication she takes in explaining and working with you is incredible. I never want to leave my appointments! I can't recommend her and everyone at Beauty Lab enough - you instantly feel calm and at home and will feel phenomenal and beautiful when you leave. From the products they use to the way they make you feel like family and perform the best jobs in the industry. read more
