I spoke to Corey and received a wealth of information. Clearly he is incredibly passionate about locks and knows this business inside and out. Clearly the key to doing good business in this field is an encyclopedic knowledge of various locks, their advantages and disadvantages and the foibles that may come with and solution. We researched 4 different contractors sourced through Home Advisors and ultimately settled on A-List. We ultimately went with them based on their professionalism, their detailed estimate, a weekly schedule, and their thoughtful POV on the changes we were considering. Once the job kicked off, David was our project manager and we also dealt with Niv on occasion. David was exceptional in his communication and throughout the nearly 4-month project he always made himself available for any questions and concerns including going with us to pick out materials. When issues did arise (which they always do), David was quick to address them to our satisfaction. What we really appreciated was that while we had a good sense of what we wanted to do with the kitchen and the master bathroom, A-List brought in a designer that worked closely with us to visualize a full rendering of a final product that went a long way towards helping my wife and I make sure we were getting what we wanted and everyone was on the same page. While the completion date was slightly delayed from the original communication, Ben stepped in immediately made it right which we were grateful for since we were still in the middle of COVID. There were minimal surprises during the job itself and ultimately the whole project came in on the budget they originally quoted us (outside of some minor changes we requested). Now that we moved in and have had some time to experience our new home, my wife and I absolutely love the professional and competent work that A-List did. Ever since I moved in , I had wanted to re-do the bathroom and didn't have the money for it. So after hearing about some work that another unit in the building had and the good experience that they had with their contractors I decided to get an estimate and I was glad that I did. It was very reasonably priced and I am very happy with the results, both the appearance and the function. They organized everything with the city inspections and submitted needed material to the HOA for approval. They helped me pick out tiles in the style that I liked. Obviously every project will have different tastes of the owner, but they were quick to understand what I was looking for and to recommend things that fit my style. Throughout the project, they kept me informed of the next steps. Even in the beginning when they were doing the estimate, they provided me clear information. Additionally, they followed through with what they told me they were going to do in the time frame that they told me. I didn't have to chase them down for things, which is always a great thing when dealing with a contractor. They had a project manager, Shon, and a manager that was onsite to let the workers know what they had to do that day, Niv. They let me know daily what was going to happen the next day. All of the workers took care to wear masks everyday and to protect the flooring of the unit as they were working. When they left, they would ask if everything was ok and clean from the bathroom to the door. Since other units in building could tell that I was having work done, they asked for a recommendation and I gladly told them that I would use them again if I had more work to be done. I have mentioned to friends that if they need work done, then I have a good company for them.
